This place exceeded my expectations! We sat at the bar and were greeted very quickly with fresh chips and house-made salsa in a little jug for easy refills. The bar top was filled with novelty items like vintage baseball cards, coins, and shells, and created a very interesting and whimsical display. The restaurant is very large but was not too noisy, and we had a pleasant dining experience. My fiancé ordered a chimichanga, which was tasty but unfortunately a bit smaller than he was expecting. I ordered the fajita burrito, and it was delicious. The only complaint I had about it was the balance of the ingredients: the fajita meat and veggies were concentrated on one end and the cheese on the other, and I thought the flavor of the cheese overwhelmed the flavor of the fajitas at times. That said, I would love to order the same dish again with less cheese next time because the actual fajitas themselves were probably the best I've ever had. I was impressed by my first visit to Mariachi's: the food, atmosphere, and prices are great, and I will definitely be back! read more

This place is straight trash....nice building and land but thats where the good part ends, terrible service, restaurant hot as hell they have 10 ceiling fans and only 4 worked, dirty, very little English spoken, they delivered all the plates for our 10 top to an empty table next to us without telling us it was ours after about 10 minutes we noticed it was our order so we got up and served ourselves....I ordered a beer from bar while waiting for table and paid after we ate it took forever to get the attention of our server for check and was told we would have to go up front stand in line and tell the cashier what we ordered and pay there....so we did and at that point the cashier is now arguing with us over our orders as if we were lying, tried to charge me for 3 beers (I only had the 1) and were charging others for things they didnt order, didnt say they ordered and refused to remove it even though this person didnt even see or serve our table .....their margaritas taste like kool-aid but all the local "kids" seem to love them read more

This place is beautiful. The staff is super nice and attentive. It's an authentic Mexican restaurant. It's not the best Mexican restaurant in town but its pretty good and sadly gets over looked because its so far north east of town. read more

Great place to burn an hour with margaritas, chips & salsa, while your kids play putt putt, but the food is mediocre. How do you mess up street tacos? read more

Lousy service, minimal English, Bad drinks. Disappointing and going down hill from a low place. Two people from my party got very sick with diarrhea and upset stomachs. I'm going to call the health department and have them inspect the kitchen. read more

The manager was AMAZING, super nice and comped our meal. Bang bang enchiladas and their queso are both sooo good.

Service was absolutely terrible. It took over 20 minutes to get our drinks. And well over an hour to get our food. And the food was cold when we got it. The waiter was not very good at listening and only came to our table a few times throughout our dinner. I'd understand if it was busy. But it was not full. Almost all the booths were open and several open table. Would not recommend read more

Service horrible. Probably because it was graduation weekend. But don't book so many parties if you don't have the wait staff to take care of everyone. read more

I grew up in Southern California and am Half Mexican. I grew up going to Mexico to visit family and have had the privilege of enjoying authentic Mexican food. I'm sorry Stillwater, but you have been seriously lacking in really good, flavorful, mouthwatering, delectable Mexican goodness. But! You are saved!! Mariachi Mexican Grill is here! The service is amazing, friendly and attentive. I had Camarones (shrimp) a la Diabla (spicy sauce) and I was almost brought to tears! It was VERY spicy which is how I like it (they can modify spiciness) my husband got the molcajete which was the best I tasted in years. The Margaritas are tasty and give a good kick. Couldn't recommend more! read more

I lived on the border, (Eagle Pass and Del Rio, Tx) for five years. My first husband was Mexican (he was killed in Desert Storm) so I know authentic Mexican food. This restaurant has it all! If you like Tex-mex, they have that too! The staff was friendly. The atmosphere was great. And the service was fast. We will definitely be back! read more

Had the chicken chimichangas. They were good. A little unflavored, and the Meath inside was really wet. Rice and beans weee good. This was an out of town visit. Had a really great atmosphere sitting on a golf course. One thing I noticed, where the wait staff come and go from the kitchen, the AC unit is constantly dripping water. This is the same place where they exit with your food. If you choose to go here, make sure they dodge it. read more

This place would be better if it were ran better and was more organized. Service is terrible. Hosts need to stay up front, especially when it's busy. Servers get sidetracked as the wait staff isn't organized. Servers need to have certain tables in certain sections and take care of those tables. Love the atmosphere and I love the Molcajete on their menu. read more

This is the 2nd time we ate at this restaurant. The first time the food was adequate. We pulled up in the parking lot today and there was a lady vomiting in the parking lot. That right there should have warned us. But... we overlooked that warning and went in. No one said I was smart. First the place looks greasy and dirty as soon as you walk in the doors. A waiter came to podium and seated us right away which was the only positive of our visit. Waiter never spoke to us. Led us to a table, tossed 2 menus down on a table and kept walking. We sat down assuming this was our table. The menus need cleaned. They are sticky, food covered and gross. Again, a warning I ignored. I ordered steak fajitas and my husband ordered chicken in a mole sauce. Waiter managed to take our order and literally 7 min later brought out our food. Microwave must work well cause there in no way it was fresh. My fajitas were covered in some unknown gravy like substance. Nasty. My husband chicken mole tasted like watered down canned enchilada sauce. We took 2 bites and asked for our check. I paid $32.85 and hurriedly escaped. I now understand the poor lady in the parking lot incident. Went down the road to Panda Express. Never again. Never. Oh ...the waiter only spoke 9 words to us entire time we were there. Nine. read more

One of the best Mexican restaurants I ate at in a long while. Free chips and salsa are always a nice touch and the chips were hot and fresh. For my entree I ordered a spinach quesadilla which was hot and tasty. The service was good and the food came put quickly. read more

Decent food and food service. Cheap beer price but I didn't care for the fajitas. Overall a good restaurant

Tried calling to place a carry out order, no one answered. Tried calling 4 different times still no answer, then the boyfriend tried and still no answer, so we opted to go in to place our carry out order where they told him he had to place it over the phone. Meanwhile there is absolutely no one at the restaurant, and workers were standing right by the phone. We've had issues in the past with food / service quality so we haven't eaten here in months. Definitely wont be coming back after today. The one in Perry is so much better than the stillwater location. read more

Wanted Mexican food in Stillwater, and found this place. Great atmosphere, awesome food, and good drinks!

Twice ordered a chalupa and got a tostada even after the waiter repeated back to me chalupa. It's like a bad game of telephone

Great Mexican food and drink. The Molcajete is outstanding! Service is great with a nice selection. Full service bar.

Really good food service was excellent!!! Chunky guacamole is a definite order, salsa needs a little more flavor.

Love this place! It's definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Great food, friendly staff, and the margs are delicious. Nice views too. read more

The nachos were great, and I'm a nacho critic! Friendly staff. All in all, an excellent experience.

Food was ok. There are a few mex joints around stillwater and to be honest they are all about the same food wise. I personally think mex joes has a little better food but as a local we get tired of Stan cCark restaurants all the time. One thing i will say is the margarita was fantastic. Make it a double and you really have something. Tasted pretty fresh. Not like week old marg mix from under the bar. Service was super fast. Even the drinks. Worth a shot if you're around here looking for a good margarita. read more

This is a tasty Mexican restaurant -- a welcome addition to Stillwater. Their seafood dishes are especially good. Service was fair -- our server was a little slow, but others jumped in to help as we needed. Do check your ticket carefully -- my friend had an extra $40 dish added to hers accidentally. They handled the problem quickly and efficiently, though. read more

Being from AZ/CA good Mexican food is REALLY hard to find around here. This place is so good!! I believe their first location is in Perry and this one is relatively new to Stillwater. It was authentic Mexican food and it tasted SO GOOD. Haven't had good Mexican food in over a year and this hit the spot. Chips and salsa were served when you sat down. Staff was very friendly as well. Definitely coming back!! read more

There were eight people in our lunch party. There were maybe seven other tables occupied in the restaurant, so not busy at all. We had to ask for drinks multiple times to get them delivered. The food was so greasy, the grease was running off the plate. I ordered a quesadilla and I couldn't eat the last half because the tortilla was so soggy from all the grease, it was actually pretty gross. The strawberry margarita tasted like watered down straight mix out of the bottle, couldn't drink it. I will not return here. read more

We had an amazing good meal and the margaritas were excellent really recommend this place

I absolutely love this restaurant! One reason we go here often is the very friendly and attentive wait staff. The food is very good & the margaritas are fabulous. Chips and salsa are yummy & plentiful, and now that it's getting warm, the patio is open for outside dining, which is my favorite. read more

My wife and I went in for dinner tonight. We were promptly seated and chips and salsa served. We then waited over 40 minutes for a waiter to show up and take our order. I ordered nachos supremas. Because of the small print on the menu, my wife could not read it and had to ask the waiter quite a few questions. He apparently got bored and wandered off. After another 15 minutes he came back and took the rest of the order. Fifteen minutes after that he brought out my part of the order, but when I asked where my wife's dinner was, he seemed confused and wandered off again. We went to the front desk and asked to see the manager. We were shown to that same waiter. He tried to say it was my fault that he had screwed everything up. We had had enough and walked out. We have been to this restaurant several times. The food is good and at all other times the service has been good, too. But this one time it wasn't. I expect that the next time I go in, service will be acceptable. When I tried to send this as a private email, the system deleted it. So here it is for everybody to see. Doug Stevenson read more

Awesome food and Service I love the atmosphere.... Plenty of room and extra activities . Put put, volleyball, Party rooms , and TVs/Drinks.

Good food and service. Very clean atmosphere cordial waiter. I I highly recommend this place.

We went for a family birthday celebration, and the food, drinks, and atmosphere did not disappoint! It's worth the drive!

Hope they have improved since I ate a few weeks ago. There was no hostess or greeter at the front and general confusion getting seated. Facility and venue outstanding. Got a single fork without knife or spoon and a napkin so small as to be of no value. Worst chili relleno I have ever had. Worse than out of a Sysco box and a mushy mess. My waiter was friendly. Pay out was confusing. New place in a good facility so will try again when they get the staff trained and work out the kinks. read more
