Had to come and check out what the hype was about. Went on a Sunday around 12:15pm and the place was buzzin' (get it?) Tons of people had the same idea as us, but the workers handled it all pretty well! We walked up and probably waited about 15 min for 2 drinks and 2 food items. I will say, the drive through situation is definitely going to upset a lot of people. They have overflow cars waiting along the residential street and blocking traffic coming in and out, so not ideal. Now to the good stuff. The food and drinks. Drinks: we got 2 of the "best drinks ever", one with regular sweetness and one 1/2 sweet. Both were very good! Sweetness of the regular one was about an 8/10 and the half sweet was like a 6/10. Smooth, creamy, would 100% get again. Food: we got a Chili Crunch breakfast wrap and a Brie and Turkey croissant (seasonal I think). The chili crunch wrap was ordered without ham, but even with the ham, I don't know if this could be saved haha. Maybe you can substitute bacon? Overall, the wrap was pretty lackluster. Flavor was OOOKAY, but the crunch wasn't there. Just tasted like flavored mush in a bland wrap. The turkey croissant was a mix of emotions. The croissant was perfectly cooked, the brie cheese was very creamy and delicious, but only 2 small slices of turkey left a lot to be desired. Will not be getting the wrap again, but will try out something else next time. Price: our total was almost $37 after a small tip. The drinks are worth the price, but the food items were really hard to justify unfortunately at roughly $10 each. read more

The outside is so cute and it would be so nice to sit there one day and have my drink. The drinks I have tried and loved so far are the Iced Bear Claw Best Drink Ever and the Iced Matcha Latte. I've been wanting to check out this location ever since I visited another spot from this chain in Laguna Beach, so I was super excited to finally try it out. Overall, I'm glad I came to see what the hype was about. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't any indoor seating, but they do offer outdoor seating, which would be perfect during the summer months. They also have a drive thru, but I ordered from the outdoor window. I ordered the Better Breakfast Sandwich, and it was really good. I also tried the vanilla bean latte, but unfortunately, I didn't really care for the way it tasted at this location. The service was friendly, and I was surprised by how busy it was at 8am! Even with a few small dislikes, I'm still happy I stopped by and gave it a try. read more

I've heard good things about better buzz so decided to check it out with the hubby yesterday afternoon. I saw that they had their newest spring line out and ordered two lavender Matcha lattes. They were very delicious and on top of that. We also tried the Matcha white chocolate chip cookie, which was very yummy and tasted fresh. Our barista Haley was amazing! I first tried Better Buzz Coffee at their Carlsbad location. A friend of mine hyped up the best drink ever so that's what i ordered and i instantly fell in love! So when i heard we were getting one in Upland- i was so excited! this location is just as good and still lives up to the hype. i will say- the prices for the food could be a tad bit cheaper- but the coffee is well worth it! Food- i get the Delux Avo Toast, add bacon and arugula, salt and pepper, if i'm feeling fancy and up to paying for it. haha! it never disappoints. Coffee- I usually order the Best Drink Ever, 1/2 sweet with extra ice. *chef's kiss! i haven't had one bad experience at this location. employees are super friendly and helpful. the drive thru line is actually not that bad! service is pretty quick. parking isn't the best if you decided to 'dine in' but you can always park along the street and walk up. Tables are clean and wifi is good. Def one of my go to places when i need a solid pick me up! read more

I ordered the banana iced pudding coffee with an extra shot of espresso (I love my coffee strong), and it was absolutely delicious. The cashier was very friendly and took her time answering all my questions since it was my first visit. Great service, staff is wonderful! Coffee is good, nothing special, I've had the best drink ever which shouldn't be called that - it was just ok! Think Starbucks level coffee and drinks, nothing special not bad, just ok. But the food is why I can't give it higher than a 3. The feta cheese had no taste, like literally. The avocado spread was not seasoned at all, there was NO FLAVOR! No taste! Don't get be started on the ciabatta sandwich - I think we took two bites because the bread was SO HARD it was uncomfortable to eat. I don't understand the hype at all. I'm a big time coffee and expresso drinker trying all different brands, plus my own machine at home. Overpriced, over sweet, very mild coffee drinks. I ordered a large (16 oz) Hazelnut and my wife, a 12 oz plain latte. She actually thought they forgot the coffee in hers and as it was just slightly coffee flavored milk. My Hazelnut was supposed to have 3 shot, but no way. It was very mild and super sweet.
