Evans is amazing!!! She's the new owner of the salon and did highlights plus a cut on my hair. I knew she was good when I realized how much attention to detail she had. She purposely didn't dye my ends due to some damage I had, but was still able to make the color flow so seamlessly all over. hair was almost down to my butt long and thick I asked for an inch and a half off and long layers. the shortest layer is to my ear, my hair is now just a few inches past my shoulder and the "layers" are straight cuts no blending or anything... it looks like I have extensions in. by Far the WORST hair cut I have ever had.. I went to this salon because of excellent recommendations. Most are true but seem to be written by buddies of the establishment. I, a big guy, showed up on Monday around noon. The few folks there went silent-no greetings-no hellos for the new guy. I felt like an intruder. Once in the chair the treatment was just as cold and inpersonable. I was intruding and "Min" rushed to give me a one handed speedy haircut in under ten minutes. No banter, just a rushed haircut by a sour person. The cut was good, she does decent work. Afterwards she charged me $19 for a one-handed quick head shave and I foolishly tipped a buck. I did ask if I could wait inside for my ride but soon chose to wait outside in the cold than to sit in that unhappy place. It's a clique place, not welcome to strangers or newcomers. read more

Yall I'm so sad, my haircut was so uneven! I miss Min so much (who retired) I had been coming to her for years! I had Nina cut my hair, and had asked for a straight cut with curtain bangs. She seemed to really want to cut layers, as she confirmed with me three times that I didn't want layers. I didn't think much of it at first, but I found it odd that 1) she only took 20ish minutes on my haircut (There was no one else in the shop at 2pm on a weekday, and in the past Min always took around 45mins) and 2) she insisted on blow drying/styling my hair before letting me look at my hair. It looked fine, I tipped her pretty well considering COVID may have taken them out of business for a while. I got home, washed my hair and immediately noticed one side of my curtain bangs was way shorter than the other side. Not a big deal, I evened them out. Then when my hair dried, my hair started flipping out which has not happened before when I started getting a straight cut. I thought she may have accidentally cut layers, which would make sense. However, my family members started noting how one side of my hair was longer than the other, and even with the "layers", it was uneven nonetheless. I had to go get my hair recut :( To summarize, it was a fast but sloppy job. read more

Great find! I'm pretty impulsive and wanted to get my hair done that day! Never been fond of over priced salons and looking for someone knowledgable but not too pushy. Min did just that. She looked at the picture I had and made recommendations regarding my hair type. You can hope and dream about how you want to look all you want but if you're not one to style or make the effort to take care of your hair, that look you want ain't going to happen. I'm a simple girl. Air dry my hair and let it do its thing. I have Asian stick straight hair, went in for a long bob and got it. Don't know what the usual price is for medium length hair as I use to have my mother cut it. But felt the price was fair. read more

Min was very nice. However my haircut was not. I asked for a "lob... a long bob" but she didn't understand it I guess? She did my hair and started cutting a whole bunch of layers in it. At the end, she quickly fixed up my hair with a blowdryer just to give it some kind of wave and it did look nice. But then when I got home, I found that my hair was not even, my bangs were uneven, and it was not a good haircut technically. I paid $19 with her plus tip, and then paid another $16 to get my hair fixed at a Supercuts near my work. I was hesitant on going to a professional salon because of the price, but with how much I spent in total, I might as well have. The reviews I read about this place were good reviews but most seemed to have taken their kids to get their haircut there. I hate how sometimes it takes having to go through a trial and error to know where you can go to get a haircut. Finally, her place is huge but she is the only person who is running the entire salon. When I came in, the place was dead silent, no music or anything, so I thought the environment wasn't that great either. If she wasn't so nice, I would've only given 1 star. read more

Min happily cut his hair as a walk-in. She was so kind and did such an excellent job that he remembered her nearly three years later. Min, the stylist at this salon is truly good. She understood that my daughter's prior haircut, at a local well-known and popular salon, had to be corrected without our saying a word to her. She quietly corrected the bad layering done at the prior salon, cut off enough of the ends to give my daughter's hair bounce and body, and framed the haircut around my daughter's face to accentuate all of my daughter's lovely features. She did all of this at a reasonable price. I was quite pleased, but the real test came at the end when my daughter told me how pleased she was with the haircut. The stylist here is very talented at her craft and takes the time to look at your hair, determine its natural texture, how it lays, and what the best haircut for you is. I used a couple of the big salon chains in the mall forever and while at one point I did have a good stylist for several years at one the salon, it closed and I was left with out a regular stylist. I've hopped around from place to place for a while, never really satisfied with the results. A friend referred me here and I couldn't be happier. I don't have very thick hair, and it just tends to be rather limp and lifeless. Most stylists remedy this buy putting layers in, layers just don't work with my hair. The stylist here really understood that. I just can't stop raving abut how great my stylist was. She looked at my hair and could tell two things, that I brush my hair when its wet, and that the last place that cut my hair used thinning shears. She also suggest that i switch to a spray on leave in conditioner as traditional conditioner will weight down my thin hair. All that and the cut and style was only $28, about half of what I normally pay for a cut read more
