Hit this spot for lunch yesterday and its a great spot close to my office. Its been on my radar a while and one of my sons favorite spots. Massive parking lot with plenty of space, the place had a nice lay out with tables big and small all around. Menu is bigger than I thought, my son always gets tortas here, I went with the taquito's combo and a watermelon agua. 100% hit the spot. Cool little salsa bar but my taquito combo was loaded and had everything I needed. Excellent agua too. Place was pretty buzy with lots of take-out orders and almost full inside. I still found seating fast and my food was out quick too. Im looking forward to coming back and trying more options and one of the many great looking tortas my son suggested. read more

Hi Everyone, I don't write many Yelp reviews. This review is for your own safety: My girlfriend has been eating here for years and loved it. We had lunch at Cancun Juice on Sat. 2/14/26. We both got food poisoning later that day: We both shared a Virus Fighter juice and ate the same thing: Veggie burrito without cheese or crema. Our burritos contained: rice, beans, avocado, raw spinach (why do they do that?) We also ate the salsas. She ate 1/2 her burrito and got 1/2 as sick as me. I ate the full burrito and was VERY sick for the entire night and next day. I was so sick I had to miss my friend's memorial service on 2/15. HUge disappointment. First time trying this place since a friend raved about it. Carne asasa burrito was dry and bland. Overcooked and barely any meat in the burrito. Not worth the $11 (no add ons either). I really enjoy the food at this restaurant -- it's consistently delicious and fresh, and the menu has great variety. Unfortunately, the music is always very loud when I visit. Writing this review on Veteran's Day, 11/11/2024 at 3:00 pm (making sure the right person gets the credit). She was wearing a blue shirt with embroidery that said "management", I think. She helped us at the cashier, made sure our order was exactly how we wanted it (my boyfriend doesn't eat spicy food, onions, etc.). Extremely nice, friendly, attentive, and helpful. I went back to the counter to ask for green sauce and she requested the warmed up salsa that was the perfect thing for my huarache, all with the best smile. Her customer service is outstanding. The rest of the staff that we interacted with was very nice too. A young man lowered the window screen exactly where I wanted it because I wanted sunlight but not on my eyes. Obviously, if he had closed it completely or left it up I wouldn't have said anything, but the fact that he asked was very nice. I ordered 2 asada tortas for my wife to pick up for my lunch at work. I had half of it now and saving half for later on my shift. Finished half of it and not going to lie had maybe max 5 little pieces of meat. Paid $24 and change for 2 and to be made with no meat. I really don't know where to start. This was by far one of the worst Customer Service experiences that I've had. I ordered a steak burrito and after I received it, I asked them if I can have sauce to make my burrito "wet". The lady said she can have the cook just place the burrito in a to-go container and just add the sauce to it for me. He added the sauce and some sour cream to the burrito. She said she has to charge me the difference because she made my burrito "wet". I assumed it would be a couple dollars but she charged me a whole six dollars. I didn't think anything of it and paid the six dollars but afterwards I went online to see how much it should be when it's wet and it would only be two dollars extra. After I told her that you charged me an extra $4 dollars, she said, "there's no button on the cash register for making it "wet" so I have to charge you an extra $6 for salsa and sour cream ($4 for salsa verde and $2 for drizzle of sour cream). She literally indirectly told me she is ripping me off! I asked to talk to the manager and apparently he was standing there the whole time and just looked down and she said it was his idea. It gets worst. Steak burrito that I ordered literally had like three small pieces of steak and the rest was literally tortilla and some beans and lettuce. It was the smallest burrito I've ever had. Wasn't even good. The girl was rude and smug. The manager was soooo bad at his job. HORRIBLE customer service. if I could give zero stars I would. My family and I do enjoy there food and how fresh it is especially their drinks but please read repeat your order to them before placing it. When I placed my order is said clearly...torta: breaded steak, two orders of taquitos with the lettuce tomatoes and cheese on the side with rice and beans all for here. When I got my order One order of taquitos was to go and the other one was for here with everything on the side but one was missing the tomato's and for one strange reason there was avocado sauce on the side, which we did not ask for. My order of breaded steak was misinterpreted as a Asada because she heard the word steak. When I got my order, I tried to explain to her that that's not what I ordered then she said you said asada and I said yes, breaded steak she heard the word steak and assumed just asada and she still would not except my return. Since she would not except it I had to eat it which I told her before leaving I did not like it. I paid pretty much $40 with tip for a wrong meal, one of my children's meals to go and the other one here with random sauce on the side and one missing it's tomato's. Service, good service, is a rare thing especially at this Costa Mesa location. Skimping on protein choice in tortas, nachos. Replacing fruit with ice in the chamoyadas too many times. Even tho staff go beyond to take care with orders, it ends there. This last time was the worst, ordering three food items plus two drinks, we collected the food but waited 20 minutes for the drinks. Only to be told "order was complete you didn't come up for the drinks. Drinks were put in freezer to keep cold" when we asked about them. We were visiting from San Diego and chose to eat here about 8:30 pm. Place was cute inside and we dined in. The food was delicious. Mexicano torta, flan, platanos Fritos, mangonada and a berry smoothie. I ordered the Virus fighter and asked if it was a smoothie or a juice (their menu is confusing) and she said it's normally a juice but they can turn it into a smoothie. I told her I would like that. After receiving my drink it's clear they put way too much ice and didn't make it right. It's really watery and sour and has no flavor, just tastes like sour ice. I asked if I could change to a different flavor or order it the way it normally comes as a juice and she refused to make me something different. She said did we not make it right or you just don't like it? Um both. She said since we didn't make it wrong you have to pay for another drink if you want something different.
