I am updating my review based on my recent visits. I did return to the location twice since my original review, because again, I really wanna like this place, due to their various options. So, when I returned, Manager, Danielle, kept her word and insisted on giving me a complimentary drink, although I wanted to pay. When she found out that I paid, she gave me a full refund, to include the bakery item I ordered. When I returned, today, my drink was prepared timely, and this time it was full. Now, I still think the drinks are a little pricey, but the two drinks that I order are pretty good. Anyhow, I'll continue to visit this location from time to time, with hopes that they'll continue to fill my cup. read more

I was so excited to have a Better Buzzed open closer to us! I've loved this establishment and grab a cup every time in SD. This location is phenomenal. There is plenty of seating and the decor is aesthetic. It would be a great place to do work and enjoy the mood. I ordered their iced hazelnut divinity which is amazing. I can't wait to try their other drinks and food! I went in on a busy Sunday morning so it took a lot longer than I expected, but I will be using the app moving forward to make it quicker for take out. read more

The store just opened so I'm leaving this review to provide feedback. I ordered an iced Best Drink Ever and asked for it half sweet. I didn't taste the drink before I left unfortunately. The drink tasted pretty bad and just like coffee beans. It wasn't sweet at all. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and that was good! The service was nice and quick. Slightly disappointed, the drinks were fantastic but the food just was not good! The avocado toast was pretty pricey due to me getting extra toppings & I wouldn't have minded it but when I went to take a bite it was just a soggy slice of bread, just gross. I had read previous reviews so I made sure I had said extra toasted but that didn't matter, honestly I think it would've been amazing if they would have actually toasted the bread. Nice coffee shop in Menifee. Great customer service team. Coffee is very good. Refreshing drinks are excellent. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious. Ham and Cheese Croissant came out nice and hot. The Better Breakfast on a pretzel bun was perfect. The Berry Ricotta Toast with thick cut multigrain was my favorite too. The croissants are good but the pistachio tasted best. You can't get better coffee then better buzz. Especially at this location. With such a low amount of coffee shops in my area. This establishment is by far more superior then your typically watered down corporate coffee at Starbucks. The coffee actually taste pure and bold. I love the great selection of drinks and food. To top things off, the staff is amazing and gets your order right in a greatness. You can count on Josh the manager and his staff to deliver the greatest customer experiences. Pros : - Great coffee! (had a regular latte), as Better Buzz's are known for. - Friendly Staff despite the super busy day I went on. - Good amount of Food. - Quick turn around times. Cons : - It gets packed pretty quick, so if you are in a hurry I would pick your times wisely - Limited indoor seating, especially during winter season. - Their whole bean coffee (to buy) bags do not contain the roasting date, which, if you like fresh coffee then this is bad and that means they could be selling you months-old coffee beans, just beware. We visit this location often. Our favs for breakfast are the avocado toast and better breakfast sandwich, can't go wrong with either. Drinks are consistent. My only complaint was a visit when a female barista was just not in the mood, she handed my drink to me in a hurry kinda slamming it not putting the lid on correctly so when I drank it my drink spilled on my LV bag. I was livid I let it go. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, although after that visit I've noticed she's not very kind in general. Another employee gave her a look too, like really! Let me start by saying, I LOVE better buzz like my entire family crave it and make the drive (30 min) all the time but today's visit left me less than thrilled with our items. The salted toffee nut latte that my daughter ordered legit tasted like someone poured salt in the drink, like not even enjoyable both of us tasted the drink and had to wash it down with something else to get the salt taste out of our mouths, COMPLETELY unenjoyable and can in no way alter the drink, please be mindful of that..additionally I ordered cold foam (cinnamon cold foam) for my horchata latte, it tasted more like a canela drink and no sweetness at all, just a bunch of cinnamon but it did not come with the cold foam. Now, I get that sometimes people forget things, but it legit says it on the sticker on the drink, and it's not a cheap add on, if I weren't pressed for time I definitely would have gone in. I hope things change and maybe today was just a freak incident, we did order on the app which we always do and have NEVER had a problem until today. I hope it was a fluke as we love their coffee. I was in the hunt to find a new coffee shop that was a chain , and also a place where I can study while enjoying a cup of coffee. I found this location, and was really impressed at first. It kind of threw me off though when I noticed that there was only one outlet in the establishment, and also no Wi-Fi. I thought that was awkward for a coffee shop. I've been to several coffee shops around, and this was the first one that didn't have Wi-Fi. I spoke to the young employee about this, and she really couldn't tell me why. She didn't use the words, but To me it seems like the owner of this location wants it to be more of a grab and go type of spot. Very disappointing. Solid espresso, awful drink flavors. I ordered the cortado and the first red flag was that I received a cappuccino instead (this is a common mistake and normally points to a coffee shop that is not knowledgable and reliable). I truly enjoyed my drinks, but the friends I was with all got sweet drinks and they quite literally like powdered sweetener. If I had gotten the Mexican mocha, I would have taken my first sip and then promptly throw it away. I've been a barista for years so I have very high standards for coffee. The location is super nice and it is beautiful inside, I love that they have both still and sparkling water on tap free for customers. Come here if you just want straight up drinks with no frills or if you want a cute instagram picture. read more

As a new guest I felt like they could've made more of an effort to guide me on the menu and give recommendations but the guy was nice. Better Buzz is definitely the number one place I recommend for Iced Coffees or lattes! The cashier was very sweet and persistent with my order, and helped me with choosing a drink that satisfies me! I reccomend coming early mornings before they get rush hours. read more

I ordered a blended white mocha and it had tasted like chai, not what a normal white mocha tastes like. I politely told her and she said she would remake it. As she remade it, she and her coworker were making fun of me and laughing about the situation, saying there is no way. I was sitting right in front of them and it was just rude to make fun of a customer when the drink did not taste right. My friend tried the original and the remake, and had agreed they did not taste the same. There was no reason to be rude so please work on customer service. read more
