My check engine light came on which is what brought me to the dealership this morning. Fortunately…read moremy truck is still under warranty so I won't have to pay anything to get the issue resolved. The staff has been very friendly and attentive. Leonard initially helped me and made sure I was taken care of in a timely manner. My vehicle will need to stay here for a few hours so I will be utilizing the free shuttle the dealership provides to take me home. So far this has been a good experience. The waiting area is very nice with a tv, reading material and free coffee available while you wait. I've heard good and bad things about this dealership but so far my experience with them has been great from the day I bought the vehicle 2 years ago up until now. I would recommend checking them out if you're looking to purchase a vehicle or need some services done.

A Frustrating Witness to Broken Promises, Questionable Excuses, and Zero Customer Care…read more I went with a friend to Dick Poe Dodge, and watching how they treated a "loyal customer" was completely eye-opening--and not in a good way. My friend brought in their 2019 Dodge Challenger--a vehicle in pristine condition with only 22,000 miles--for a routine oil change, an emissions test, and to check an AC issue that started right after the battery died. The car initially failed emissions (resolved after driving it 50 miles), but when my friend asked if the AC was good to go, the service advisor assured us everything was fine. We barely made it off the lot before realizing the AC was blowing hot air. When my friend called back, the advisor admitted "that was weird" and told us to bring it back. On the second visit, they claimed the AC evaporator was leaking. However, the advisor provided zero documentation or diagnostic paperwork to prove it--we were expected to just take his word for it. When I asked how an evaporator fails on a pristine 22k-mile car, his excuse was simply that the car "wasn't driven enough." To top it off, my friend was initially quoted $3,000, with promises that they would seek assistance to get the price down or practically eliminate it. The absolute best Dodge offered was $1,800. Meanwhile, dealership staff made multiple attempts to buy the car off my friend instead of genuinely helping fix the issue. It's easy for a dealership to call someone a "loyal customer," but throwing that loyalty out the window--and offering paperless diagnoses and absurd excuses--says a lot. Being there to witness this made it clear how little customer loyalty actually means to them.

The good and the bad. Went to the dealership on a Saturday to test drive a 100k plus vehicle. The…read moresalesman showed me the car and started it up for me. I asked for a test drive, but he was hesitant. However, his sales manager agreed to take me out and after chatting a bit, he assessed that I was not there just for a joy ride and allowed me to test drive the car. And to be fair, I don't look like I can afford much more than a Corolla. We then talked numbers and specifically APR and he told me with a credit rating in the 800s (me) an APR of 5.5 to 6 percent would be possible. I agreed and told him I would return on Monday. I did so with a cashier's check for 80k for the finance guy. That guy was not very transparent and when pressed, finally revealed a 7.74 APR. It was deceitful and not a good look for Casa Ford, but I went ahead with it since I knew I could refinance the difference for much less. My credit union however, advised me that they could not refinance the balance until the car was properly registered. Approximately 30 days later I could still not get Casa Ford to register my car after several calls. Since I don't live in El Paso, I finally became so frustrated that I drove to the dealership and spoke to them in person. To their credit, they made some calls to their Las Cruces affiliate and got someone there named Sam to get my registration and tags done that day. Although Sam did not say anything untoward, I could tell he was not a happy camper. Presumably because he had been told to complete a process that had been sitting for some time. My takeaway is that Casa Ford has some good people, but it also has some duplicitous people. And although my business in the grand scheme of things means little, I will not be buying my F-150 there later this year. I will instead look elsewhere even if it is more logistically troublesome. I neither recommend, nor discourage anyone from their own experience with this dealership. This was my first experience with Casa Ford, but regrettably also my last.

THAT's HOW FAST IT IS?!..... FULL OF LIES! I found out my self that it still available. They thought they were talking to a newbie in buying cars. Do your research before dealing with their agents or their MANAGER!, or maybe go somewhere else to buy vehicle. This dealeship is full of untrusted people. Maybe they judge people the way they dress, because I went there wearing t-shirt, shorts and flip flop. Look at other people reviews... and you will know.

They will bend over backwards to get you financed if at all possible. There was nothing I asked for or issue I needed work with that I was told "No". Maybe wait or let me see how I can make that work ... but never No. I'm told they sell 50 cars a month, and many of the personnel have experience from several of the larger corporate dealerships in town. And a certified mechanic on duty. They know what they are doing. The know the types of cars El Pasoans want and need with our environment. In the end due to surprise circumstances I didn't get the car I was looking at but I highly recommend anyone looking on a budget for a used car give West Star Auto Group a shot. Used car lots can make you feel like they are trying to "get to you" sometimes. But Frank left me feeling like someone who had my interests and needs at the forefront, with no tricks or rug pulling some places can exhibit.
