Meh, it's OK at best. My first time here so I went with the most popular drink, banana pudding best drink ever. Maybe because I make coffee at home I have higher expectations however I will give it another shot but so far I'm not impressed and I wouldn't get this specific drink again. I'm a little hesitant because it's their most popular drink and I wasn't impressed. Was friendly, and from the outside the place looked clean.
The establishment itself is clean, organized, and the drive through runs efficiently, which I really appreciate. The coffee is consistently well made and is the main reason I keep coming back. Unfortunately, the customer service has been very inconsistent. On my first visit, I was told they no longer had a rewards program and didn't need my phone number. On my second visit, another employee asked for my phone number for rewards, apologized for the incorrect information I had been given, and got everything set up. Then on my third visit, they couldn't find my order in the system until another employee stepped in to help. It seems like there may be several new employees still in training. I hope the service becomes more consistent because it would make an already good coffee shop even better. The coffee is a perfect 5/5, but the inconsistent service brings my overall rating down to 4/5.
First time experience was amazing, I drank down my Matcha Best Coconut latte ever so fast!!! The Açaí Bowl was totally different from Jamba Juice! I had more fruit all the way through and at the end I was even left with a strawberry and a banana!!!! So delicious, I will definitely go back through the drive through for more menu items!!!
I ordered via counter as the line was busy via drive thru. I ordered Watermelon Mint Refresher. I got my drink within few minutes. I wished I can change the sweetness. The drink was meh. Friendly staff. Service was fast. Ambiance around the area was clean.
The order was wrong and the matcha drink half the cup. This is not a joke. I have pictures to prove what was delivered to me.
First time at this location & the drive thru moved very quickly! Tried their new vanilla bean oatmilk iced espresso & wasn't a fan. Will be sticking to their vanilla bean latte from now on. Their everything croissant is by far one of my favorite pastries, so good! Will definitely be back to this location

I'd been wanting to try this place for a while. I even downloaded the app, but hadn't been able to try it. Crazily enough, I got a reward offer for a free drink in the app, so what better time to give the place a try? We visited in the evening. There were a couple parties seated outside at their available tables and chairs. There were also several cars in the drive thru. We opted for the drive thru. The place is really cute! The staff were very friendly and helpful! For the free drink, I got a banana matcha and it was delicious! My youngest got the blueberry lavender lemonade refresher with extra blueberries. Hers was probably the best drink we got! My oldest got the prickly in pink mojito energy drink. Hers was good, but they informed me they ran out of whatever makes the drink pink, so it looked a little pale and she was bummed out about that, lol! They have a fairly extensive menu, and I'm already wanting to go back, hopefully to try some food next!

This is my second visit to this location, and I tend to park my car instead of going through the drive thru. There are only four parking spots where you turn into the drive thru, unless you park on the street. I always walk up to the window and there are 6 outdoor tables to sit and hang out. The ordering window is right next to the pick up window. Makes me wonder what it is like when it is raining! The girls who I saw take my order are very busy in the morning with the influx of orders coming from online and drive thru. They are always prepping while making food and drinks. My first time here they weren't as kind, but today's barista was very sweet and took the time to ask me how I'm doing. I ordered the banana best drink ever previously and wasn't a fan. I just normally stick to the best Drink Ever and add the cinnamon cold foam on top for $1. It's sweet with a perfect amount of caffeine. My go to food item is also their chili crisp breakfast wrap! I wish it had sauce to go with it though. Overall, it's nice to have a location close by for when I need a quick coffee going to work. I'm glad this is a quick location.

Great coffee with lots of food and drink options. Pretty busy but service is very friendly! No inside seating, but there is a drive thru! Outside has a walk up counter to order and has some cute outdoor seating options available.
I stopped by Better Buzz Coffee in Upland at 5am since I work early mornings. Unfortunately, I waited a few minutes before being acknowledged by a staff member who had just clocked in, and I did see one other staff member but she didn't seem to pay attention to anyone at the walk up window. Outside tables needed a wipe down but overall I'm certain it's a chill place to hangout and enjoy drinks and food. Music is a bit loud but good and gets the morning going. If you're on a tight schedule like I usually am, I'd definitely recommend placing your order online ahead of time or going through the drive-thru. That seems to be the smoothest option, especially during those early hours. One thing I've noticed is that when I order online, I don't always receive my rewards points, which is a bit frustrating. It would be great if that system was more consistent. Overall, just a heads up for early birds -- order ahead so you're not waiting for service.

It's the new Upland coffee jock and it just knocked all the other coffee shops off the block! When it comes to hours they come through in the clutch, not like Ahem! Those Brothers Dutch. If you're craving that Better Buzz then look no more because this is way nicer than what Starbucks does! I ordered the Mint Infused iced coffee that came with mint, cane sugar and heavy cream and with that first sip my tastebuds knew it was legit. My second drink was their Moroccan Spice Latte that also came with can sugar, cream and a very interesting and tasty spice. Both of the drinks were good but the only gripe I have was the amount in the cup. I kinda felt like after less than ten sips I was done. Man these tariffs are really putting a Not Cool on cool stuff. Came on a Monday morning and this place was popping! I've been to their other locations and was a little disappointed to find out this place didn't have an inside area to hang out. You just walk up to the order window or go to the drive thru which is pretty small. The parking situation is a bit confusing as well. Like any new spot, there will be some hiccups. They need to figure out a better system for calling out drinks because they were getting everyone's orders mixed up. The employees were very nice though and I'm sure they were trying their best given how busy it was. I ordered their Horchata Iced Latte. It was pretty good. Saw that this opened up in my neighborhood and definitely needed to check out this location. I didn't realize that it is a drive thru and walk up window only. There are a few seats in front of the walk up window but no inside seating available. I went to the drive thru on a rainy day. Their staff was out in the rain taking orders from a very long drive thru line. For being outside in the rain, the gal was super nice and helpful with the menu. I got an iced Best Drink Ever and an iced vanilla latte with oat milk. I really liked the drinks. The latte was creamier than the Best Drink Ever. I wanted to try their toasted marshmallow but it was sold out. I'll definitely go back and try for that again some other time. I also ordered an almond croissant and it was yum! Not me hoping that the hype dies down cuz I obviously want them to stay but hoping for shorter lines so that I can enjoy this yummy new coffee shop in the neighborhood with more ease (though they do a great job of moving the long line as quickly as they can). read more

Had to come and check out what the hype was about. Went on a Sunday around 12:15pm and the place was buzzin' (get it?) Tons of people had the same idea as us, but the workers handled it all pretty well! We walked up and probably waited about 15 min for 2 drinks and 2 food items. I will say, the drive through situation is definitely going to upset a lot of people. They have overflow cars waiting along the residential street and blocking traffic coming in and out, so not ideal. Now to the good stuff. The food and drinks. Drinks: we got 2 of the "best drinks ever", one with regular sweetness and one 1/2 sweet. Both were very good! Sweetness of the regular one was about an 8/10 and the half sweet was like a 6/10. Smooth, creamy, would 100% get again. Food: we got a Chili Crunch breakfast wrap and a Brie and Turkey croissant (seasonal I think). The chili crunch wrap was ordered without ham, but even with the ham, I don't know if this could be saved haha. Maybe you can substitute bacon? Overall, the wrap was pretty lackluster. Flavor was OOOKAY, but the crunch wasn't there. Just tasted like flavored mush in a bland wrap. The turkey croissant was a mix of emotions. The croissant was perfectly cooked, the brie cheese was very creamy and delicious, but only 2 small slices of turkey left a lot to be desired. Will not be getting the wrap again, but will try out something else next time. Price: our total was almost $37 after a small tip. The drinks are worth the price, but the food items were really hard to justify unfortunately at roughly $10 each. read more

The reason I gave them 2 stars was solely on the great customer service that the person had that was taking my order. Now for my order i would give negative stars if I could! I ordered feta avocado deluxe toast and a large best drink ever with an extra add shot! The toast was not toast it was a soggy piece of bread with avocado and messing fixings on top! With the avocado the bread just got even more soggy, definitely not appetizing. The coffee was an iced coffee but since they only added about 3 iced cubes it turned out to be a warm coffee. After fasting and visiting a local lab for a blood draw, I was starving and weak from lack of caffeine. Happy to see a Better Buzz right down the street so I made my way over to get my buzz on. Not going to lie, seeing a security guard and orange road cones right at the entrance kind of threw me, but I drove in anyway without stopping. Hopefully, security is there just to direct traffic rather than stop coffee fighting. There are very limited parking spaces if you plan to use the walk up window. I counted 8 total I believe including the disabled parking. This can be tricky with the DoorDash peeps coming and going. There is also limited seating outside, but as long as people don't camp out there to do homework or office work, you should be able to find a seat to enjoy your drink and maybe some fumes from the drive thru. The drink menu is huge. Drinks are available hot or cold, and their food menu is impressive for a small coffee stop. Because I am a boring coffee drinker, I almost want to come moreso for the food than drink. All kinds of bowls, breakfast sammies, yummy sounding toasts, pastries, etc. My order was a hot Hazelnut Divinity (a white chocolate mocha with hazelnut) and a chili crunch breakfast wrap. The drink was tasty, but as usual a bit too sweet for my liking. I drank half and saved the rest for later. Sugar free options here would be a bonus, but next time I should just stick with a basic espresso or Americano. The wrap was delicious. However, I would like some extra chili crunch. Next time! We love our Upland Better Buzz! We just came back from another trip to SD and of course stopped at other Buzz locations, but none compare to our small but mighty one here in our city. Whoever does the hiring for this location should get kudos because customer service here is always top notch! Today Hayley helped us at the drive thru and she went above and beyond. She was conversational and got us the latest sticker I've been looking forward too. It wasn't just about handing us coffee. She was smiling and just like others there, actually enjoying her day at work and it shows. I wanted to give it a try , best item to test at a coffee place black coffee. I chose the dark roast it is not burned or excessively bitter it was hot , I won't say it is the burst I have had it is an equal to Dutch brothers. But if you are not getting syrup, milks, and whipped cream it is a bit underwhelming. The store offers both walk up and drive thru service and a small patio . Service was moderate. I ordered a large black coffee payed, and was ask my name . I joined the queue at pick up ( I don't expect to be prioritized by simplicity. After watching people who arrived after I had pick up orders I approached the window and inquired. I was ask if I received my coffee at the other window. Unlikely I would be standing here if I had . Waited an other moment and my coffee was in hand . May try again but not in a hurry. read more

I've been wanting to check out this location ever since I visited another spot from this chain in Laguna Beach, so I was super excited to finally try it out. Overall, I'm glad I came to see what the hype was about. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't any indoor seating, but they do offer outdoor seating, which would be perfect during the summer months. They also have a drive thru, but I ordered from the outdoor window. I ordered the Better Breakfast Sandwich, and it was really good. I also tried the vanilla bean latte, but unfortunately, I didn't really care for the way it tasted at this location. The service was friendly, and I was surprised by how busy it was at 8am! Better Buzz is so yummy! First time ever trying it during their opening week! Everyone there was so nice and the line went by quick. Worst customer service ever. I placed 2 staggered take away orders online. All together I spent $40.00. The ladies were rude and did not make the orders right. My iced matcha was HOT! I asked for the garlic aioli sauce on the side. They ignored and disregarded my preferences. I had to ask for a bag and the gal acted like she might break a finger nail if she were to open the bag for me. I do not know how they manage to keep their employment status. This is the last thing that I want or need to deal with after working 12 hours overnight at the hospital with folks on life support! This was my FIRST and LAST time to ever visit this location. Save your hard working money and spend it elsewhere! read more

I've been wanting to try this place for the longest time, and it definitely did not disappoint! I ordered the banana iced pudding coffee with an extra shot of espresso (I love my coffee strong), and it was absolutely delicious. The cashier was very friendly and took her time answering all my questions since it was my first visit. We came here because the buzz is all over TikTok. Not worth the hype. The coffee was ok. Nothing worth the $7 price point. The Banana Best Drink ever was really sweet. We ordered 2 Acai Bowls. One came out right away and was already half melted. Then we had to keep asking for our other one. The workers kept forgetting about it. When we finally got it, it was melted. So nasty!!!! Never coming back again. Nobody seemed to care about how our food was. Trash cans were both over flowing. Yuck. We got the feel that the workers had zero customer service skills. Great service, staff is wonderful! Coffee is good, nothing special, I've had the best drink ever which shouldn't be called that - it was just ok! Think Starbucks level coffee and drinks, nothing special not bad, just ok. But the food is why I can't give it higher than a 3. The feta cheese had no taste, like literally. The avocado spread was not seasoned at all, there was NO FLAVOR! No taste! Don't get be started on the ciabatta sandwich - I think we took two bites because the bread was SO HARD it was uncomfortable to eat. I would recommend a coffee but don't get the food - $10 each item and not worth it at all. read more
