Wow. I came here with my two foodie friends and we have a high standard. This upscale Indian place blew us away. First of all, it's stunning, the decor was done very well. The table even had a tiger at the base! The restaurant used to be a nice Italian place and I am so happy it changed over. Keep in mind they have complimentary valet parking. For drinks, we ordered the old fashioned, the house bourbon is old forester, say no more. It was so tasty. Shikanji vodka sour was also ordered and my friends loved it. To start, we shared apps. My friends had the mail cheese masala bomb, which they loved. They also shared with me, the Lucknowi galouti kebab. It was really good and the sauce on the side was spicy but tasty. For dinner my friend ordered the butter chicken, she loved it. My other friend had the tandoori lamb chops. I tried both and they were excellent. I loved my madras Chilean sea bass. It was perfectly cooked and the sauce it was in was delicious. I hear they have an incredible music brunch on the weekend. Can't wait to go back and try it. I highly recommend this place

Delightful! From the moment we walked in, the staff here greeted us with such care and friendliness! This starts a really good dinning experience! The ambience is really intimate and chic. The food was delicious and the waiter was transparent about the spice levels. We had a bottle of wine but the next time I come, I would definitely like to try a cocktail as the drinks we saw looked delicious and well made! We will absolutely return here!

Valet parking, gorgeous space, friendly service. The restaurant is dimly lit and decorated beautifully. Our waiter was very attentive and patient as we had lots of questions. The cocktails all had an Indian twist, the Shikanji sour was very light and refreshing, you definitely tasted the masala. For appetizer we had the cheese balls which were very good, a nice sized portion & the Lucknowi Kabob which is a minced lamb patty (3 pieces). They were spicy and very tasty but i prefer lamb chunks as opposed to minced. For entree I had the butter chicken and garlic naan which is my go to and it did not disappoint, the dish was spicier than expected, it should be labeled as chicken tikka masala. The portion is large enough for 2. My friend had the Goan Fish Curry which was delicious! A smaller portion. We don't normally order fish but the waiter highly recommended and we're glad we tried it. It was the best thing we had all night. Very different and elevated, this dish embodied the vibe of the restaurant. For dessert I was disappointed that they didn't have rasmalai, we tried the LITCHI KI TEHRI which was like a lychee pudding, it was very delectable and different. A little pricey for Indian food but worth it for an elevated experience and great food ($100pp) Can't wait to return to this restaurant to try their brunch.

Bhaijaan is on par with some of the best restaurants in NYC~each dish somehow better than the last. The flavors, presentation, and overall experience were outstanding. And, Sophia made it even better with warm, attentive service.

We had a reservation for 7:30 and arrived right on time at 7:28. We were told we could grab drinks at the bar and that our table would be ready in just a few moments. Time kept passing, and by 8:05 we were still waiting. We asked a few times about being seated and overheard the hostess wanting to seat a table of four that had just walked in before seating us as a party of two. Thankfully, the GM Amol stepped in and quickly had us seated, which we appreciated. Once seated, the ambiance really stood out. The restaurant is gorgeous, very upscale and modern, with strong NYC vibes. Knowing the owner previously had Pipali in NYC, which we frequented often, the aesthetic made complete sense and set high expectations. Service started off well, but became inconsistent. We ordered condiments at the same time as our food, yet had to reorder them multiple times. When they finally arrived, it was essentially when we were already finishing our meal, which was disappointing. That said, the food itself was incredible. Everything we ordered was superb and clearly thoughtfully prepared. My only critique food-wise was the lobster curry. While flavorful, the shells were left in for garnish and there were broken shell pieces mixed into the dish, which took away from the experience. I do want to acknowledge that this is a new restaurant and they are still finding their footing, so I'm not looking to bash them. However, a nearly 40-minute wait past a reservation time without any accommodation or gesture is unacceptable. Still, the food truly was amazing, and that absolutely deserves to be noted. With some tightening up on service and pacing, this place has the potential to be excellent.

Beet root kebab

We had a great dining experience at Bhaijaan! We called on the day of for a reservation, and though they were full, we were able to get a table a few minutes after we arrived. The space is beautiful- authentic, good music and great vibe. The food was delicious! We were a party of 4 so we ordered a few apps and 4 mains. Plenty of food and so many delicious tastes! For apps: Beet root kabobs - different, light and tasty Ajwaini pepper fish fry- a little kick, very tasty, light for fried food Palak patta- my personal favorite!! So tasty! For mains: Delhi's butter chicken- my friend loved it- her favorite dish! So tasty! Paneer butter masala- my main and it was so tasty! I got medium spice which was a perfect amount! Lamb shank Rogan Josh - they enjoyed - I think it wasn't the favorite but very good. Chicken biryani- had a flaky cover- very tasty. For breads: Garlic naan- good- typical Lachadar pudhina parantha- definitely worthwhile. Thanks to our waitress for recommending. Overall, a delicious authentic meal!

Food was delicious, our waitress was super nice, kind and friendly. The Lamb shank fell of the bone, delicious. We had the chicken briyani too so good. The Rasmali dessert was good but I love a traditional Rasmali.

Foundry Tavern in Hicksville was a HUGE surprise for me. I knew the place had been completely…read morerenovated, but I honestly wasn't expecting the food to be as good as it was. First off, the inside is beautiful. They did an incredible job with the renovation, and I loved all the little details, especially the custom 300-pound manhole covers they're using as tables around the bar. Even better, everyone working there was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Now the food! We started with the Baked Clams, and these were legit. You could've served them to me at an Italian restaurant and I wouldn't have questioned it. The Nonna's Ribs were probably one of the biggest surprises--slow-braised pork ribs with cherry peppers and finished on the grill. Fall-off-the-bone tender, tons of flavor, and I loved that they weren't just drenched in BBQ sauce. The Firebird crispy chicken sandwich was fantastic, and the Steakhouse Sandwich with sliced NY strip, mushrooms, provolone, crispy onions and horseradish aioli was also very well done. But that Manhole Burger deserves some special attention. Beef, American cheese, caramelized onions and dijonnaise on brioche. Simple combination, executed REALLY well. This was an outstanding burger and absolutely something I'd order again. And I can't leave out the fries. They're hand-cut in house, super thin and crispy, and exactly how I like my fries. Think that addictive thin fast-food style, except made fresh and much better quality. If you remember this location from its previous ownership, give it another shot. This is a completely different experience. Beautiful restaurant, genuinely friendly staff and food that exceeded my expectations. Foundry Tavern is a Hicksville hidden gem that deserves more attention--especially for lunch. I'll definitely be back.

Went to the Foundry Friday night…read more Off path location and not great parking. We had no reservations so we ended up sitting in the outside area. Cute little spot. Heard the guy next to us order a French dip and the waiter said great, we have only 2 left. So when he came to us I ordered and he said great timing it's the last one. Took 45 minutes to get our strawberry salad which was delicious. Another 3o minutes go by (and the guy next to me who ordered the other French dip had already finished and left) So the strawberry waiter, after more than 1.15hr walk over and says "hey, we ran out of the French so I ordered you the steak sandwich. Huh? 1 hour and fifteen min later you ran out and the other guy already ate and left? I said great, but I'm not paying for it. 10 min later the owner came out. He could not have been a friendlier, responsible and all around nice person. It wasn't that he not only covered my meal but the table but it was the way he handled it. Owning a restaurant is not easy and problems happen. Food - 8/10 Prices 9/10 Place 8/10 I would not only recommend this place but they have absolutely earned my business. I obviously can't give a 5 because of the incident but I will change this to a 5 when I go back and get the service I have a feeling I'll receive. This owner deserves the business because he knows how to run a business. Money follows the people not the other way around.

Arriving, the space is bright and airy. At the table there was a lovely potted plant with our reservation name which we were able to take home with us. Such a nice touch. The trivia was really fun and something different to do. We started off with the maple bacon donut holes for the table. They came out piping hot and had the perfect donut texture. They were so good. They have a lot of cocktails and cocktails to choose from. I opted for the Spritz which was a light Aperol Spritz and it was perfect for brunch. The Paloma was also quite good. I had the Tap Stack which was pancakes layered with bacon and topped with a corn flake crusted chicken cutlet. The portion was large and hearty. The chicken was so crunchy and yummy. The bacon was perfectly cooked. The pancakes were a bit on the tough and dry side. The breakfast burrito, BEC and brunch burger were all good and everyone enjoyed their meals.
