For example this morning I spilled my coffee in my car( two cups) came back in the store to re-order and pay, but all the staff was really nice, and would not let me pay for my coffee. Lots of fun and everyone was very helpful and super efficient. If you are a fan of drip coffee, this is not your place. I'm not sure if the roast is actually that tasteless, they made it incredibly weak or they just never rebrewed (ordered around noon) but for a place that calls themselves coffee roasters, their titular offering was a serious disappointment. WHOLEY smokes this Better Buzz is my favorite location. I mean, let me tell you!! I walked in and was immediately greeted by three lovely young ladies who took my order and made my drink like lickety split. Speedy gonzalez back there FOR REAL. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a bright place to get work done. The yellow walls and neon sinage REALLY helped me reach flow state. so groovy!! Good coffee, they have the lamarzoco machine. Only complaint is the music is quite loud and lively. When I think of coffee shops, I think of calmer music for people to work and study to. But even when noise cancelling headphones I think it was a bit much. read more

I have been enjoying Better Buzz for years when I lived in San Diego. I am absolutely thrilled that they have finally moved into Orange County. The location in Costa Mesa is fantastic- i love the layout of the shop and it is in a great spot. As someone really limited with what they can drink, I love the options they offer: my favorite is their chai latte, particularly because they, like few other coffee shops, offer coconut milk! I also appreciate that they offer sweetness customization options. Another great consideration they make for those with food sensitivity is the gluten free donuts are specially wrapped to protect customers from any cross contamination. The staff is consistently friendly and very patient- regardless of how busy they are. read more

Went for the first time recently and had iced chai latte that was absolutely amazing. I'm picky about chai and don't like it when it's kinda spicy but this one was perfect. It didn't tasted watered down at all. The barista was so kind and when I said it was my first time they offered recommendations and answered any questions I had. Drinks are fine, they have Wi-Fi, but no power outlets if you want a spot to sit and get work done.
