Coffee 5 Service 5 Ambiance 5. I was in the area having my car serviced and the shop recommended Better Buzz Coffee. It did not disappoint!

Jared greeted us in the drive thru. And, his personality was bubbly. Felt welcome. Excited to try the best coffee banana pudding latte.

We came in to try this place because we'd not seen this coffee spot before. From the start this place was inefficient. They have 2 drive thru lanes which seems like it will be quicker, but we got into the left and no one inside ever took our order. They had a lady outside helping the right lane so 2 cars helped in that lane and 5-6 min later then we got help ordering. We got the Hazelnut Divinity and the Blue Raspberry Energy Drink. When better buzz opened I was static because I absolutely loved it when I was in California years ago, I completely dropped Starbucks for a while but now lately I have to say I'm going back to it because better buzz seems off. Had a great honey latte & scone here. Tom took my order and was very kind and personable. He was helpful when I asked about different menu items. Prices were reasonable and the overall ambience was good. I studied here for a couple hours, only critique was that the wifi was a little slow but it may have been because I sat on the patio. The shift lead that took my order was being very passive aggressive and made it seem like it was an inconvenience to help me. I went in through the drive through asking about the drink that was most similar to a cookies and cream flavor. She couldn't give me a specific drink, and said there was only a foam available. I was confused because I had gotten a blended drink here previously that was cookies and cream flavor at another location. She wasn't being helpful when I had explained that I was confused and just rushed me to my total and to go to the window. I drive up and the transaction runs normal until she's about the close the window she states," I hope your day gets better" This was rude. There was no reason for her to assume that I was in a bad mood or anything of the sorts when I did nothing but ask questions about what is on the menu. I pull around and come inside. I asked for HRs number or a managers name and she just says the manager will be in tomorrow and that she's "doesn't have to give anything out" and she proceeds to mock me with hand movements and states "you can look it up and get out or i'm gonna call the cops on you" and then proceeds to "shoo" me out with her hands. I wasn't making a scene. I told her there was no need for her to be aggressive with me and she just runs into the back leaving her barista on the floor. I was astonished by the idea of a SHIFT supervisor behaving like this and setting up a bad example for the other employee who had witnessed this all. I left shaking and began to cry in the car due to how mean and how uncomfortable she made me feel. I did not come at her in any type of threatening way. All I wanted was to redeem my birthday drink. read more

I'm from San Diego, so I love Better Buzz! The prices are much better than typical coffee shops and have stronger flavors. Kennedy was my barista today and was so high energy and sweet, all while handling the heat outside. A trooper! I've never had a bad experience at this location. My only complaint is that it can get a bit busy inside. read more

Went for a London fog tea, but wanted to go somewhere with more food options so I decided to come here. Person over the intercom was impossible to understand while taking my order. They don't have Earl Grey tea, but when I asked, they told me OK and then proceeded to not tell me they didn't have it until the end of the order. So I decided not to get it and just get a sandwich after waiting in line and pulling up to the window. She tells me that they had just run out of tomatoes. It was a Caprese sandwich. I was waiting patiently in the drive through just now to order. I get to the order menu , the lady greets me and says she will be with me in a moment. Then proceeds to take the order of three cars that pulled in after me. One car I can chalk it up and not care but three cars. Not acceptable. If you're running a split drive through figure out how to run it properly and don't take three consecutive orders from one side of the drive through as it's they split the line in two. I don't normally leave reviews but I was just so grateful for the great customer service here. I ordered an Americano and sandwich, I ended up not liking the Americano so I went back and they exchanged it for me, no questions asked, no hesitation, I didn't have to explain myself, or anything. Literally the fastest, most pleasant experience I've had with exchanging anything. I'm so grateful for the sweet customer service which is not easily found nowadays. Drove by on a Saturday morning around 8:30am, service was okay, speed of service was okay. But once we received our drinks. One was not even half full which we order a large latte , second drink was okay different latte, once we got home we tasted our drinks and they tasted so bad no one in my family wanted it the second drink tasted and smelled like rotten milk .
