The food here is all about those over the top cheesy Korean flavors and they fully lean into it. Cheese ramen, cheese balls, cheese fries, basically cheese on everything, and somehow it all works. Everything had that sweet and savory flavor combo that makes Korean fried chicken so good. Super indulgent in the best way. Service was great. They stayed on top of everything and answered all my questions since I wasn't super familiar with the menu. It made trying everything feel easy instead of overwhelming. The ambience is nice too. It's my first time ordering to-go from BHC Chicken here in KTown. I ordered via phone on a rainy Tuesday, a few minutes after they opened that day. The lady on the phone took my orders of medium Bburingkle Chicken and medium Gold King Chicken both in boneless thighs form. I also added side orders of fries and bburing fries. I tried to order the chicken in drumsticks, but as of October 14, 2025, they don't sell them anymore. Perhaps, they need to update their menu on their website and on social media. Their location is impressive at the nostalgic Chapman Market. I like their modern feel inside the restaurant and patio. My order was ready in 20 minutes as promised. The total came upto almost $70 plus tip. The chicken and fries were still crispy by the time my colleagues and I ate them for lunch. I wasn't really impressed with the Gold King Chicken because it lacked sauce and flavor. I'll probably try that flavor again if I'm in dining in and maybe request more sauce. On the other hand, the Bburingkle Chicken and Bburing Fries are the stars of the menu! I am fond of the sweet cheese powder, and it complements the crispyness of the chicken and fries. Was very excited to try this place out. Waited 2 months before I got the chance to go and wanted to get the Tenders in the Matcho King sauce. I was told they don't do that with tenders. So I asked for the boneless chicken thigh, they didn't have that available. I then settled for the bone in chicken breast and guess what - not available either! A chicken restaurant that has no chicken! When I requested for the tenders to be made in the sweet and spicy sauce as an exception because they didn't have any other options available (I don't eat bone in wings), I was told it's a company policy and they won't make me any and was offered a free soda as consolation. Don't waste your time going here, they clearly don't know how to cater and serve chicken being a chicken establishment! The Spicy Bburinkle is very spicy, but in the best way--delicious, addictive, and hard to stop eating even when the heat kicks in. If you enjoy real spice, this one definitely delivers. I came here to try the Bburing chicken and I would say that it is worth trying although I'm not sure it's worth returning unless you really love the flavor. We got a combo that had the Bburing tenders, fries and cheese ball. The fries were really good, crispy and go well with the seasoning. The cheese ball was also pretty good, it had a nice cheese pull and it didn't taste greasy. The tenders were soft although not very juicy, they didn't need a sauce and went well with just the seasoning. I would describe the seasoning as some sort of mix between cheese powder and onion powder that you would find a bag of potato chips. Licking my fingers felt the same as if I would be licking the leftover flavor of some potato chips with that description. It's not as sweet as an expected it to be but also not as addicting. I also tried the hot fried tenders which were crispy but not very meaty and didn't really have much flavor. They were not spicy at all. I also ordered the lemon yogurt sauce and it was a nice addition, a hint of acidity but with the interesting texture of it being yogurt based. I also had ranch and it was some average store bought ranch. Does the job. The place is in a really nice corner with other restaurants. Nice seating area outdoors and indoors. Came here at 10:30 PM, as Google showed closing time at 11:30 PM. When I arrived, they told me they were closing at 11 PM and only accepting togo orders. I managed to order through the kiosk, which is 2 medium chickens and a Bburingkle cheese ball. Wait time was about 30 minutes despite the restaurant being nearly empty. When I got to my car and opened the bag, I realized they had given me a regular cheese ball instead of the Bburingkle cheese ball I ordered, which is around $2 cheaper. Worse, the chicken was undercooked, it wasn't crispy at all, and it didn't seem fully cooked inside. I ended up with an upset stomach afterward. Really disappointing experience overall. Wrong item, undercooked food, and misleading hours. Will not be returning. read more

Cute store with indoor and patio seats, they have large TV Screen that play Kpop MVs. Staff were okay, but the KFC was good, we got 4 pieces of Classic and 4 pieces of Bburinkle. Love the coating outside, perfect crunchy texture imo, the meat inside was cooked evenly and still moist. The Bburinkle were covered by the cheese powder that have the similar taste like the viral honey butter snacks, it was also good. As a self-proclaimed Korean fried chicken queen, I knew I had to stop by BHC Chicken when I heard they came out with something called the Bburinkle Star set. It's a limited-time item that's available until the end of August and at their K-town location only. According to their website, bburinkle is their own magic seasoning that's supposed to taste like blue cheese, onion, and garlic. Let me tell y'all, the FLAVOR!! Doesn't even need the sauce that it came with, but I like to dip fries in the cheesy yogurt sauce though. And they even got dessert covered with the cheesy lava balls. I placed a to-go order hoping to enjoy a nice Thanksgiving meal, but my experience was completely ruined because of an employee named Natalie. There was absolutely no communication. Even worse, the payment process was a mess from start to finish. I first tried to pay by card, but when the card didn't go through, I paid in cash with a $100 bill. She checked the bill three times to see if it was real--which I understand, since fake bills are common--but she still ended up giving me the wrong change. The total was $46.07, so the correct change should have been $53.93, just as it says on the receipt. Instead, she handed me $46.07 back. When I pointed out the issue right away, she couldn't understand what was wrong. Another employee tried to help, but she insisted she was "too confused" and needed more time. Then she asked me to tell her the amount again and started calculating it on her phone. After a long and unnecessary wait, I finally received the correct amount. If it takes this long and this much confusion to complete a simple transaction, maybe fix your Toast machine so customers can at least pay by card. And while yelp tend to overestimate the time so restaurant can have time to prepare i was surprised that wings were still extremely crispy when i finally ate it. I heard so much about the bburinkle flavor but didn't have the chance to try while i visited Korea so i made sure i had to eat this while i was in ktown. It definitely did not disappoint as it is a perfect balance between sweet and cheesy. So addicting i kept going back for more pieces. The only downside about this place that would probably deter me from coming here often is the location and how hard it is to find parking. After going to Korea and somehow always missing the timing/opportunity/location to try BHC, we finally got the chance to try BHC! It definitely exceeded our expectations even after all that, which is saying so much!! We came to this spot twice in one week because of how good it is. 1 star taken off because service is hit or miss - it was basically nonexistent and unfriendly 1 day and then not bad on another day. Bburinkle popcorn chicken: 1000/5. I've never tasted a flavor like this before. It's a sweet and salty cheese powder that really satisfies my fried chicken cravings. And this popcorn chicken is insanely light, crispy, and not oily! Even taiwanese popcorn chicken isn't like this. They definitely use quality meat - we suspect it may just be the small pieces that fell out when they were cutting up the chicken they use for their main fried chicken dish. It's also only $8! Matcho king drumsticks: 3.75/5. The drumsticks? HUGE pieces and so tender and juicy with the perfect ratio of batter to meat. The flavor? Honestly, we regretted ordering matcho king. I love soy honey garlic, but this tasted... Chinese? Definitely not what we were expecting (in a bad way) because we wanted the Korean soy honey garlic flavor. It also got really sickening and soggy from all the sauce towards the end. Rabokki: 5/5. We really enjoyed this! It wasn't too sweet unlike how they like to do it in Korea, which we liked. Wish it was more spicy though. Kimchi cheese fried rice: 2.5/5. Didn't really like this since the steamed egg had so much more cheese than egg. The fried rice wasn't the best either. Bburinkle drumsticks: 4/5. We came back another day to order this! It may have been because they were so busy this day, but the drumsticks were not as crispy as the other day. Personally, we preferred the bburinkle popcorn chicken, since the bburinkle powder kind of made the chicken get soggy after a while. Beer: 5/5. Admittedly not really a beer person, but this beer was actually pretty good. QUALITY. That's the first word to come to mind. I love Korean Fried Chicken and love to try all the places. I've been following this place on Instagram for about six months and we finally decided today was the good day to order it for delivery (since we're in DTLA and not in K-town). The first thing that caught my eye was the fact that everybody on the order received their own closed bag with your name on it so, it was easy to disperse and make sure everybody got everything they ordered. You could tell from the bag itself, that quality is high on their list and then when you open the bag and see more quality of packaging (nice vented box to keep the chicken crispy) the way it was wrapped and the freshness of the food (along with a sticker that says enjoy as soon as it's served). It was all put together with a professional quality and care not seen too much in faster food style settings. Came here with some friends for dinner on a weeknight. My friend recommended this place so we decided to try it out (it was my first time). Ordering was very easy and straightforward. There were three of us so we ordered one of the combo meals that came with a ricecake dish, chicken, and I believe a few other items. Service was fine, and the food came out in a decent amount of time. But the highlights would be the quality of the food, which was really good overall, and the value. But now, this Korean Fried Chicken chain from Korea is even closer to home for me in Chapman Plaza in Koreatown - yay! I've only had delivery from the new location thus far, but it eats! Bburing cheese balls are really tasty with the powdered seasoning bits on the outside, crisp outer shell and gooey inside. The fried chicken was crisp on the outside with excellent sauce options.
