This was the most communicative moving service I've had-Dani and I discussed in depth the amount of belongings that needed to be moved and what factors would bump up the price. We discussed my budget and he adjusted the move's focus so that the final bill was right where I needed it to be. I have never had another mover be so flexible and conscientious about cost. They even went above and beyond in disposing of an old piece of furniture that we ran out of room to store. I have also had past moves with them that were very short notice and small. They were the most reasonably priced moving company for small moves by far. I would absolutely move with them again.

Nova Express Movers made my move super easy. All of my belongings were transported from point A to…read morepint B efficiently and at a very reasonable price. I had some large items (television, mattress, coffee table, piano, etc.) that were all handled with care and there was no damage. I was moving in Arlington from one apartment building to another, and the move was completed in 3 hours. They supply blankets, plenty of tape, and have all the tools necessary to make the move seem simple. They have plenty experience doing moves, and you could tell. If you pay with cash they give you a 5% discount. And if someone referred Nova Express Movers to you, they give you an additional 5%. I would definitely recommend Nova Express Movers for your next move!

DOZENS of attempts to contact the company to collect on damages went unanswered. I even engaged with the BBB and Maryland Consumer Affairs who were also ignored. I also tried to reach out to NOVA to file a claim for the insurance coverage that comes with your moving expenses, and never received the information to place a claim. A company who doesn't take these situations seriously, is not a company you should trust. I am still waiting on a response, years later! This has not only been emotionally damaging, I have still not been able to replace/repair valuable furniture that was destroyed in this move. The owner was engaged on multiple occasions and chose to ignore the situation. The harassment I received during my move was Disgusting! I was whistled at, stared at, and called horrible names in Spanish during. No one should have to endure that! Not acceptable, ever!

They kept me informed throughout the process and were extremely trustworthy and personable, especially when I had to run out of the house to handle something leaving them alone and when I ended up having more items than originally planned for the move. I am extremely happy with the results and will definitely be using and recommending them to friends and family in the future. Thank you Carlos and Jonathan for your help! Overall, my move was a little over $800 (took about 5 hours with 2 movers for a local move from a 3-story townhome to a 2-story condo ) and I gave a generous tip considering the amount of work they did. Services: Furniture disassembly and reassembly, small furniture moving, wrapping pictures, mirrors and frames, moving storage boxes.

I used Bulldog Movers for a local move recently and was 100% happy with the service. I reached out…read moreto a few places for quotes and Serena responded quickly with an estimate and a clearly explained breakdown. The estimate was in line with the other companies I reached out to but they were the only company that provided a time estimate, and that was really helpful for me to feel like I could truly get an idea of my likely final cost range (assuming I didn't add anything major to my moving list). Booking was easy and done entirely online and then via email and text message for confirmations. My movers were Luca and Alpha. The called about 40 minutes before the start time to let me know their ETA, which was actually about 10 minutes before the arrival window started so we were off to a great start. Moving day is always nerve-wracking and adding strangers into the mix can be unpredictable, but they both took the time to introduce themselves by name and were so polite, kind, and calm right off the bat that it was a huge relief. We did a quick walkthrough of the house and they asked for clarifications or more information at times, which was great because I felt like they were really listening and paying attention to my comments and concerns. Then the move itself was smooth and uneventful. I didn't have any concerns about my furniture because I saw them wrapping everything up securely. At one point, a screw came loose from one of my table legs. Alpha found me to ask if I knew about any issues with the legs on that table. I told him it was a second-hand table so I wasn't sure, but asked if it was a big issue. He said no, and that he could put the screw back in, but he wanted other make sure I knew it had happened. I know that's partially because they don't want to be blamed for something they didn't do, but I still appreciated that they called it to my attention right away so there weren't any issues or questions later, and that he was able to fix it for me. Once we got to the new place, they took the time to ask where I wanted specific furniture or boxes to go in my new place so that I wouldn't have to move it all to a different room later. They wrapped up just a little ahead of the estimated time and it was super convenient to pay with Venmo. All-in-all it was a great experience and I'd use them again if I'm moving in the area.

It had been a very long time since I last moved and the last company was all booked up on the date…read moreI was looking for assistance. So after receiving a few quotes from a handful of businesses, I went with Potomac Moving due to the speed of their response, clarity in communication, pricing and overall warmth and professionalism. In our first phone call to walk though my needs, they were very assuring and accommodating, which is a such a relief in the midst of stress and coordination that comes with planning for a move. They were also always very responsive in the few times that I reached out between the time I paid the deposit and the actual move. A night or two before, I sent at email regarding wardrobe boxes, since I was debating whether or not I should buy and have a few delivered to me. The owner responded quickly, assuring me that wardrobe boxes were tried, true and if I wanted to buy any directly from them that I could. That ended up being a great call, because they were able to properly enforce the boxes so that even the boxes filled with my heaviest coats remained in tact. On the day of the move, the movers were communicative regarding their arrival time. They were also very nice and hard working. I had a few large furniture items that needed to be disassembled and they ended up being quite beasts to tackle. But they worked diligently to break them down. Once it came time to move things to my new place, that was a breeze. One gesture that I thought was just so classy, was the owner called in the middle of the move to check-in on how things were going - I really appreciated that. Overall, would definitely recommend PMC - they're easy to work with, fair and transparent about pricing and you're sure to be met with professionalism!
