Moo ping takeout. They give you 4 skewers per order but I got hungry so you only see three. They were yummy.
    Nina H.

Multiple visits which include both dine-in and takeout warrant a review. I'm pleased there is a solid Thai joint that checks off all my boxes. They are close by, delicious and affordable. My recent visit was this weekend where I treated my parents out to lunch because I want them to try things out of their norm. They loved the food especially the Basil eggplant and the Tofu and Chicken Pad-See-Ew. The Tom Kha soup was new for all of us and had interesting flavor. I like that this location unlike other Thai places offers Moo Ping too which I love. The service was courteous and swift and if you can time it right, parking is available in their lot. Otherwise you'll have to resort to the streets for carryout and dine in.

Mixed Vegetables Entree with beef and fried Tofu appetizer lunch special
    Sonam P.

Came for lunch on NYE with friends around 12:30pm. It was easy to get elated right away and the older lady is super sweet and accommodating. We saw many do take out orders here so they were not that busy inside. The atmosphere is quiet and chill. I believe she is the owner or part of the family and was so kind and attentive. We decided to all order the Lunch Special and she helped give recos like the vegetable spring rolls being more crispy and the different choice of meats that go best with each dish, etc... I got the mixed vegetable entree as I wanted to have all the veggies and decided to get beef as I also got the fried tofu as my appetizer and the Tom Yum Chicken soup. I really enjoyed the stir fried vegetables. The beef was good as it was not that fatty as I don't like the fatty pieces of beef. I could have used a bit more of the gravy/sauce for my rice but the hot sauce helped with that :) I enjoyed the fried tofu with the sweet and sour sauce and the Tom yum soup was very flavorful and perfect to start the meal. It was just the right amount of food for lunch. I'm glad they have the lunch specials so you can try a lot of different things and also don't feel super stuffed after. I didn't have any leftovers. Overall, everyone at our table was satisfied with the food and I would definitely recommend this small Thai restaurant to others.

    Pad see ew lunch special

Did a delivery order here for lunch. The food was delivered in a timely manner. The portions was good, as well as the variety in the lunch special, for $9.50, its a decent price nowadays for what you get. We ordered 2 each of the pad see ew and the pad thai. I ate the pad see ew and it was good. A decent amount of chicken and broccoli for the amount of noodles. The egg roll with the dipping sauce was good too. The salad had a light dressing on it as well. Overall a decent meal for lunch.

    Pad see ewe
    Tiffany T.

My friend and I ordered the pad see ewe with chicken and we both thought it was really good! For $10, the portion size is good and the flavor was good too! The pad see ew was just sweet enough and salty enough for me. The chicken was juicy and the broccoli added a good crunch and texture to the dish. I do wish there was more broccoli though. Overall, the service was good! We called to order and they were quick and polite. And during pickup, it was the same :) Although the strip mall looks a little eh....from the outside, I think the restaurant and the food is definitely worth it to go here!

Tom yum noodle soup April 2018

I went here years ago because my friend looked up lunch special and they had a good deal. I was in the area one day when I was craving for "Tom Yum Noodle Soup". I called the restaurant to see if they can make tom yum noodle soup because it's a pretty popular street food in Thailand, that happens to be one of my favorite noodle soup dish (other than ramen and pho). I was so excited when the lady said they can make tom yum noodle soup so I was there so quick! I ordered the dish, along with vegetable pineapple fried ice. Out came my dish *tears* Tom yum soup with rice noodles inside. I told the lady that this isn't a tom yum noodle soup. It's supposed to be clear broth. She told me that they didn't have it on the menu, and I said that's why I called to see if you had it. There's a difference between tom yum noodle soup (clear broth) and tom yum soup (red broth typically with shrimp). The taste of the food is ok, but the restaurant is very 90s environment. When I've got, it was super empty, making me wonnder how they survive with business, but I've noticed there were a lot of pick up orders.

Now along with bookmarking those locations, I have even joined the Noodles Rewards program which has certainly been a pleasure being part of. Since being part of the program, I anticipate checking emails received because not only does it give me the chance to visit Noodles & Company, but also the chance to save on whatever is offered, which is an opportunity I do not have with other restaurants I enjoy. After having this location on my radar for some time, I finally visited after a long day of working at my secondary job in the area. Looking through the menu, I would have loved to have ordered the Pasta Fresca with IMPOSSIBLE Chicken, but I did not see it featured on the Uber Eats menu. So, I ended up ordering the Pad Thai with Sautéed Shrimp as my protein instead which had my interest as an alternative. Whether it be Grubhub or Uber Eats, I love ordering online because it is convenient. Most of the time my orders are completed upon my arrival or near complete. By the time I arrived onsite my order was waiting behind the counter during this ordering experience. Picking up was just confirming my name, order, and I was well on my way like a villain dressed in a black-and-white hooped shirt and pants, a red cape, a wide-brimmed hat, and black gloves. That is the Hamburglar, a McDonald's character for you youngsters out there reading this review, tehehe. Grateful to have had a smooth online ordering experience because the likelihood of me ordering online again at the location is very high. Nicely presented inside of sustainable packaging, I wasted no time eating the Pad Thai after taking pictures to share on yelp. It was fresh tasting with even a satisfying portion given. So delicious was my first forkful of the rice noodle stir-fry which resulted in me dancing as I ate each bite while inside of my kitchen, leaving not even a crumb behind once I finished. Along with the rice noodle stir-fry, the Pad Thai came with scrambled egg, napa, red cabbage, citrus, peanuts, and topped with scallions; I opted out of the cilantro being that I am not fond of anything spicy. I highly recommend the Pad Thai, if you have stumbled on my review and are open to trying anything featured on the menu. Along with the location downtown Chicago, I would gladly consider visiting and ordering from this location in Niles again. I was bummed that the location nearest to my primary job in River Forest closed, which just leaves me left with visiting either the location within downtown Chicago, or this one in Niles. Atmosphere: 4 | Service: 5 | Food: 4 Recommendations: Buttered Noodles, Pad, Thai, Penne Rose, Wisconsin Mac & Cheese, Pasta Fresca, Pesto Cavatappi, Spaghetti with Marinara, LEANguini Rosa or LEANguini Fresca. I ordered the Garlic Bacon Crunch Mac and Cheese through uber eats. I also got a rice Krispy treat and a regular sprite. I got the smallest size option. This location is 9 minutes from my house and delivery was quick. This was such a sad bowl of pasta. It was like the noodles had been scooped out, sauceless, into the bowl then some sort of cheese sauce was ladled on top, and then the toppings. It was like warm at best, which I try not to hold against deliveries, but this could not have been hot when it was picked up. It was not creamy, it was clunky and so unenjoyable. After paying $27 total for delivery I ate it, and then it sat like a rock in my stomach. What an absolutely miserable experience. Rice Krispy treat was delicious though. I know there's tons of other noodle options on uber eats, please skip noodles and co. and try any of the other options.
