If you arrive during a busy time, you may have to wait--but the breakfast is worth it. We arrived around 10:30 a.m., still in time for breakfast but a little too early for lunch. I ordered sunny-side-up eggs, crispy hash browns, sourdough toast, and a ham steak. That ham steak was outstanding--exactly what a breakfast ham steak should be! My wife ordered eggs over medium with crispy hash browns, crispy bacon, and a biscuit with gravy. Her only disappointment was the biscuit and gravy. She thought the biscuit was difficult to cut and the gravy needed more flavor. Naturally, I decided we also needed a pancake to share! It was spot-on, and one pancake was the perfect size for the two of us. Taylor, our server, was fantastic--friendly, helpful, attentive, and easy to talk with. Bottom line: Rocky Mountain Grill is what a classic neighborhood diner should be--good, honest breakfast food served right. If you're looking for a great breakfast spot, give it a try. We'll definitely be back to explore the lunch menu next! Solid 4 stars! Now this is my kind of place! Rocky Mountain Grill is small, quaint, and nicely decorated, with roughly 10 tables. The food at Ohana Grill is epic delicious. We were craving a hamburger and we're not disappointed…read morewith our selections. There were many to choose. Ms. yelper chose the most interesting one on the menu Hunka hunk of burning love I think is what it's called. As the Hawaiians would say, it broke my mouth. Husband had his traditional classic cheeseburger with all the trimmings and some very delicious sides. The sweet potato crinkle fries were cooked perfectly crispy on the outside sweet on the inside. The other side was very delicious mac & cheese. Obviously homemade and though it's very hot right now outside the mac & cheese would've made dinner for me on any winter afternoon. The service was first rate. We were offered suggestions which were extremely helpful. The ambience of this Ohana, which means your family to the Hawaiian people is a perfect example of what you'll find here. When it's not so hot the outside dining will be fun, but the inside was great and the bar will be a lot of fun with all of them many television sets showing different games. You won't be disappointed.

The sauce with these Mac and cheese balls was the best sauce I have ever had. I would literally buy a bottle if I could. I wish I would have gotten a picture of the burgers. We had the Irish Nachos (little too much cheese so had to order extra chips to soup up all the toppings); Jalapeño burger, Mac and cheese (too dry- like it had been sitting under heat all day); chicken fingers/ fries. Chicken fingers were thick and crispy- really good! Burger was also good. I would go back and try their Rachel Ruben and maybe a shake (they have lots of shake options). Only big complaint was that we sat under one of the bikes that hangs from ceiling and it was nasty with dust all over the wheels/ spokes. Kinda gross to be eating and have that hanging over your head!

Small cozy café with your typical diner feel…read more This was our first time in and we were super excited to try this place out. When we came in the, the only booth available was right next to the restroom. Not always a problem, but they had so much of that bathroom air freshener that it was completely overwhelming. You couldn't stand to sit there let alone try to eat a meal through it so we asked to be moved to a different table. Our waiter, cleared a table,... And seated someone else at it. He did this twice. So we went back to remind him that he was going to move us. He didn't seem too thrilled about it, but we finally did get a table away from the toilet. It took him 25 minutes to take our order. And then we never saw him again. We had to flag two other waiters down to get coffee refills. Now the food. We all ordered the two egg breakfast. One had scrambled eggs and three with eggs over medium. First, the orders came back with scramble so we had to send them back. They brought the eggs back, but they were not over medium, they were over hard. Not what anyone wanted, but we ate them. I will say that none of our food was hot , not even the plates. The plates were handed to us right to our hands so they didn't really even try to warm anything. Several of us ordered grits and that was a joke. There was literally 4 tablespoons of grits. I would barely call that a side dish. The best thing about our experience was that the coffee was blazing hot and that was great... If you could only get a refill without having to hunt down a waiter. Service was one. I'm giving the review of three because the food didn't taste bad but I would've preferred it Hot and cooked properly. Maybe next time...?

Bunny's Burgers - Back After 20 Years!…read more It's been two decades since I last ate at Bunny's, and walking back in brought a wave of nostalgia. I remember grabbing their famous onion burgers to-go back in the day--always left smelling like grilled onions (in the best way). The place is now under new ownership and has gotten a bit of a facelift. It's small and cozy with about 6 tables inside, 5 stools at the counter, and a few tables outside on the patio. We came between lunch and dinner, so it was quiet--perfect for checking out the updated menu. What I Ordered: Philly Cheesesteak - I came in wanting a burger, but the cheesesteak caught my eye. I'm a sucker for a good Philly. It came with Swiss (no Cheese Whiz), and while the flavor was solid, the bun fell apart halfway through. Hand-cut fries were okay--not really my style. I'd probably stick with a burger next time. What My Wife Had: Chili Cheeseburger with Raw Onions - Good flavor and a nice kick from the chili. The raw onions gave it that old-school Bunny's vibe. Overall: Glad we gave it another try, but next time, we're definitely going for the onion burger--that's what Bunny's is known for, and it's what we should've ordered. Still, it was great to revisit an old favorite with a fresh new feel. The service was great and our meal came out quickly. Unlike me that I didn't ask for our servers name. She did a great job!
