This place is now located inside an old tire shop (still has the Yokohama sign as of this post). The food was good, good portions and they have a nice little dining area with a bar. Everyone seemed friendly, and they have a modern pay at the table card set up. Overall we plan on coming back. I had the Huli Chicken combo which comes served over a slaw with green onions, two scoops of sticky rice, and Mac salad. Pretty tasty. My (teenage) boys loved the smash burgers.

Love the old school diner feeling and ordering by phone at your table. You can also watch them cook your order fresh from your table. The atmosphere is always welcoming and warm. Service is fast and always friendly. Their homemade pies are top notch! Definitely a must stop when in Shawnee.

The 50's-style diner setup is awesome, but the real fun is picking up the phone at your table to place your order. You don't see that anymore--and I absolutely loved it! We arrived just past the lunch rush, so things were nice and relaxed. I walked in thinking I'd order a burger... but the Chicken Fried Steak called my name, and I'm glad it did. Perfect portion size--not one of those giant plate-hogs--and served with mashed potatoes and cole slaw. The cole slaw deserves its own shoutout: rough-cut cabbage, creamy mayo dressing, and served cold just the way I like it. Everything on the plate was delicious. My wife went with the Chili Cheese Burger and potato wedges, and she gave it a big thumbs-up. And since it's a diner, I had to finish with a slice of Coconut Cream Pie. Let's just say--mission accomplished. Creamy, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for. If you love classic diners, friendly service, and comfort food done right, Hamburger King is absolutely worth the stop.

Starting off with the bun, great sauces like their garlic sauce, and smoked brisket! However, it can get pricy. There is some outdoor seating but nowhere to eat inside where you order. Look for the big yellow safe and they are in the building just west of that safe. Burger with cheese and hand cut fries included with the burger and if I remember correctly it was under $12.00. The bonus is this burger is smoked. So it has a great flavor. 3 choices of buns, several choices of cheese and condiments, add an egg for $1.49. You can also get beer battered onion rings. They have wings, smoked chicken strips, brisket, fried pickle spears and they had just added smoked baked potatoes. Great little place and we will definitely be back!

Jim's Jumbo Burger is this tiny spot on the corner and is take out only from a single window. It's only open a few hours a day and looks like it's been there, in the same exact spot since before Teddy Ruxpins existed. Exactly my kind of burger joint for lunch when on the road!!!! I grabbed a double cheese burger with bacon and jalapeños and a side of onion rings. I am team mustard so I got yellow bliss added to my buns and I asked for the lettuce, onion, tomatoes and pickle be spared as I had to eat on the fly. I really wish I'd have got it tho!!! The burger didn't need it, but I would have preferred it. So this burger was so freaking good!! Patties had this beef flavor that just kicked my taste buds with a tire iron in the best way possible. Then I had bacon stop by and say hi while slapping me a jalapeño kiss . It was hard to keep my truck between the mustard and mayonnaise stripes!! This was an emotional cheeseburger experience!! My onion rings were solid and delicious but for my preference a little too greasy. I'd eat them again but would opt to try the fries if I make it back up that way again!!! Im so glad I stopped in!!! Service was great and the two folks inside were so friendly!!! They showed me what Oklahoma is all about with their kindness in taking my order and getting it out quickly!!!! Cheers y'all!!!!

They easily beat all the chains in town but they blew the other local joints out of the water as well. It's been awhile since I'd eaten there and was so looking forward to it. But after nearly $20 for a double meat and cheese accompanied with an order of cheese tots and a soda, I wish I'd went to McDonalds. I'm joking I would never go to McDonald's. But now I can say I will never go back to Jim's Jumbo Burger. The burger lacked all the elements of greatness they once held. Virtually no flavor. No juiciness and It lacked actual substance. The tots were old tasting and stale. The cheese was none existent. The meal was not worth nearly $20. Do the math on trying to feed a family of four. A $100 bucks for dry, tasteless, old food is not worth it in any economy. The service was fine, even though the wait time was a bit much for no one else being there. And again it is nothing to look at. The vibe is 1979s retro ran down. It was once a great place with great food. Now I wouldn't waste my time.
