I got really lucky and found this place when I first moved to Dallas about 2 years ago. There's not much to say besides the fact that, it may not "look" glamorous on the inside but everyone who works there has cut my and my fiance's hair and done a great job. They are relatively inexpensive, costing me $65 for a full highlight and $15 for a haircut, so $80 whenever I come here. That is a very good price for the quality and consistency I get here. My fiancé only pays $15 for his haircuts. If Tiffany is your hair stylist, she will talk your ear off and keep you entertained. I know about her daughters beauty pageants and her chihuahua who apparently likes to hide under the bed. There are places that overcharge and make me not want to tip them. Plus it's not worth it. So, For the last 5 years, a lady in Houston did mine. She worked at Toni and guy and then quit. So I paid $13 for a haircut from her. I tipped very well. She moved out of state. And I moved to Dallas. I waited about a year and a half and my hair was looking like Rapunzel. I'm very iffy about going to new places. But I did some yelp researching and I decided to come here. Tiffany wasn't in today, so victor did my hair. He's very nice. Oh how I miss Tiffany! I moved to Arkansas and have not been able to get a good cut yet. It's crazy over-priced here too. Tiffany is the best kept 'secret'. I am sorry to write this but I am really upset with my haircut.. Tiffany was my hair person for the last 2-3 years.. The last 2 haircuts were done very quickly and attention was not given to styling my hair.. I was going to go back for a re cut each of those times but because you kind of don't want to embarrass the hairdresser I didn't.. Each side cut differently, not the same length, no layers cut, etc. Well I decided this haircut was going to be done correctly.. Each of the past 2 haircuts Tiffany was distracted by guests or family members while cutting customers hair.. So I get there show her a picture and say can you cut my hair like this?? Please make sure you layer my hair? Well I should have said something about her talking on the phone my whole haircut.. Guess what my hair is layered, but I usually have a short bob haircut, not I can barely put my sides of my hair on my face. When leaving haircut I looked down on my lap, there was about a 3" piece of hair in my lap.. Fortunately I can style my hair, but Tiffany you have lost a customer.. Nothing I can do now with my haircut but wait a few weeks and get it recut by someone that will do their job and pay attention to what they are doing and also giving customer what they asked for.. read more

Face masks and social distancing are maintained and there are rarely more than 3 people in at any one time. Tiffany and her brother are excellent and professional hair stylists. My hair retains its shape at least 2 months and I get multiple complements from my friends! Today Tiffany colored my hair and it looks great! I find she listens to what I'm saying and is open to opinions. I've never had my short Bob look better than when it is cut here! Her brother shampoos hair twice (which most salons don't do anymore) then uses a conditioner and as a real bonus give the best head and neck massage I've ever had! We need to support our small local businesses now more than ever! I had seen Tiffany's name on Next Door and I'm so happy I did. It is in the same little center as DATA and Covino's. I've been getting my hair cut here for the past four to five years. I always ask for Tiffany, the owner, to cut my hair and she does a fantastic job of layering. She is this really nice Vietnamese woman who chats a lot with customers. Haircuts are $13 for women with short hair and a little bit more if you have longer hair. You can also get your hair cut with a razor if you pay a little bit more (somewhere between $2 and $5). I've never spent more than $20 here, including tip. I'm always really satisfied with the way my hair looks....well except for the one time I got a bob (which was a really bad idea on my part) and a woman named Binh cut my hair. I'm pretty sure that if Tiffany had been cutting my hair, she would have refused to cut it that short. I really trust Tiffany's opinion about what type of haircut would go with my face shape, so I would be really reluctant to get my haircut anywhere else. read more

Decided to try after all the great reviews. Made an appt. for my son with Tiffany and glad I did as they were busy taking photo shots of hair being done and a facial, not your typical day at the salon. The staff was friendly and Tiffany was pleasant. My son spoke for himself as he knew what kind of style he wanted, even brought a picture to show her. Of course I had to put my 2 cents in so she was aware of what areas to shorten. Its been a long time to see a stylist use scissors vs. clippers to cut my son's hair. It was nice to see her take her time as well. When she was finished his hair look good with gel for the finishing touch. Up until he took his shower and noticed what area needed a slight fix. Would have given 4 stars instead of 3 not a deal breaker and can easily be fix but saving time to not go back to fix is a big thing for me. Maybe next time it will be better. read more

Really do not understand why this place gets such good reviews. If you don't care what your hair looks like then, okay, they're not bad a cutting hair. But if you have an opinion -- forget it. I went in and asked for two inches off. They took four inches off. My husband went back and saw someone different. He asked for an inch off and they took three. I am not exaggerating. We measured. Worst Clips: worst attitude. I made a same day appt for just a style. Tiffany arrived late. And starts the dissatisfaction saga. She told me my haircut looks good, and asked if she did it last time. I replied, i have never been here before. She asked me what do i want, i said round brush curls or waves. She said she doesnt know how to do it, but she knows what I want. So she started working on my hair how she wanted, regardless of what i wanted. Inspite of letting her know that i wasnt happy with shes doing, she kept on telling me she knows what I wanted. And kept telling me my hair was fuzzy and dry. Never has someone told me my hair was like that. Everyone likes my hair and my hair is pretty. (I didnt feel bad at all that she said that!) She kept on accusing me repeatedly of using oil after hair wash. And kept on repeating that my hair is dry and fuzzy. So after she was half way done, she asked me to show a picture of what I wanted. I told her, why care for the picture when youre doing what you want to do. Anyway, i have had my hair blown out hundred times, and i know what to expect and how my hair can be styled. She didnt even section my hair appropriately, and curled it with a straightener inspite of me telling her that I didnt wanted to use any straightner or curling tong. Even though I told her like five times that I do not want anything other than round brush, she just kept going on with what she wanted to do. I gave up and i didnt have guts to get up and leave. So i paid $25 for a style that I didnt wanted and i didbt like. She was very chatty, and stubborn. Besides these, she asked me if I have lived long time in Plano, I said 7 years. She replied 7 years is not a long time, she has been in Plano for 27 years. Okay, good for you who cares. Oh, let me not forget to mention she repeatedly declared over and over that she has been doing hair for 27 f**** years and she knows what I want. Well lady, I dont care if you have been doing hair for how long, but if your attitide sucks, you wont be getting business from people like me. Apparently, you lost lot of referrals at the same time. And she asked if I wanted her business card, I said NO on her face and left. TIFFANY, keep your 27 years exoerience with yourself, put in your pocket.
