I love the way they've decorated the space, especially the lighting. It's very vibey! I had the horchata cafe and also tried the La Lechera coffee, iced. Both were 10/10! I also grabbed a guava danish that was absolutely mouthwatering. I asked the barista for recommendations and got such a genuine response. Everything was wonderful, and the service was quick! I wouldn't necessarily say this is a place to bring your laptop and work, but it's definitely a great spot to gather with loved ones and connect. They also sell ice cream and gelato, which looked delicious! Overall, such a cute and cozy spot. I'll definitely be back!

I love the chill vibe and dog-friendly atmosphere that they create. Every location is unique in its own way. This North Phoenix OHSO has a Little O's market attached to it and sits along the Arizona Canal Trail bike path on Central Avenue. It is a convenient place to stop by if you are riding a bike or going for a run along the canal. I came here with a group of friends to celebrate some birthdays. It was my first visit to this OHSO location because I don't get to the Sunnyslope part of the Valley very often. OHSO & Little O's North Central has only been open for a couple of years and resides in an old historic building. It took them some time to renovate the place before they opened. OHSO makes their own beer and distills their own spirits. They also have a full food menu. The Little O's market has grab-in-go food and offers breakfast, donuts and coffee in the morning. We came here during the later part of summer. My Summertime cucumber vodka cocktail was the perfect drink for the hot summers that we have to endure here in AZ. The Ensalada Del Sol was my main entrée for the evening and was tasty. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing evening here at OHSO.

The space itself is beautiful, the staff explained the options counter versus table when I walked in, and there isn't super loud music making it great to work or study. I had fresh squeezed orange juice which was super reasonably priced, I feel like most places charge around $8 and it was $5. There is a service staff that comes and checks on you and brought water to our table and cleared it off. For food, we split the Reuben. The portion was perfect for 2 for us. I honestly didn't even think I liked Reuben's but my friend wanted it and I would definitely eat this again. We ordered 2 lattes to try, Caramel and pumpkin. We preferred the caramel to be fair I'm more of a cold brew girl (because I don't love milk) but they were out this day. Overall this is a great space. They also offer cocktails but I didn't try one. The exterior yells tax attorney but inside we were welcomed by the modern greenery and natural light as we walked through the corridors. These luxury office spaces have glass walls, high end fixtures and beautiful soaring ceilings. In the middle of this building Mark Tarbell has "cultivated" a gourmet menu of coffees, alcoholic beverages, breakfast and lunch bites. After scanning the QR code on our table top, we placed our orders and paid. The gentleman at the bar was attentive and kindly answered our questions-even my nerdy inquiry about the food items. "Were they prepared prior or at a commissary?" He replied "No. All the food is made fresh on site in the full kitchen just down the hall." While sitting and taking in the pretty skylights, I noticed other patrons working on their laptops in the elevated seating area. Some conversing with others including Mark Tarbell, himself! Am I ever happy that we picked the grilled steak burrito for $19 and the in house made potato chips and dill dip for $8. I loved the generous portion of juicy steak with charred tomatoes, arugula and potatoes. The wild mushrooms and caramelized onion perfected the taste for what was the best beef burrito for me! The potatoes were cubed to a perfect ratio. Not too large where other places have big chunks of the starch that dominates sections of the wrap. Not too shabby was the fresh cooked kennebec potato chips and tasty dip. The chips were a bit greasy but still crisp and the dill dip was tasty. I ordered a cortado with oat milk and it was outstanding. Past experiences at other bistros have left me in doubt when ordering a coffee beverage but I loved my velvety smooth cortado here! Delicious! Perhaps I can work on Yelp reviews while dining again at this chic place! Tip-Presently, Cultivate is only open on weekdays.

Fantastic Atmosphere and Workspace in Midtown, but Mind the Peak Hours…read more My friend and I visited this cafe on a mid-week afternoon looking for a productive spot to get some remote work done, and it proved to be an excellent choice. Logistically, midtown traffic in this area is a well-known hurdle, but the dedicated parking lot located directly behind the building makes arriving by car much easier. Inside, the design and atmosphere are an absolute vibe. The mismatched furniture, abundance of indoor plants, and view of the green canopy outside provide a perfect, refreshing escape from the summer heat. The menu is varied and high-quality. I ordered a matcha latte, which was excellent and refreshing, while my friend opted for a lunch sandwich and a latte. For true coffee enthusiasts, they also sell specialty house-roasted coffee beans retail, including a Guatemalan Antigua and another select house blend. The lounge offers plenty of comfortable seating tailored for focus and productivity. While the pricing is slightly higher than your average coffee shop, the exceptional atmosphere and amenities justify the cost. One quick tip for remote workers: The environment shifts noticeably after 4:00 PM. The space can become quite loud with patrons taking phone calls or conducting 1-on-1 meetings at adjacent tables. If you plan to work through the late afternoon, I highly recommend bringing a pair of noise-canceling headphones to remain undisturbed.

Some of the drinks are genuinely great, but it's a gamble. When a drink misses, it misses hard. Honestly, the taste leans more matcha shop than coffee shop, so if you're a coffee purist, stick to the classics and save the experiments for a day you're feeling brave. The staff are a gamble too. Some of the baristas have been wonderful: friendly, chatty, and great at steering me toward something I ended up loving. Then there was the time I got scolded for grabbing the "wrong" drink, which turned out to be the one I'd ordered. The vibe: Big windows keep the space bright but still cozy, which makes it a lovely spot to settle in. The music is either missing or so low it lands in that awkward zone where you can hear everyone's conversation. The layout is a bit congested up front around the counter and pickup area, but once you get past it, there's plenty of roomy seating. Bottom line: There's a lot of potential here, and the good days are really good. A little more consistency in the drinks and the service would make this a five-star spot. After a hiatus, I plan on coming back. Fingers crossed for a good-barista day!
