If you like your hair don't let Amy touch it. I went for a TRIM and I said 1" to remove the dead ends. She started chopping and by the end she took 5 inches. When I noticed I told her it's too short it was too late. She asked me if I was okay with a little more and to keep my long layers well I never expected my beautiful log hair to be chopped off. She needs to work at a restaurant chopping vegetables and not messing up peoples hair. I'm extremely upset as it will take me months to grow my hair. Layers are uneven, it's extremely short and she started to "thin" it out without asking me. When I signed it I specifically wrote down Trim. It would not upset me as much if at least it was a good hair cut but it's so uneven I'm going to have another cut to fix it. I have attached a picture of my hair two weeks before the cut and the day off. Hate my hair and it's extremely uneven. read more

This lady right here..AMY!! I don't know who hurt her today but she was horrible, had very bad manners, and treated me disrespectfully. I usually get my haircut with Lee, however, she wasn't there so I asked if there is anybody can cut my short hair, and I got booked with Amy at 1pm. I got there 10 minutes early, waited for her. She wasn't working or anything, she let me wait until 1:17 ( her coworkers even reminded her that I'm here) and walked up to me with a mouth was full of food - said "Don't you usually get a haircut with Lee, do you want to come back tomorrow and let her cut it?" And I said no, I drove 35 minutes to get here and I agreed on the phone that someone else can cut my hair today. As of what I thought, she messed up my hair, she left it uneven on purpose. She cut in the back but didn't cut or trim in the front. One side is much thicker than the other. What kind of a haircut like that? I had to call her out because she was pushing my head purposely and kept messing up my hair. I can't get it fixed if it's too short. She started pointing her finger at me and talking trash in Vietnamese, guess what I'm Vietnamese. She said she's a hairdresser so she can do whatever she wants. Wow, I didn't know she has the power to disrespect someone. Even the manager and her coworker said that I didn't say or do anything disrespectful. Kacie had to fix my hair, and said sorry. Amy, please work on your bad manners. Do not ever think it's okay to loose a customer, I'm telling you it's added up and no one will come to you. This review isn't for the salon itself but for Yanny, she gave me the most unprofessional haircut I've ever experienced. My usual guy Chris was busy and I didn't have time to wait. I asked for a simple cut with high and blend both sides. I used my finger to show her where to stop. She started cutting and didn't go high enough, I asked her if she ca go higher and blend it. She only moved a little higher. I thought ok not a big deal but she didn't even do anything on the other side. I then asked her the same thing and I used my finger to show how I wanted her to cut. I guess she was in a hurry because she started trimming faster and just started blowing the loose hair off. She took off the cover and I asked her if she can just trim a little from the back. She didn't put my cover back on and started to cut, she she was done she left my hair uncombed. I had to grab a comb and at least brush it. There was hair all over my shirt and she just started walking towards the counter to have me pay. I'm not sure if it was a language barrier or she was just frustrated but I will not be back to her for haircuts. read more

I've been coming to this salon for the past few years, and since I attend university in a different city, I often just wait until the next break when I'm in town to get my hair cut rather than risk going elsewhere. I've had my hair cut and dyed here and the results are always a hit wherever I go. My ego likes this salon, I get randos on the street complimenting my hair at least once a week. I've had my hair cut by Kacie, Bee, and Chris, and they're all great. I've had my hair colored by Kacie and Bee and both times were also good experiences. As for the styles I get, I usually go for something edgier, but I've also had more traditional styles like bobs. They've always listened to me and will check that the length, layering, and style are what I'm looking for. I usually show up with a picture, but will also add my own personal touches, and they take careful note of that. But lately she is too popular until she has to reduce the time for customers because she got fully booked appointments. So for the time she gave me only 30 mins for my long and thick hair. Me and my wife have been going to this saloon for almost 3 years now. Every time we are very happy with the haircuts. My wife usually get layered trim while I go with regular men's cut for $13. I typically go to bigger chain salons to get my hair cut, but having been nearly four months since my last trim, I decided to hop in and check them out. I have fairly long hair and a lot of hair, and my trims/cuts usually cost me well over $60, but this place was less than half for the same long layered cut (and I think it's better than most big name salons). I forgot to get the name of the lady who did my hair, but she was great. Asked a lot of questions up front, double checked with me regarding my hair shape (I like my hair to be somewhere between a v and u cut), and the best part was that her razor was actually sharp. Since I have a lot of hair, it's inevitable that stylists use a razor to feather my layers, so it's crucial that it's sharp to minimize damage to the hair ends. I skipped the hair wash/dry as I like to do it at home before going (I'm super picky with the hair products I use, and I always use heat protectant serum before hair appointments, something that a lot of salons skip even though they heat style your hair) so I can't speak on that service. Overall, this was a great place to get that basic long layered cut without costing me an arm and a leg! read more

Used to like this place but their pricing for a guy's haircut will vary. I always had a normal clean haircut done. They charged me $15. No problem. Had the same haircut. They charge me $16. I was like ok, maybe slight inflation. Then this last time, same haircut, they charge me $18. My problem is that they are not transparent with men's haircuts and will not let you know until they are done. Out of all the times, I hear/notice the owner speaking in vietnamese to the person cutting my hair something. I'm sure she was setting the price since the worker doesn't dictate it. Used to love this place - NOT ANYMORE! 2 months ago, I got my hair colored, plus the stylist cut my hair about 1/2" all around and reshaped my bangs. $65 plus tip. I went back 2 weeks ago, and this time I agreed to have highlights. Although the the same stylist did a very good job, when I went to pay, it was now $140! WAY TOO MUCH! She said it was $65 for color, $45 for highlights, plus $35 for taking off 1/2" haircut. (I believe a haircut is only $18 there, but they took down all their pricing signs). So she said all she could was was lower price by $5 but that was it. I reluctantly paid, plus added a good tip. I am sorry to say I will never go back. I feel like I have been robbed, and my friends agreed. read more

Went on a Saturday evening at around 6pm. Even though the place was supposed to shut at 7pm they rushed through my haircut. When I say rushed they didnt listen to what I had requested, asked me to pay up before the haircut was over, had my sign and tip on the receipt while still cutting my hair. Obviously such a rushed job resulted in a terrible haircut. Will never come back here. Terrible service and attitude. If you are going to close soon just inform your customer to come back the next day. Dont rush and do a bad job. It shows you dont really care about your customers. read more

Although the place has become more popular throughout the years, the quality of the services has not changed, despite their busier schedule. Whenever I'm in town I come here for my haircut. The price has inflated, from $17 to now $25. Depending on how long your hair is and how much work is needed, the cost will also be different, but the barbers are skilled and give you very professional advice. Kacie is the owner and I usually request for her. This is a popular spot for family, the young and the old, you name it. One tip is to call in and schedule.
