    Super Grande Burrito

This place was right in front of my hotel which made it an easy choice to select but I could also tell from the parking lot that it was popular. The service was very prompt and courteous promptly taking my order and checking on me regularly. Chips and salsa with cheese sauce came right out. The cheese sauce was a little runny for my liking but had good taste. The burrito was HUGE! Excellent flavor and taste and temperature was perfect to dive right into as well. The margarita was one of the meat I've ever had so you can't go wrong there.

Nothing pains me more than having to leave so,so reviews for a restaurant, especially when you want to love it but can't. We have been to El Rodeo over 15 years since being in Guthrie. The food used to be sooo good . But over the years it has become rather mediocre. The service itself was really good. Our waitress checked up on us and brought our food out quickly. But the food was just not very good. First, the chips were stale. The salsa and queso were not terrible. We ordered envhilafas- they had no flavor. The chicken was and, the refried beans were so pale . The steak and shrimp Ranchero tasted like the shrimp had been recooked many times. It was small and rubbery. The steak was ok. The rest of the plates were pretty much same issue. Bland food that was overpriced. The only thing that saves this business is The staff is super nice and not enough sit down restaurants in town.

Tiny place right off I-35. We stumbled in after a production shoot in the early afternoon. Chips, queso and salsa were average. Very bland. The lunch fajitas didn't come out 'sizzling' and the taco weres blah. Bland food but fine service. Cute hole in the wall and not terrible. But wouldn't go back.

Located just off I35 & 33 is an authentic Mexican restaurant ran by friendly and fast service! They serve the coldest beer in town!

Chicken was almost as hard as me, waiter does not know how to serve. The environment was judgmental and they charged 8 dollars for a tea

Good, predictable Mexican fare. We had the Hot Burtito and Chicken Verde Enchiladas. Both were tasty. Service is fast and friendly.

They were very good with a large portion and they paired nicely with the frozen lime rimmed glasses of Tecate.

It arrived as this dramatic, beautifully constructed tower of mixed seafood topped with avocado and a whole shrimp--definitely a dish that makes an entrance. The seafood seemed fresh, but I discovered that this particular style of mixed mariscos just isn't for me. Some of the seafood had a gray, translucent appearance and texture that I personally didn't enjoy. That may simply be characteristic of the preparation rather than any problem with the dish. I only tried this one item, so I don't think it would be fair to judge the kitchen more broadly based on my personal preference. What I can comment on much more definitively is the noise. It was extraordinarily loud. I eventually pulled out my phone and measured the sound level because I genuinely wanted to know whether it was as loud as it felt. I recorded levels exceeding 100 dB, with peaks around 103 dB. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. Unfortunately, I could barely hear them. I enjoy energetic restaurants and certainly don't expect dinner to take place in a library. But there's a point where "lively atmosphere" becomes something prospective customers deserve to know about before deciding where to spend an evening. This crossed that line for me. If a very high-energy, extremely loud environment is your thing, you may have a completely different experience. If you're hoping to have a conversation over dinner without shouting across the table, I'd choose accordingly. Friendly staff, impressively presented food, and a seafood dish that simply wasn't my jam. But the volume overwhelmed everything else about the experience--and at 103 dB, that's not background music. That's the main course.

I ordered Camerónes a la Diabla and the sauce had a darker color than expected, with an excellent spice level and an additional smokiness. I assume it was made in-house, but now it has me questioning every other time I've ordered this dish back home; have I ever tasted a house-made salsa in other restaurants before, or is this the first time?? My partner ordered chicken mole enchiladas and just like the diabla salsa, the mole was complex and balanced-- a good sign that extra time and effort went into them! There were other areas where Mexican restaurants sometimes cut corners, such as not using fresh lime in a margarita, but this place put in the effort to do it right! I hope this place continues to expand, because the unique branded and carved furniture must have cost a fortune, but it was a lovely way to distinguish this restaurant without looking kitschy and filling a building with junk. There seems to be a LOT of space as well-- probably a great place to have a party! I'm so glad this place is here in Cushing, and I'll definitely come back when I can.
