Food was amazing! Being from South Texas I do know good Mexican food. The guacamole and salsa were obviously homemade. We had the Hawaiian fajita with shrimp, chicken and beef. Plenty of perfectly cooked shrimp. Beef was a bit thin. Would absolutely stop there again. The staff were also super welcoming and fast. I forgot to mention we were traveling through and stoped there for the night. We got there at 9 pm. They close at 9:30. No one rushed us, everyone was friendly and the food was great. We were out of there by 9:30. We are fans! read more

The food is always good. The service is fast. The ambiance serves the small town of Perry, OK just fine. A good place to gather with friends. read more

Food was excellent. Wife's Margarita was very good and plenty of quality Tequila. Several waiters constantly busy checking on everyone. Busy place. You may end up sharing a long table seated across from each other. As I said very busy and booths fill instantly read more

Let me start off by saying I'm an absolute devotee of Mexican cuisine. I've traveled all through Mexico and can't seem to pass by a Latino restaurant here in the states. I stopped at Mariachi for lunch while my wife enjoyed a casino in Perry. The food left me desperate to make a return visit ASAP. I can't vouch for the salsa, I didn't try it. But instead asked if they had a hotter salsa. It was remarkable! Very well balanced with spices, not just made by adding chiles de arbol to a house salsa. I could taste the individual flavors layered within the salsa and while it was spicy it wasn't painfully so. Now, on to the best part: Jacque Pepin said the best way to test a French chefs skills was to ask for an omelet- a simple dish very challenging to deliver flawlessly. I think the same is true in Mexican cuisine- order enchiladas and if they are seasoned, filled and sauced to perfection you can trust about anything on the menu. Mariachi's enchiladas picosas (spicy enchiladas) are a perfect example. Filled with slow roasted & shredded chuck roast, flawlessly seasoned and then topped with a memorable spicy red sauce that, while hotter than my wife likes, was absolute perfection. Served with rice and beans, it was a delightful meal. Service was good, decor as expected of a small Mexican restaurant in a small Oklahoma town, and the food.....you will be impressed! read more

People are super nice best service when we come here!!! Food is really tasty! Best thing to have in Perry

What a great find! The front desk at our hotel recommended them and we were exceptionally well surprised! Awesome frozen margarita! I had the burritos deluxe in salsa verde sauce and my wife had a chile relleno platter also in chile verde. Both far exceeded expectations. Prices were below average which was another plus. The ambiance was typical of a small family run restaurant, but very comfortable. The wait staff was flawless. If you are in or driving through Perry, give Mariachi's a try. I was glad I did! read more

The hubs had the chimichanga and it was delicious. I had tacos and would do those again. Complimentary chips, salsa, pico, and guacamole! Happiness Found this on the way to Kansas. Will stop on the way back. read more

Crispy fresh chips with a good size bowl of salsa. Both El Yucatán green (very hot) and Tapatio (very good) hot sauces on table. I ordered lunch chicken fajitas. The fajitas came out with onions and peppers in a tomato sauce plus a plate with beans, rice, guacamole, shredded lettuce and sour cream plus pico. Great lunch portions. Highly recommend. read more

On a quick trip to Perry, it was supper time and we picked here from Yelp. My wife had Caritas and I had Chili Verde. Neather of us was disappointed, it was very good. I ordered a Cerveza on tap and got this large chiled mug with lime. Will return if we're in Perry. read more

I cannot say enough about the AMAZING & quick service here! My husband works in Wellington and we meet up every week for dinner. We have been here twice now & I will say the service is quicker than anywhere we've been! Minimal wait if any at all for a table, chips & salsa before you can get comfy in the booth and super quick on food coming out. We enjoyed everything we've had so far which is guacamole ---sooo good; carne Asada tacos and burrito and a chimi! We will for sure be back! Thank you Mariachi! read more

Love this place. Great authentic Mexican food. The menu includes so many different types of food too. Not just the classics. And don't forget to grab your pitcher of margaritas! read more

Reviewed May 14, 2019 Health score 83 out of 100 Exceptionally Good Food! We eat a lot of Mexican food out! Our preference is to stay away from the large chain restaurants and try to find the smaller top quality restaurants. This is one! The restaurant is very easy to access off I-35 at the Perry exit. The picture of the Molcajate alone convinced me to give the Mariachi Mexican Grill a try. We had that (the Molcajate) and the Mariachi Special. Both meals were absolutely wonderful! The seasoning and flavors were perfect. Go to the back page of their menu and chose from their Mariachi Specials list. The Molcajate comes with a mild grilled pepper, so be sure to order a chili toreado to go with the meal. Chips and salsa is included in the meal. Ask for the hotter salsa and the pico de gallo. The pico de gallo was different than any I have ever had. Instead of tomatoes it was mixed with brown sauce. I am not sure if it was adobo or a mole, but it went very well with the chips and other salsa. The very friendly wait staff said that their Pollo Hawaiano was another of their best-selling specialty dishes. Some of the very best Mexican food we had ever eaten. Their full menu can be found on their Facebook page. Note: This review and photos were originally posted on Tripadvisor by Spike S. read more

This place is legit. Absolutely loved it and the habanero salsa is insanely hot but good.

Honestly, compared to the other restaurants in the area, it's 5 stars, but I don't want to change how I rate for geography. Very casual dining, service was great! I had chicken fajitas and they were very good. Everyone in the party enjoyed their meal. Reasonably priced, and a great place to stop if you're passing through and don't want fast food. read more

We passed the restaurant twice trying to find it. The outside was so bland we just didnt see it. Once we ordered... The salsa:bland Cheese dip: watery and bland. Fajitas: take a guess. Refried beans: lifeless, grey, BLAND Just go to the McDonalds next door. Come on Mariachi, just because you are the only restaurant on the strip doesnt mean you should lower your standards. And based on all the positive reviews...your customers don't realize you are ripping them off with high priced bland food. read more

Awesome little mexican restaurant in Perry. Had the shrimp fajitas and they were great with lots of flavor. Their made from scratch flan is to die for!! read more

Food was decent. Coming from California, not as good as I had hoped. The rice is pretty good though! The reason I'm giving this place three stars is, I asked to dump my newly refilled drink into a to-go cup. They charged me for a second drink! When you're spending 60 bucks on dinner, and they want to nickel-and-dime you on a soda to go, I have a problem with that! read more

My brother is considering OSU so my family and I stayed in Perry for a few days so we could tour the campus and attend a football game. By Saturday we were all sick of fast food so we decided to check out this place. I'm so glad we did! I had the seafood quesadilla which was absolutely amazing! Very flavorful! My family enjoyed their meals as well. The chips were crispy and the salsa and cheese dip were tops! I will definitely go back if I'm ever in the area again! read more

OMG! Soooooo goooood!!!! We stopped here on a trip from Kansas to Texas basically because we didn't see much else in Perry. This place is amazing! They have the best salsa I've ever had! I mixed the medium hot with the standard. You have to ask for the hot and the hottest. All three are good, but have water handy if you dig into the hottest. Service is friendly and fast. We loved it so much, we timed out return trip to be here for another meal. Better than anything we ate in San Antonio!! read more
