The product I ordered said "PRO Galaxy Series" in the online description, but I received a box that said "Coretec Original" I called Coretec and they confirmed "Pro" and "Original" are two different product lines made from different materials. Holding them side by side they feel different in your hands and are different shades as well (although both considered "elliptical oak"). Best Laminate insists this is not an error on their part and it is just made in different places. I was trying to match the "Pro" flooring I have. Nowhere on the online listing does it say the word "Original", but it does say "Pro". I feel this was an error on their part. I did not order a swatch because it said "Pro" and the number/color matched. They are allowing me to return it, but I do have to pay shipping both ways which will come out to be about $300-400. This was a huge hit for me being a single mom of 3 already having to pay for the floor restoration after a water leak. PLEASE order a sample before buying from them to be sure that it matches. I would honestly check your local stores rather than order from Best Laminate. Basically what I've learned is that you don't have to go to stores like home Depot or Lowe's to get supplies. He find out where the tradesman go and take their advice. I was looking for a click lock laminate flooring solution for my basement. Our friends who flip houses told us to go to best laminate and see Remy. Best advice to date. We chose a barnwood plank flooring that is a click lock flooring that installs very easily and the only tools you need is a speed square rubber mallet and razor knife. although we did have a contractor install the flooring in our basement I had three boxes left over and we decided to use those boxes to replace the flooring in our walk-in closet which was carpeted. after watching a YouTube video and throwing out the instructions the install went very quickly. The laminate once scored snaps easily and with a zip of a razor knife cleans up beautifully. We even did some custom cutting with a jigsaw anyway I needed a solution for a transition from tile to the laminate flooring and went back to best laminate. They looked up the type of flooring I bought a year ago and found the transition solution that would best fit my application. they even threw in a couple shims wish they knew I would have to use. Overall I found that the price of flooring was a little bit more than half of what I would have spent at home Depot which is a really good bargain. And it is the exact same stuff. Very happy with the laminate I chose for my upstairs flooring. My installer said that the laminate was thin on the click sides and often would break when attaching it to the other pieces but the finished look is exceptional. I'm happy with it and am glad we bought 10% extra to adjust for the broken pieces due to installation. read more

I wanted Red Spalted Hickory laminate flooring and no one local had it, so I did a search and best laminate came up. I was very happy with the customer service I received ( thanks Brandon) and I received my floor in great time. I live on the Susquehanna River and have a cabiney feel house so I wanted something rustic. I took my time as I am 59 years old. It took me 3 weekends. Once I figured out a few things it went well, cutting was pretty easy with a utility knife and cut off tool. It looks so AMAZING and everyone who sees it cannot believe how beautiful it is. In December, our new home in West Summerlin was near completion. The flooring we selected, a luxury vinyl plank (LVP), was sitting out in Long Beach Harbor on a container ship and we were forced by the builder to select an alternative flooring, which we did. We selected COREtec Pro Plus Nicola Oak, which we actually liked much better than our initial selection. The builder obtained the new material and began installing it to end up declaring the material was "defective". They ripped it all up and ordered replacement material from the same vendor in California where they had gotten the defective LVP. Guess what? They started installing it and decided, it too was defective and insisted we select yet a third flooring choice. After some research, I located a vendor in Ohio called Best Laminate who had sufficient quantity of our Nicola Oak in stock in their warehouse. Everyone I spoke to was so friendly and helpful. I worked with the owner Remi who really knew his stuff and offered us a very fair price, saving us thousands of dollars compared to what the builder was charging for the exact same material. The material was promptly shipped and I went about finding a suitable installer since our builder would not install flooring from the other vendor because they didn't have a contract. Thank God Remi and Best Laminate came through in a big way. The flooring arrived when promised and was perfect with no imperfections or defects. It is beautiful and I am so happy with it. I found Best Laminate online and was happy to know that they are a local company. They offer free samples from their website and from their showroom but they are pretty small. I suggest going into their showroom, which is really small, but it will give you a much better idea of what you would be purchasing. The customer service when you enter is really great. I learned so much from the woman and she had great information to offer based on my needs. When you come here you are probably looking for great products at amazing prices. I wish that I would've been able to find what I was looking for here because I would have saved a lot of money on my large flooring project. As their stock runs lower so do their prices! First, they sent me a free sample to make sure that the product they had in stock matched my current floor- something I could not find from any other company (didn't even pay shipping) Then, I ordered a little over 300 sq ft. of flooring from them along with some T molding and stair caps. They gave me an extremely great price and beat all other companies I was talking to by over 10%. I'd give it 5 stars, or maybe 4-1/2 but this is why not. First, since I was buying 1000 sf of flooring, price was a big issue. My local flooring company had a sticker price for the same material at $5.99 / sf. Yikes! My son, a contractor, knew of these guys on line. Their price? Less than $2.50/ sf. Ya, that's substantial. And free delivery to my door (I think; in any case the total cost including underflooring was less than $3300.00). The delivery took longer than I wanted (probably my fault as much as theirs; should have ordered it sooner). When it came it was delivered by semi-truck on a pallet. I live in a very rural area with a long gravel drive. The truck was not going to make it up the drive, so my husband was smart enough to say let's get our flat bed and we can back it up to the truck, off load and take it from there. That worked! During the installation (FYI - did it ourselves, or I should say our 30 something daughter did it!), the first few pieces took some getting used to how they fit together, but once she had it down, it went together nicely. Unfortunately a number of the boxes had damaged corners. My daughter likes puzzles. It was her task to utilize as many pieces as she could avoiding the damage. When all was said and done we had 4-1/2 boxes left and just enough that we will be doing the stairs with those remaining boxes (the damaged corners will be cut off cause not needed at the stairs). Overall, we love the floor - the product. The price was excellent. The floor is easy to clean - we have three big dogs! I'd work with Best laminate again. When I reported we had damaged boxes, their contact said take pictures and they would help us out. Thankfully, we've gotten past that and will not be returning any of the flooring. This was my first time buying flooring online and will be my last. The experience was really not good at all, frustrating, and fought with delays and other unforeseen situations. But in the end, (me) the customer suffered, and I (fortunately!!), I got to pay for the privilege. First off, I ordered samples and that came pretty quickly. I placed my order and got a confirmation date. When that date came, they said, the initial date is NOT the shipment date, it is a date for bestlaminate to receive the product. Your shipment date is going to be weeks later. TIP: customers don't care about your internal process. When am I going to get what i paid for ? Then i scheduled a delivery. I travel quite a bit and dedicate specific days to receive deliveries. I communicated those dates. Weeks passed and not response. Then I get a call that the person who is handling my account is no longer with the company. Ugh... Ok.. Finally reschedule it ( keep in mind, it's nearly over a month since I placed my order now! )... UPS says they are going to deliver at a specific time window ( 9a-1p )... I take time out of my day to be there at that time. The time comes and goes. I'm frantically calling UPS multiple times, nobody knows anything. They eventually dump my shipment on the driveway of the place. This is a rental, so I don't live there. I'm shocked that bestlaminate doesn't use a better shipper or a better level of shipper service. I paid a lot of money just for shipping.. By far the ABSOLUTE worst company I have ever dealt with. Own a business and I know how important customer service should be and that you should stand behind your product. They we great to deal with when ordering samples, mailing out product, checkin in once I got it, then when we had an issue- no one returned our calls until we continuously kept trying. Floor was messed up and they tried to make it right after pushing. Put our entire house on hold. Got the new shipment, product was bad AGAIN. Couldn't wait any longer and had to tear everything out and pay our floor company twice. They continued to change their "refund" requirements to benefit them and showed no remorse for what they had put us through. They've yelled, called us "unreasonable" all while not trying to understand the stress and financial problems they have caused. They delivered two pallets of flooring (although they told us only one pallet was available - where did the second one mysteriously come from?) with the same skew. However, after one pallet was laid, it turned out that the second pallet's planks were a different height than the first pallet, and could not be laid. What followed was a nightmare of interactions with the manufacturor, MSI, and Best Laminate. We incurred thousands of dollars of extra labor charges which of course neither company would pay. DO NOT TRUST TO DELIVER WHEN PROMISED I ordered from BestLaminate on May the 4th and received a sales order that stated an estimated ship date of the same day. On the 16th I emailed to find out why I hadn't got a tracking number and was informed that my order was back ordered. This was quite infuriating as it had been almost 2 weeks and no one thought to inform us that our order would take 22 days to ship. Jessica told me that they would drop ship from the distributor on the 26th. I called today, the 27th to be told that it would be another week as they had to pick it up from the distributor. When I queried about the drop ship I was told "I don't know why someone would have told you that" and that it was "not [the guy on the phone]'s order" and that he is "from the warehouse just answering the phones". The paperwork was not put in to drop ship the order. I really hope my order ships next week so that I can receive my floor 37 days after ordering. read more

I had water damage on my floor and was being worked on by my contractor when it was decided not to use the same boards but to order new ones. My contractor and the manager at Home Depot found my flooring at Best Laminate. Knowing I am handicapped, my contractor wanted to get the floor done so I would not fall, trip...etc. So they told me to order from Best Laminate because it was in stock and will will ship out in 3 days. So, I ordered my laminate flooring, it did state it was in stock and would be shipped out within 3 business days. After a week I still did not receive confirmation of shipping so I called and was assured it would be sent out that day. 10 days later, I called again and was assured it would be sent out that day. 2 weeks later, I called again and was told they had just received my flooring and would be sent out that same day. Of course, it took 3 more days before I received my shipping info. 3 weeks for a product that was supposed to be in stock. The employees do not know what the other is doing and tell customers what they want to hear instead of looking into the matter. It would have been better if they had been upfront and told me the flooring was not in stock. I would have preferred the honesty. Do I like the flooring? Yes, it is beautiful. We priced flooring locally ( I live in near Troy, ohio) and found this luxury vinyl flooring that would work great for our remodeling of our kitchen, living, dining, and family rooms.
