Bi-Mary is cool. It's like your granddad's general store: it harkens back to a time when you might roll into town needing motor oil, diapers, ammunition, a flat screen TV, a Bluetooth speaker, and Christmas candy. Seriously, they have it all. The demographic definitely skews a little older here, and it has a quaint overall feel. I wouldn't say it's great for produce: canned, shelf stable, pantry goods are abundant here. Although I did get a hug bag of potatoes here once for only $2. Great deals on nuts, jerky, and other stuff. I love Bi-Mart! read more

I have to start out by saying that this place is a little bit odd. Call it ignorance on my part - fair enough. This is a small sort of department store, sort of a mini-Fred Meyer with zero glamour. That said, they have never let me down, I've always found what I was looking for. But, there is absolutely no fluff. This is a member based store, but non-members are allowed. I do not have a membership, not sure what you get with it, but it only costs $5. Full service with a pharmacy. Great selection of small appliances and local beer. (That is an indicator right there of what my focus is). Prices are good, as good as any other in town. The store itself has zero sparkle, looks a little tired, but a solid selection. For a mere $5 one time fee and a piece of photo ID, you can become a lifetime member of Bi-Mart. We joined maybe a dozen years ago and we've been in the local store maybe only three dozen times since then. (There are about 70 stores scattered around the Northwest.) When we do go look for something at this 100% employee owned, deep discount store, we typically come away with what we were looking for and feeling pretty good about the experience. Good prices. Easy to navigate store layout. Helpful people on staff to point you in the right direction. A well maintained and managed place. We've bought things like glass food storage containers. Perennial garden plants. Plastic table and chairs to use at a construction site for a contractor friend. A heavy duty snow shovel. Individually wrapped red licorice ropes to hand out at Halloween. A metal watering can. Athletic socks. Craft paper and glitter for projects for wee little visiting relatives to create works of art. You get the idea. We only scratch the surface of what Bi-Mart has available. There are (processed) food products of all kinds. Greeting cards. Wrapping paper. Cosmetics. Hardware supplies. Home decor, including seasonal items for holidays. Housewares. An optometry. A pharmacy. Sort of like Costco's much smaller cousin in a more "rustic" set up. Much, much more rustic. And before Costco hit town, this was the place locals used for discount membership store shopping. So for reasons of longevity and good management at this store, I'll lean to a four star review, even though one might say this is a three star infrastructure place. Founded in 1955, Bi-Mart has a good amount of experience in doing the deep discount thing in the Northwest. They wouldn't be around that long in the face of so much competition since unless they were doing something right. Sometimes it's a pretty good place to check out for this or that. But first you'll need to come up with the five bucks for your lifetime membership. read more

orrible experience trying to pick up vyvanse. This isn't the first time I've felt discriminated against as an adult ADD patient but it was one of the worst. I had to pick up two different script orders from them today after meeting our out of pocket max. Both times I was told I am being charged the appropriate amount after my insurance company told me the pharmacy should not be charging me anything. I told them can you resolve this? They said it was basically my problem. I told them that I was the customer and that I understand they are not used to being customer facing since they deal with an in elastic product. She agreed to but by then I had spent far too many hours there dealing with their inability to sell their own product. Also, my doctor had told me that most pharmacies due to the coronovirus are allowing 90 day vyvanse scripts to be filled. They let me sit outside in the cold for 30 minutes before asking me whether or not I wanted the 30 day supply they agreed to sell me. I couldn't believe it. After being asked to wait for 30 minutes they hadn't even started my order yet. I feel robbed, of money, of time, and treated poorly. Do not go here. read more

I got my first Shingrix vaccine Dec 2nd from pharmacist Cummings. She was brusk , not friendly and rude. I might as well have been an animal! I am still bruised where she pinched me to give the shot. This is my first Shingrix shot. I got a shingles shot several years ago from a pharmacist Fanning. She did a great job. This shot is SUPER painful. Cummings rude demeanor made it SUPER scary !!! She should stick to to filling prescriptions. Pills are her level of care, not people!!! read more

I like Bimart a lot, don't get me wrong, but today I went in bought thirty dollars worth of goods and my receipt flew away in the wind to the roof. When I went back and asked they said they could not produce a receipt I even asked the manager and she said I am sorry we cannot reprint a receipt. read more

Thank goodness the old fashioned variety/grocery/hardware/sporting goods store still exists! Better than Walmart, Walgreens, Ace and Costco - if you need a variety of things the big boys all don't carry. And the prices are guaranteed to be less - like 20-50% less! Friendly help, nicely arranged (for a jam packed variety store). When looking for a glass sun tea jar, fishing lure or shoe peg corn, or bird seed, it's all under one roof and it's cheap! read more

I just bought a Henry Golden boy .17hmr from the sporting goods folk at this bi-mart, this staff is a true pleasure. They worked fast, took care of my needs and several others while I was waiting on the background check. Very up to date on regulations and inventory. I can give you no great reason to go to Bi-Mart other then its a total throw back store, we really enjoy it and the prices are great. They have a little bit of everything and not a lot of anything. Pretty much any store has a better selection of whatever you are looking for but having said they have something of whatever your looking for. For some reason I would rather buy whatever these guys have from them then just about anybody. The store just has this old school vibe that reminds me of Bend from when I was a kid. The people are super, the store is spotless and as I said it has a little bit of everything you can think of. We were in there the other day before the 4th of July. We walked out with lemonade, paints brushes, deck stain, fireworks, Claritin, an air freshener, fishing license, sunscreen, a kids DVD, a flower pot with plant, snacks and some gum. It's like a old school general store. We love it. read more
