The nail tech proceeded to tell me that I had done something wrong. I asked him to please remove the polish and put new polish on. He refused to do so saying that he was just going to put the top coat on and it would magically look better. I asked him again to please remove the polish. I had to ask him a third time to remove the bumpy bubbly polish. After removing the polish I no longer had time to stay and have the manicure redone. I told him I would return the next day to have the gel manicure finished. While speaking to the person at the checkout, he proceeded to come up to the checkout and began to yell about me to her in front of the entire salon. What a horrible experience.

Upon entering, I was greeted by the manager and advised that I wanted a manicure with gel polish. Sofi provided my service. During the first several minutes, she repeatedly tried to persuade me to switch to acrylic or SNS, despite my clearly and consistently stating that I did not want those services. Additionally, she appeared frustrated when I changed my mind about my polish color. As a customer, I believe I have the right to adjust my color choice--especially when the original color was not fully available or sealed. What was most concerning was that Sofi began speaking about me to the manager in their language during my service. I understood the conversation and had to address both of them directly, advising that it was inappropriate to discuss me while my manicure was still in progress. This was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. Although I paid and tipped, I will not be returning. I hope this serves as a reminder for the business to be mindful of how they speak about customers--especially since you never know who may understand the language.
