Water was leaking through the stairs and causing the stucco under the stairs to bubble. Therefore, I needed it to be repaired before teh wood under the stairs started rotting. Arturo came over and gave me a quote to repair the waterproofing and wrought iron poles that were very rusted where they met the waterproofing. I had another waterproofing contractor give me a quote for full stairs redo instead of only a repair. I can not afford to completely redo the stair waterproofing. Arturo gave me an estimate to repair the stairs and wrought iron. It was a reasonable price also. His team removed the damaged waterproofing and then cut the bottom of three rusted poles and plates off. Then, they welded a new pole with a waterproofed plate onto the bottom of the railing. On top of the wood, they put a metal mesh and fiber glass with resin as the third waterproof layer. See before and after pictures!

He was friendly, didn't pester or pushed us and answered all our questions promptly. Robert first came by to give an in person estimate. While he was here he answered all my questions honestly and confidence. Communication throughout the process was great. They used their 5 step lifedeck coating as well as a bonderized steel railing around my deck walls. The work began within the week and they even rushed a bit to finish before the rain. I appreciate that Robert and his team went above and beyond to do so. Happy with the result and would gladly recommend their work

20 stars if I could!…read more Everything about this company is top notch. I just bought a condo and I had a garage leak from a storm. :( Turns out it's from my balcony. The balcony was only 5 years old and it turns out it was done wrong. I found MFK on yelp and read through the reviews. MFK helped water test and found more leak originations than myself and another company. Their prices are right in line with other bids I received. It took a few weeks to get onto their busy books, but it was worth it. Mitch is the project manager and was fast with quoting, checked-in on site, and was always available. The 2 man crew, Gaspar and Alfredo, were amazing. They were on time every day and left it clean everyday. It was a 3 day job and it looks amazing. They showed me what they did every step of the way (I was curious) and I could see the nice quality craftsmanship. They had to rip out stucco on a wall and rip out the perimeter of my balcony to add flashing. They even found an area causing leaks just around the corner from the balcony and fixed that too (more stucco removal and flashing). They also did a few other little stucco fixes for me. Very reasonable price per square foot. Everything looks amazing. I also bid with them for roof maintenance (cleaning and sealing for 5 units in the HOA) and their pricing was the lowest out of 5 local bids. Don't use anyone else!

He also accommodated my comments and the changes I requested on some work items. He was very professional and we had great communication through completion of the project, exchanging multiple email messages and phone calls. The crew was always on time, efficient and responsive to my requests and cleaned up well at the end of each work day. I also retained them to replace my damaged wood sidings and trims. Martin did a great job custom making wood panels for me as my residence is relatively old and no sidings matching the original ones were available in the market. They completed this job efficiently as well. I found this family owned business trustworthy and will continue recommending their services to friends and family.

Jose came through said he wanted to do a water test for a nominal fee that would be applied to the total work. He did the test. In other words, if I had used any of the other contractors I would have paid over $10K and the leak would not have been repaired. I got the outlet sealed and the deck resealed and Westcoast's work was immaculate. They completed it punctually and even came back to put back all the furniture. Thank you! I highly recommend this honest, competent contractor!

From start to finish, James Kennedy and his outstanding team completed a truly flawless project. In an industry where finding contractors who consistently do what they promise can be challenging, James and KDOC Construction were exceptional. They delivered everything they committed to--on time, on budget, and with remarkable attention to detail. This was not an easy project or one designed simply to give us a fresh, clean appearance with new materials. KDOC Construction needed to replace beams decaying with dry rot, and they installed at least double the number of original joists to further strengthen the structure. The new balcony is rock solid. Safety and good looks, a winning combination! The quality of workmanship was superb. The materials used were clearly top-notch, and every aspect of the project reflected pride, craftsmanship, and professionalism. Just as impressive, the crew arrived on time every day for the entire three-week project and maintained a clean, organized worksite, carefully cleaning up at the end of each day. Working with James and his crew was an absolute pleasure. He communicated clearly throughout the project, was responsive to every question, and demonstrated the kind of integrity and professionalism that is increasingly rare today. He also has automated the quotation and billing side of his business. We never had to wait for information. We could not be happier with the final result. Our new balcony looks fantastic, and we have complete confidence in the quality of the work. We fully intend to use James and KDOC Construction again for future construction and renovation projects. I simply cannot say enough good things about KDOC Construction.
