I had a great experience and I'm glad I called Best Locksmith. He gave a good price and did a good job and I'm satisfied and able to recommend him to anyone who needs a Locksmith. He was on time and professional. read more

Our old lock gave out and we were looking for a locksmith to repair it. Eli showed up within 24 hours of my initial call and tried every way to save me money. First he took everything apart and tried to make the old lock work. The lock was beyond repair and slowly deteriorated over time, which was expected. Eli installed a new lock and now the door opens and closes smoothly without the lock clipping the door. Quick, reliable, and reasonable prices. The evaluation and install took 45-60 minutes. read more

Eli was by far the most responsive when I put out a locksmith quote using Yelp's platform. He also happened to have earlier availability that matched my schedule. To change 3 locks was $550. This was on the higher side of my quotes, but again, in my case, his reliability was key. No pun intended! read more

Wow, we are just baffled and amused by the lack of professionalism of this business and the persistent gas-lighting. What legitimate business charges customers $250 for a $150 service (Basic Service Charge: $29.00; Unlocking and opening the Door: $121.00) while blaming customers for misunderstanding? We no longer needed the high-security lock given the technician's abysmal service and the damage to our door. The pictures speak louder than words. If those were your doors, would you be happy with the work? You should work on training your technicians rather than blaming customers for misunderstanding while cashing their checks. read more

Very reliable. Prompt service. Price was very reasonable. In Riverdale other companies wanted to charge a lot more. He was very flexible with my schedule as I had to change 2x, for work related issues. He was on time and explained how everything worked as new appliances can become overwhelming. Would def recommend for future use. Very personable as well. read more

Great service. Great Value .. Honest people.. No worries. I recommend them to anyone who needs a great locksmith

Ok I had to get the lock changed over Christmas. As you know most lock smiths are unable to work on Christmas. I am in the east end of the Bronx all the way in the east Bronx. So he came all the way from the gar west of the Bronx very quickly. I got a regular lock changed as well as a MulTLock which is more complex for a more fair price than the majority of locksmiths in my neighborhood. I would definitely recommend that you call Best Locksmith for all your lock and key needs. Whether it's rain or shine just like the post office they are there. read more

Zazu is very efficient and responsive - in a crunch those are best qualities to have! Awesome locksmith and guy too :)

Very fast and efficient locksmith service for a lockout. He arrived within minutes of calling and very much appreciated the help.

My key got stuck in the cylinder on a Sunday morning. Best locksmith came within 20 mins., fixed the problem, utilized the hardware that was on my door and didn't try to invent an imaginary problem to make a profit. read more

Highly recommend this professional locksmith. Very organized, on time and very patient. He can service any lock known it appears, from front gates to house locks. I had to service a lock on the front door of my private house and he came when he said he would come and repaired it very fast all while in CDC compliance due to the Pandemic. He does not try to push more expensive solutions but rather showed me a cheaper solution and let me decide. Prices are very fair. He is my go-to guy now and you should not be disappointed. read more

I had a postive experience with AM PM's service. The door was jamed, and I started calling at 9:00am (not the ungodly hour at which I found myself stuck) At first I tried a company with high yelp rating, they did not return call within 20 minutes as promised on the website (I waited a full hour before I called AM PM). The guy at AM PM responded within 15 minutes of my call. He was a little late for the job and didn't wear uniform or drive a company vehicle so at first I was a little skeptical. But he did a good job and was very friendly. He offered a 3 month warranty for his handiwork, promised me that he'd come back if the installation produced any problem at all. The fact that he was the only locksmith that answered my call deserved a 5 star already. I did have to pay a few hundreds for the service plus material but I think the other companies would have charged about the same, if not more. read more

Had an issue with my lock that caused me to be locked out of my apartment. I called and Eli arrived quickly in 10 minutes! He had all his tools with him and was able to figure out the problem fairly easily. After some handling, he was able to get me in my apartment and fixed my lock in no time. He also gave us a guarantee on the replacement lock, if anything went wrong he would come and fix it. I highly recommend Eli if you ever need a locksmith! read more

I was so lucky to have found Eli. I randomly searched on google. I called him and he showed up a half hour later to fix my lock. He was so kind and understanding of the situation. He replaced my lock quickly and made what was a stressful situation seem like a very easy task. The best part about my story(sort of) I locked myself out of my home two days later. Of course I contacted Eli and he responded to my text with in seconds and came same day. Eli was professional, efficient, responsive and had great integrity for his work. Also the locks were of exceptional quality. read more

Showed up when stated, job was quick and essential. As a business owner, I have a happy to say best lock smith saved the day!

After moving into a new apartment with two doors (front and back) I realized that both of the lock mechanisms were shot. Several locksmiths told me that both would have to be completely replaced, and that the original pre-war brass plates could not be salvaged and would have to be replaced with cheap new plates from China. However, after my super recommended Best Locksmith NY, I called them and am so happy I did. Eli was able to completely overhaul both locks, saving the beautiful exterior hardware, but completely replacing the interior mechanisms. Not only is he an extremely skilled technician that accomplished something that several other locksmiths could not, but he was also prompt, well-priced, honest, and extremely professional. I cannot recommend him more highly! read more

After finding myself locked out of my apartment, I googled locksmiths and found AM-PM. Being a single female who lives alone, naturally I was concerned that I would be over-charged and taken advantage of. I called and spoke to a very pleasant receptionist who put my fears at ease and assured me I was in good hands. A mere 15 minutes later, a locksmith was at my door. He too was very pleasant. My building is really old so he struggled a bit with the lock, but he did not lift his head up until the job was done. The fee I paid seemed extremely reasonable and later when I looked up average prices, I discovered it was on the low end of the spectrum. I don't usually do reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one. I was pleasantly surprised at the service and professionalism displayed. I've already set up another appointment to change my ancient locks. This time I have no worries that I'm using the right company. read more
