Came here at about 630 am. A couple hours later than I wanted. Was able to order a Hot Hazelnut Large Coffee, Nutella Croissant, and an OG Acai Bowl. I also got an order of big donut holes with cream filling. Everything was so good! Alot of workers here today, getting bombarded, but great service. It's a really nice and clean outside place. Decided to come to this Better Buzz location since I've been to the one in Coronado and loved the items I bought there. This location is very convenient, as there is a drive-thru and a window you can order from. We decided to go through the drive-thru and Izzy helped us. It has been a while since I have been to a Better Buzz so I needed some time to look at the menu. Izzy was so patient and gave some really good recommendations to me and my mom. I really appreciate the friendly customer service from her. We received our orders and everything was just as expected. The acai bowls were nice and full and taste so good. We also got the caramel vanilla best drink ever for the first time thanks to Izzy's recommendation and we're very pleased with how good it tastes as well. The gentleman who took our order was super sweet even when I make an adjustment after making my order, amidst the amount of people waiting. Now the drinks, I ordered the iced maple best and the bear claw best. The bear claw was better in flavor with a balanced sweet/strong ratio where the iced maple was lacking in flavor and was mostly a strong coffee taste, but not bad. The Best Drink Ever and Lavender Tea Latte are my usuals, but service has significantly declined since your grand opening... and I come often! Today's interaction was definitely disappointing. The team member kept getting my phone number wrong and then tried telling me that it wasn't coming up for rewards and she would just print out my receipt so I could get reward credits for it later. I offered to approach the window rather than stay at the speaker because we were challenged with hearing each other clearly (and there were no cars ahead of me to get to the pick up window) but she responded and said she could just take my order from there. This place just opened yesterday and we just had to try it. The line looked crazy long however they 3 staff members directing traffic which made so easy. Also, we were in line for less then 7 mins (timed it) from begging to end. We got the avocado feta toast and 4 drinks (2 for us 3 for some friends). - the bread was perfectly toasted lots of bacon, avocado, tomatoes, feta. I will say, for my liking it needed some salt but other than it was so good. I got the Hazelnut Divinity - white chocolate mocha with a touch of hazelnut Hot - very flavorful, if you love hazelnut this is the drink for you! My Fiancé got Best Drink Ever - classic americano + signature creamy vanilla Hot' - light roast, very tasty, no burnt taste, love the vanilla flavor not too sweet just perfect. We also got the Horchata Iced Latte espresso, housemade sweetened cinnamon rice milk, almond milk & cinnamon sugar And Matcha Tea Latte Hot. The customer service was amazing. My husband and I went through the drive-thru today and had a very mixed experience. Jackie, who took our order, was extremely kind, helpful, and professional. She repeated our order clearly to the staff inside as we pulled up, and we really appreciated her great attitude. Unfortunately, the experience at the window was disappointing. The first drink we were handed was spilled all around the outside of the cup, and I had to use several napkins just to clean it up. While waiting for the second drink, we could see the employees inside laughing and joking around. I specifically ordered my drink with no whipped cream because I am lactose intolerant. I watched the employee put whipped cream on it anyway, and another worker had to tell her it was supposed to have no whip. Instead of remaking the drink, she wiped the whipped cream off, put the lid on, and handed it out. The outside of that cup was also spilled. When someone asks for a modification due to a dietary restriction, it should be taken seriously. Overall, the drinks were not made the way we ordered them, and it felt like more attention was given to joking around than to accuracy and presentation. I hope this feedback helps improve quality control and customer care at the window, especially since Jackie provided such great service at the start of our visit. I was so excited to see better buzz opening in upland. I saw the hype on tiktok and couldn't wait to try them. Let's start with the good. Their biscuit and gravy breakfast sandwich they had was so delicious and honestly restaurant quality. Their breakfast wrap is also super delicious and the aioli they use has a nice flavor. I ordered an almond croissant once and there was hardly any filling. That was disappointing. Now with the bad. The first drink I ever ordered was an iced snickerdoodle latte. It was super sweet and didn't taste anything like snickerdoodle. It tasted like an over processed sbux syrup. I've had a couple of other drinks after that, that were ok. Another huge criticism I have is lack of ice. I would say around 85% of the drinks I've received have little to no ice. A couple of days ago I ordered an iced horchata latte with cinnamon foam. I could immediately tell my drink wasn't mixed. This is another issue I've run into before. The horchata mix was on the bottom, shots of espresso were sitting on top, then the foam. I had to mix it myself and with very little ice. I was kind of annoyed. I'm not sure if that's how they make their drinks? Are we supposed to mix them ourselves? Or is it a short cut? I will continue to give them another chance. I'm hoping these imperfections are a result of being a newer store. read more

First time trying Better Buzz, and it will definitely be my last! The employee working the drive-thru was rude from the moment we ordered. We mentioned it was our first time, and instead of being helpful, she acted irritated that we didn't already know what we wanted. At the window, her attitude got worse. When we paid with cash, she rolled her eyes and walked away. When she brought our drinks in a cup holder and we politely said we didn't need one, she sighed and got visibly annoyed again. When we asked why she was being rude, she told us we were "busy" and said she had already put the drinks in the holder, as if that excused her behavior. This wasn't just a bad moment, it was consistently poor service from start to finish. If this is how first-time customers are treated, I wouldn't recommend going here. read more

The crew has awesome service and really knows how to make their coffee and food shine. The coffee flavors are smooth and comforting, and nothing is overpowered with sugar. What really makes them stand out, though, is the vibe. The music's at the perfect volume, and the baristas are friendly without being overbearing (which it can be at Dutch). But when I got to the window the girl handed me my drink I ordered the buzzed blended white mocha with whipped cream. The drink had no whipped cream so I hands it back saying I ordered with whip, she said no worries starting adding whip on drink when putting the lid on she dropped the drink and half of it fell on counter so she took it back to the Person making the blended telling her add more drink and then put whip cream and she was about to do was top off the drink with the whip cream mindful it was missing half my drink in there. So I told the girl at window was that all she was going to do was add whip cream and not add the rest of the drink I paid for that was on the counter !! She said sorry and had them make it again. I over heard the girl at the blended station say well what does she want !! Very upsetting. Time at the window 5 mins and the all girls were saying well it's not our fault that I was still waiting, making it seem like I did something wrong. When they finally grab me the drink it was a hot mess spilling all over and outside the cup! Definitely won't let this hiccup stop me from trying it again! The service was awful but the drink amazing and the most ominous of as great . Will give it a 3 stars for the rude service I experienced but I really hope to try it again and give a 5 star read more

The people ahead of us mentioned they had already been waiting 45 minutes, which should've been my first red flag. When it was finally my turn, Jimmy took my order, but he couldn't answer basic questions about the drinks. Since it was my first time there, I expected some guidance, but instead his customer service was unhelpful and honestly pretty rude. The red-headed girl working with him wasn't any better -- both employees seemed uninterested and completely disconnected from their customers. They were also out of so many menu items, which was frustrating considering how overpriced the drinks are. And when I got to my car and realized my coffee wasn't even filled up, I knew it was already a lost cause. I just took the L and kept it pushing. We absolutely love Better Buzz Coffee and it has always been a must stop for us whenever we are in San Diego, so finding out that the Inland Empire finally has one is beyond exciting. We have already visited the new Better Buzz Coffee location twice and it has not disappointed. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. On our most recent visit we were helped by Ame and she was fantastic. She recommended the snickerdoodle latte with cinnamon cold foam and it was so delicious and perfectly cozy. They also completely won our hearts by giving our sweet pug the cutest little whipped cream cup with doggie bones. Such a thoughtful touch. Our kids love the smoothies especially my daughter whose favorite is the pink dragon. It turns her tongue a vibrant pink which just adds to the fun and makes it a hit every time. This place is an absolute must visit for coffee lovers and we are so happy to have Better Buzz closer to home now. We cannot wait to go back again soon. read more

As a coffee connoisseur I am always looking to try new spots that aren't Sbucks, Coffee Bean, etc.. I was a little skeptical when I saw the building but I knew they were San Diego based and roast their own beans so I wanted to give them a try. They did NOT disappoint! I usually ask for a "Barista's Choice" and let them make me whatever they want, however they want, and I believe I got the iced horchata latte. It's a very enjoyable drink and the coffee isn't harsh, bitter, or over roasted. It worked VERY well with their house made horchata mixture, and I appreciate the customer service. Only outdoor seating so be prepared to bring a jacket if it's later in the evening, but the seating area is kept very clean and the music adds to the ambiance of sitting out there.
