Fun place. Friendly employees and good burgers. A little hard to get to, but quite the adventure.

We drove a little over an hour to visit Vintage Steakhouse and we believe it is truly a great place to eat. Atmosphere, ambiance, selection, quality of food, friendliness and finally the taste were all awesome. The owner actually took care of us last night. It was nice to hear about the history of the steakhouse and the building it sits today. The building was constructed in 1906! Wow! They have done an amazing job in creating a welcoming and charming place to have lunch or dinner. Each person in our group of 4 ordered the filet mignon steak. We each had a different salad and they were amazing. The homemade bread was very good as a warm up for the meal. Garlic mashed potatoes were very tasty and the steaks were great. Mine even came with 2 toothpicks! :). Some of us had desert and they were also loved. If you haven't made the trip, I believe it's worth the drive! Great job Vintage Steakhouse!

Imagine these servers being college students and single mothers. Also imagine that each one of these servers is on to your alleged theft and deception and they collectively decide they've had enough of you stealing the money THEY earned while you're allegedly putting in a beautiful, brand new pool at your home. Then imagine they allegedly start keeping their own numbers and accounting for their earnings which allegedly do not match up with your VENMO payout each day. Imagine one of them is my 21 year old daughter, who is a college senior and allegedly rallies the entire staff to stand up for themselves and finally question you. Then imagine in the meeting that allegedly every single word was recorded, YOU FIRE HER, after allegedly cussing her out, and refuse to show her, or any of them, your accounting. That's such a wild concept to me! You fired a 21 year old who questioned her earnings because you knew you were caught, Brittany Rupp. As for dining at The Vintage Steakhouse in Morrison, OK, (where the FB reviews are turned off ) I would strongly discourage you from spending your money there.

Must try: T-Bone Steak and a Double Deuce Beer!…read more Why: I've been craving steak for a few weeks and when I arrived at OKC a few people recommended Cattlemen's. Ordered a medium rare steak and it was juicy and tender. It was also a large steak. Meal came with a house salad, baked potato, bread and a roll. I was also going to order Lamb Fries as an appetizer, but the waitress was able to let me try one piece on the house - great service! It would have been way too much food for one person. I washed it all down with their refreshing Double Deuce Beer. Everything was flavorful and satisfying - the steak hit the spot for me. Notes: It was a quick drive from downtown. Right when I walked in I was welcomed by hostesses and seated immediately. Everyone was warm and friendly. Def felt historic and legendary inside with their table booths, photos, and decor. A great hearty meal for my last night in OKC!

The breakfast options and classic cuts are solid, and you can really feel the tradition in the place. My only real gripe was that my lunch steak came out medium-well when I asked for medium-rare, and it took a bit of flagging someone down to grab A.1. and refill my water since they were slamming through a big rush. Even with the temp being a little off, the flavor was still good and the friendly charm kept the visit really pleasant. The historic, nostalgic charm and the genuinely friendly hospitality are what make this iconic spot so enjoyable. The lamb fries were fried to a perfect golden crisp, the breakfast menu is legendary for a reason, and the whole restaurant carries that authentic western heritage vibe that is super hard to find these days. On top of that, the servers treat you like family from the moment you sit down.

So I wasn't going to leave a bad review for a place I love so much, but having my leftovers…read moretonight, I just can't believe they would serve a steak like this. I made the grave mistake of ordering the senior ribeye. I mistakenly thought it would be like a regular ribeye cut in half. No it wasn't. I have no idea what this meat was, but it looked like skirt steak. It was 1/6 inch thick. I measured it! I ordered it medium rare which is laughable, because you literally couldn't cook it to anything besides well done because it would take probably 20 seconds to cook. I received this steak after waiting about 50 minutes for our food. My boyfriend on the other hand, ordered a prime rib medium, and his came out not even rare. He couldn't eat it. They did comp the prime rib but we paid for mine. To make all this worse, it was SO HOT upstairs I couldn't stand it. Granted it was very warm that day, but if you get overheated quickly, do not eat upstairs in the summer.I'm afraid this will be the last time we go to my beloved Rusty Barrel. We have celebrated so many occasions there including me and my love's very first date together. I am heartbroken.
