Buying Our First Electric Truck This week, we made a big decision regarding our beloved 20+ year-old car. While it has served us well with over 250,000 miles, its shredded timing belt and costly repairs meant it was time to pause and save up for future fixes. The process did take about six hours, mostly for financing and deal finalizations, so I recommend packing snacks and entertainment if you're bringing kids. Luckily, Casa Ford offered unlimited popcorn, coffee, and water, which helped pass the time! --- Why We Chose the Ford Lightning The Ford Lightning made the most sense for us: It's spacious enough for all the kids' hockey gear It works perfectly with our solar-equipped home Long-term savings on gas and maintenance are a win! While the Maverick is a solid option, we felt it was slightly overpriced right now for its size. We're hopeful that by the time our Lightning lease ends, there will be even more small hybrid truck options. Long delayed review here- in 2024 I sold my truck to Casa Ford and couldn't have had a worse experience. Tried to work a trade-in and buying a new vehicle from them and they would not even attempt to work price with me. When deciding to just sell the truck to them and buy elsewhere, their entire attitude and mood towards me shifted. Not to mention that they were insisting very strongly that I leave the truck, keys, and title with them before they even had the check cut. Ended up leaving the truck and kept the keys and title until I could get the check from them. When I came to give them the title and keys and receive the truck, they had some very snarky and unprofessional remarks for me regarding not wanting to leave the vehicle, keys, and title with them without receiving the money owed for it. Let me start by saying that the sales process and my salesperson was top notch. Chris Benavides was very knowledgeable and attentive to all our needs. It ends right there To keep this review short I made 19+ telephone calls to 10 different people ( run around) the last person blocking me from calling him back , all of this because I wanted to cancel a loyalty program. These people are the worst of the worst. They have taken an extremely wonderful experience and purchase of a brand new 2025 Ford Bronco and shat all over it for a reimbursement of $1,000. Took 2024 Lincoln Navigator to help diagnose a noise in the left passenger side, 11 days later I get the navigator back with the interior 4 doors filthy, driver side door leather gauged which will need to be replaced, seats dirty (interior is tan leather) and scratched running boards. Almost forgot, noise still present, after they "road tested it" I knew Ford service was going to be a disappointment but they managed to exceed my expectations. I regret purchasing this car here and knowing that I am going to be dealing with this incompetent team for the next few years. I would not recommend this dealership. They were extremely pushy, and didn't stay true to their word. First off, the finance department will move around numbers without telling you. At this dealership, I had told them how much I owed on the vehicle I was trading in, and on all of the sheets of paper they gave me to sign, it reflected what I owed. However, when it got time to sign electronically, the finance department said the numbers were the same, and to sign it. They failed to inform me that the numbers had been changed, so I had to return the next day and pay additional money for their mistake. Upon trading in my vehicle, I had also asked to keep the running boards that were on my vehicle, and when I went back to get them, I sat there for 3 and 1/2 hours thinking that I was getting my running boards back. I had been working with Esteban, and he had told me at the start of the process (when we were talking about my trade in) that I would be able to keep the running boards. After waiting there for 3 & 1/2 hours, he came back and said that his used car manager said no -- to which he said he can't make any promises to get them back because they were prices with the vehicle. This dealership is scammy, and I will never work with them again. They also did not detail the car that I had purchased like agreed upon. When I had went back for my running boards, I had said that I don't want to wait there all day, so I'd rather get my running boards back than a detail, and they provided neither service even after not giving me my running boards back. read more

This is a detailed account of the dealings with Casa Ford in Las Cruces, New Mexico 12-4-2024 - I had my vehicle in and had asked for some GPS information and a possible upgrade as it was not operating and finding addresses it should have been. They did not do anything about the GPS when I was picking up my car. They did not remember to do that. They did tell me to upload to my internet and get updates that way. 5-12-2025 - I had my vehicle in for service and asked again about the GPS as I did not think it did a correct update to improve the GPS capacity. The tech was new and really did not know what to do about the situation. 5-13-2025 - I spoke with service manager Roger about the situation and he basically was giving me a couple other options to try and one was an upgrade that may cost extra. I asked him to get back to me about the cost and I never heard from him again. 5-30-2025 - I called into the dealership and left a message to Roger about catching up and doing a follow up to see what we could do. I did not get a call back. 6-23-2025 - I stopped in to see Roger and he was not in and I spoke to Marcus about the situation He made some type of comment that the voice mail was coming to him now and that did not make sense as no one did call back. He suggested that I try another update on my vehicle at home with my internet of which I did and was not satisfied. I use a particular address each time that it will not pull up for my test. My phone as well as my wife's pull up this address immediately. 6-24-2025 - I sent an email to Marcus that the update did not work to my satisfaction and he never returned my email or call me for more information. 7-10-2025 - I tried to make an appointment online for an oil change and when it popped up with a recommended service I chose that service and it did not go any further. I tried several times but it did not work and then I ended up chatting with your online appointment service. They could not help and said someone from the service department would call and this is 7-16 and I still not received a call. 7-17-25 - I filled out a contact form on the Casa Ford website and it said someone would call me and no one did. I redid the contact with the same information on 7-18-25 and still I have not been contacted as it said it would. 7-21-25 - I decided to call the dealership and see if I could speak to a manager, as there is no way to communicate with anyone via email or direct phone. It has the owners but no contact information for them. I spoke with Hector and asked for a manager and they were in meetings. He took my information to have a manager call back and no one has yet. I know this dealership is going through a change with the new ownership and when I spoke to Roger he informed me on how they were trying to get better, but as you can see this has been a total failure for communication and service. Not only was he condescending, he was rude, and yelled at us in the showroom filled with customers. -Update. Took my vehicle for an oil change and I was not amazed with their service. Ivan was my service representative and costumer service was blah, but really what was upsetting was that I got a call saying my vehicle was ready. I arrive, pay and I was told they would bring it to me. It took them over 20 minutes to give me my vehicle back. They said it was because they probably double parked it. No car wash was offered so it is always a bummer not to have those additional services offered when taking my vehicle for an oil change. Costumer Service at its best. Whether you are buying a vehicle, servicing your car or warranty follow up. They have always been delightful. I do wish their restaurant/grill was still managed by Chato and Mrs. Silvia .. back then I use to want to take my car to get serviced more often to eat their delicious food. Scheduling service appointments is easy and within a considerable time frame. Comfortable couches, Snacks and coffee are available if you decide to wait while getting your car serviced and coffee. Beware when you negotiate your prices when purchasing a car because on top of the agreed price you are still forced to pay 3 separate junk fees: ETCH fee for $499.50 ( stikers on your windows) Advantage Loyalty for $399 (cupon booklet) Triton Paint for $699 ( car wash kit) They will try to spin these fees as "great benefits" but at the end of the day they are junk fees so that they can take more money from you and by the time you see them in your final numbers you are already in financing and emotionally invested in your purchase. Monday, June 12, I went to CASA Ford to buy a car I found online. I met with a salesman named Anthony. Turned out that the cars I wanted to look at were not at Casa Ford but at Casa Kia and GMC. We picked up the car and went back to Casa Ford to do the paperwork. I agreed to pay $5,000 down and finance roughly $10,000. During negotiating I was told that they would put new tires on it and would detail it. The next day the $5k was deducted from my account, Wednesday the loan showed up on my statement. Tuesday, I called Anthony to check on the car and was told it was being cleaned and tires still needed changing and they would change the oil. Wednesday, I called and was told it was not ready and Anthony would check on what else needed to be done. Thursday, I called again and was told there was no update. I got off of work and drove to Casa Kia to figure out what the deal was. I arrived and the front desk had me talk to Alejandro Soto, he told me the car was in line to be serviced and had not even been touched. I pressed him why it was taking so long, he said Casa Kia cars were the priority. I asked him why I had been told it was getting serviced earlier in the week and he went to go check his computer, he returned and told me the car could not be sold. I said I had already paid for it he said that was not possible because it was not for sale. I asked him when did the service technicians discover that it could not be sold, and he said that they just figured it out minutes before I arrived. He then transferred me over to Oscar Martinez who reiterated that Casa Kia could not sell me the car and that it should not have been sold to me. Oscar would not explain what the problem was. When I asked why I had been sold the vehicle, and further been continuously told that it was in the process of being prepared for me, he said that was not his department and that Casa Ford would have to answer those questions. I thought they were the same company as they shared inventory and I was driven over to Kia to look at the car I found on the Casa Ford website. Both Kia employees explained that while the dealerships shared the same name "Casa" that was the extent of their integration. I asked Oscar to let Casa Ford know I was coming so that I would not have to go through the whole process of explaining my situation again. At Casa Ford, I asked for Anthony and a Manager. The desk told me they had seen Anthony and would get him first and then a manager. After several minutes they returned and said Anthony had gone home. I told them that I would still like to speak with a manager and waited a further 5-10 minutes. Miguel came out and asked what the problem was, I asked if he was aware of the issues with the car I purchased, and he was not. I was frustrated that Oscar had not told him like he said he would. After explaining again Miguel said he needed to look at his computer. He returned and said they could not sell me the car, again I explained I had already bought it and the payments had gone through. I asked why I could not take it home and Miguel said that it was not safe to drive and Casa Kia service should have told them about the issues and it was Kia's fault that it was listed for sale in the first place. I asked what happens next and was told that I can work with finance on getting my money back. I clarified that they figured out they could not sell me the car moments before I show up in person unannounced. He said that was correct. I asked about all the updates I got, he said he didn't know and Anthony must have lied. He walked me to Finance and said to cancel the sale. Luis got my account info to return my deposit and said he would cancel the loan. I got my deposit back that day, the loan is still in effect over two weeks later. I have called 5 times since then and never can get anyone in finance. I talked to USAA and they explained it is a very simple process for the dealership to cancel the loan and return the funds. USAA advised me to pursue legal action and in light of how I have been treated I am inclined to agree. read more

Casa used to be a good dealership. Not sure what's changed but it has gone down hill. I called on 4 different occasions to get a quote for some easy work. 2-3 hours tops. The maintenance answering service could not get me a quote and forwarded my calls to service managers. Not once did any of them pick up. 4 messages left, 0 call backs. Called 2 additional times and left a message with the operator to have them call me back, she assured me they would or she would call me back. Shocker, still no call backs. Problem solved by going to the ford dealer on the east side. I guess they wanted my business. Also, why are there no fords visible up front from Montana? Only competitors used vehicles. I want to see fords when going by dealerships. All the new vehicles are buried at the back of the lot. Stupid. read more

In short, I don't trust Casa Ford at all. I took my vehicle here because I'm new to the area, didn't know where else to go and I was in a crunch, and friends told me to go to the dealership. They did their diagnostic and called me with the quote which seemed really high. So I asked them to send me a detailed, written quote. They quoted me on 3 different repairs they decided my vehicle needed. And the cost for each was over $1,000. Something felt really off with this quote so I did a lot of research, calling other mechanics, and asking mechanic friends. Everyone was shocked by the quote and didn't trust it either. I took it to E&R Automotive (highly recommend them!) and they determined only 2 of the 3 repairs Ford quoted me on were necessary. The 3rd repair was Ford lying. I know the dealership will overcharge but I hate when they lie. I broke down the Ford quote for each item and there were still hidden fees in it that I couldn't figure out. I live multiple hours away from this dealership. So I started the process over the phone and made it very clear I wanted an exact break down of the cost and money I would be spending. They send it over and I agree to the price and start my long journey drive to them. When I get there they have added multiple thousands of dollars onto the car and my interest rate percent is up 2%!!!! They refuse to go to the price that they had agreed to over texts. I don't like leaving reviews, especially bad ones, but in this case I think it's more than fair and people should be aware of what they're getting into when going to this dealership. I also had to heavily edit it to get it into one review. It's a whole Saga and the full review will be on yelp and everywhere else I can put it. The very brief version is- we bought a car from Casa Ford a year ago, having researched and wanting a reliable family car we found a 2014 ford escape with way less than 100K miles at casa ford. We brought up transmission issues we found while researching this model year and the salesman Robert, actually told us Ford Proper figured out it was a shift solenoid and the part was ordered and it would be repaired, and that he even felt it "slipping" during our test drive. Th backup camera was also malfunctioning-either a black screen with "contact your dealership" or an upside down picture. We purchased the car with the understanding that both the transmission and the backup camera parts were ordered and repairs would be made to mitigate issues and fix the camera. From the get go we have had nothing but problems, including delivery of the vehicle not being on time twice. Getting a flat tire with in the first weekish of having it, only to find the spare that came with the car was also flat and rotten which left us stranded for hours on the highway, it was like pulling teeth to even get them to replace the spare and we were out the cost of new tires on a car we literally just bought. So much for that 172 point safety inspection. The parts we were expecting for the transmission and camera were back ordered, and we called every few weeks and asked when we took the car for oil changes and always got the same story "back ordered" for a year, which I don't believe, getting stranded on the side of the highway again with transmission problems that we were promised would be mitigated, only to find out the parts we were expecting were never actually ordered and magically the backup camera parts were in two hours before I called to complain. Imagine that- a year after we've been asking and I'm stranded on the side of the road with the exact problem we were promised would be avoided and *poof* parts are here! Except not the parts we need, or the ones we expected because Casa Ford got motor mounts instead. Because "your husband said he wanted new motor mounts" that's so stupid it doesn't even make sense, especially since my husband is a mechanic and our biggest concern WAS THE TRANSMISSION! Car salesman are known for being slimey and Casa Ford is no exception. I kept getting those automated messages from Casa asking "Are you or anyone you know interested in getting a new car?" And a few weeks ago I responded to to stupid robot after seeing the message and looking at my black backup camera screen with "I'm interested in getting the backup camera I've been waiting a year on fixed!" And of course I got no response. This salesman, Robert, even though he was the one that said Ford had a fix, felt issues during the test drive, and swore up and down it wouldn't be an issue tried to use my frustrated response to their robot as some sort of admission that the transmission wasn't an issue!!! So if you didn't know, they can see and respond to those automated messages but if you have a legitimate problem THEY'LL JUST IGNORE YOU AND TRY TO TWIST YOUR WORDS AND FRUSTRATION! So here we are now, stranded between duty stations, we trailered the car (a whole debacle in itself, due to the not-quite 172 point inspection again and missing eye bolts) took it to a dealer close to us and... $7K TO REPLACE THE WHOLE TRANSMISSION for a car we paid $15k for ALL IN ONE YEAR OF DEALING WITH CASA FORD. I am wholly expecting some sort of rectifying efforts on their part but until that happens I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE! read more

This location is my regular dealership for service. They always take good care of me and they have a convenience that many service dealerships do not have- they have a little breakfast/ lunch restaurant inside. I had to have some maintenance performed today and it was not time effective to go home and come back, so I had lunch here- they had a lemon chicken with white rice and corn as one of today's specials, and it was good! They have an assortment of bottled and canned soft drinks and coffee. I had a Monster (low carb) to counterbalance the tres leaches cake I had for dessert. By the time I walked back to the waiting room for the service department, my Lincoln was almost ready and was being washed; this is a very nice amenity. Overcharged?? On 5/27 Wife was driving to oncologist doctors appoint. Lost power in 2015 Ford Fiesta, called Triple A and car sent to Casa Ford. Casa Ford kept car 7 days for new water pump, parts total about $200, Labor $875. Picked up car on 5/24, drove four (4) miles towards home. Car lost power, Casa Ford sent tow truck, examined and said problem with gasket (they previously replaced in original repair) and they want $1200 more. Wife asked to speak to Lowenfeild, his secretary said gone for the day (mid-afternoon weekday) Said he would call her tomorrow, Fri. Never heard from him. Today s Mon 29, still have not heard from Casa Ford. calling EP Lawyers assn. on Tue. "The average cost for a Ford Fiesta Water Pump Replacement is between $524 and $587. Labor costs are estimated between $238 and $300 while parts are priced between $287 and $287." read more

I see so many negative reviews for what I consider "small things", since there are no details. So, hang on to your britches because I am going to explain in detail why they get five stars from me! First, I have had to drive 1700 mile round-trips from my Home in AZ to San Antonio to care for my sister who had lung cancer. Time is and was precious and to me, my number one goal was to be with my sister!!! I was making the trip about every two weeks for six months. In regards to that, I was towing my travel trailer with my 1999 F350 "Beast". I built my baby from scratch, because honestly, I cannot afford a new truck, not right now. So . . . Here I am, over-nighting in El Paso,TX. May 28, 2021, I fire up the Beast at oh-dark-thirty, pull out of my RV spot, and before I get 200 feet, she is running horribly! I immediately pulled back into my RV Space. I pull out my computer and plug into the Beast . . . She is throwing codes for the Injector Driver Module and a couple of others referring to Under-Valve-Cover-Harness (UVCH). THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO RIGHT THEN AND NOW! I started searching - Casa Ford had the best ratings and their poor ratings were not related to service so much . . . SO I had the Beast towed to Casa Ford. On a Friday. Before a long weekend. The one thing I knew, they were not going to get to her soon. Let's face it, there were bound to be - and were! - other ahead of me. Jeff was my Service Manager - I told him to troubleshoot only, and call me for what they wanted to do. In the meantime, a friend drove from Arizona and towed my trailer and me home. I still had to tend to my sister, so I was running my other vehicles back and forth. As you can imagine, I had little time for my "baby", the Beast. They got her in on Thursday. I got a call. The mechanic wanted to pull the left valve cover. I asked so many in-depth questions, Jeff got the diesel mechanic on the phone with us. We cussed and discussed issues, and I explained what I had done and the tech put forward his view, and I agreed to pulling the valve cover. See, I thought it would be the Injector Drive Module (IDM) and he thought it would be the harness or "something" under the valve cover. The Ford tech was right! It was my #6 injector and it was mucking up the whole left bank! BUT . . . it was also a performance aftermarket injector and I needed to get them a part . . . by now it was Friday morning. I got a Rosewood injectors to ship Ford an injector, expedited, to get there Saturday. Monday morning, the Truck was fixed!!! While I should have been having a happy dance, the week prior, my sister went to join the Lord our God. I was still in San Antonio. Jeff was so marvelous. He said, "You take care of what you have to do. I'll make sure your baby is started up twice a week and we'll have her ready for you when your time is right. It made me cry, that there were so many supportive strangers in this oh-so painful time. I cannot thank you enough, Casa Ford. I trusted you, sight- unseen, with my baby and you came through with shining colors. Yes, I am one person, with one experience, with one truck. But I handed over my baby and they could have done just about anything, but they worked with me, I ageed to their perfectly appropriate troubleshooting steps (by the way, I have the 1999 Ford F250-F550 Workshop Repair Manual on my computer, and books at home!) . . . They were honest, straight-shooting, understanding and supportive. That is this old-time woman mechanic's opinion, and I thank God for Casa Ford Service!!! read more

I realize that is a very heavy statement, but in a certain way it does sort of capture the environment we all live in currently. My review is unusual in the sense that I typically only go towards restaurants. However, when you have a good experience it is your responsibility to shout-out the people who invoked the happy feeling you feel inside. We bought a 21 Ranger from this dealership in April. The buying experience was not the best, but it was definitely faster than at other dealerships. They gave us this "coupon" book for us to use to service the truck if need be. Since the truck was getting closer to 5k mileage, we tried to make an appointment for the oil change online. Yeah, well, they have no such system. You have to call and they will "call you back' with a time and date. We waited for almost a week with no response from them; we finally reached out to the guy who sold us the truck, and he said he will make an appointment and get back with us. Never did that. For a dealership whose owner screams on TV that they are providing the best experience to customers, they need to tone it down. Once you buy a vehicle, good luck getting any service done on it through them. So, what did we do? You guessed it. We made an appointment with Shamaley Ford. Fast, good service. Liars lie even when it costs them the sale. They offered me a good deal on a truck truck I didn't love, but a good deal. I wanted to take it. But I said I'd like to see a few others in that range since I didn't love this pink elephant. But I was open if I could compare it to something else. They want to run my numbers. Fine. Sit there hours. Then lo and behold the only truck in the entire Casa universe that I qualify for is that one truck. Everything else they have is $7000 or more above it. Really? I told them it's really important to me to not feel railroaded into one vehicle. They say they're running my numbers to see other options. Then they admit they're not showing me anything else. They never intended to. I make great money. I'm single. My credit is not the greatest, but it's not bad. The crazy thing is, I would probably have taken the deal they offered. But being such liars, and letting me walk away rather than check ot one or two comparable trucks while I'm looking at a sea of them in front of me, I don't appreciate my time being wasted at the end of a long work week. And my credit being run when I explicitly told them I would not buy without options. I'm grown. Your lies disgust me. Go somewhere else folks. read more

I came in because my tires kept saying they needed air. I can't express how helpful everyone was. I was asked at least 10 times if I needed help. I mean to even help putting my son back in the car. I can't remember the gentleman's name that helped me specifically with the air on the tire and resetting everything but I am so thankful! I truly appreciated everyone's kindness! read more

I contacted this dealer about a truck I liked. I got one phone call from them asking me to send pictures of my truck to give me a trade in value. Once I sent the pictures, I got one more call which I could not answer and they didn't bother to leave a voicemail. I received a text that only read "Ramon". That was it. I answered with "yes?" And never got a response. I have sent emails asking what is going on and all they say is " has anyone called you?" And "let me find out what's going on". Nothing else. Also, about a week after I expressed interest in the truck I liked, they raised the price by about 3000. read more

We've purchased several vehicles from this place. We have always received excellent service and both my wife and I have developed a great relationship with our salesman. HOWEVER, the service department has gone down hill. I'm not sure what the purpose of not making appointments is, but for people with jobs, it makes it very difficult to navigate. I took my wife's car in and spent 5 hours waiting for them to install a new windshield washer motor. I called yesterday to make an appointment for an oil change and associated service. Again, first time first serve. I live on the Westside of town and while there is a Ford Dealer within two miles, I had opted to go to CASA because the service is better. Now, it's hit or miss. I hope they get their act together. I like doing business with them and I don't mind the drive-but come on guys...I can't spend all day waiting for an oil change. read more

We started through an internet car site, and then texted and talked for at least a month while we were waiting for our insurance to work out the final stuff from a truck accident that happened in early February. While I was still recovering from my accident Pete would call andor/text me to see how I was recovering from the accident. This was BEFORE he ever met us. When we got there, everything went pretty smoothly since Peye knew which types of trucks we wanted to look at. I would highly recommend this place, and I would ask for Pete. GREAT service appointment today at Casa. After a $hitty experience at Viva I was hoping for better service. Casa didn't give me better, they gave me great. Had an appointment....they took my vehicle right in. Called me shortly after to tell me what I needed to have done. Quoted me a price for tires and when I asked if they could do better, they did. Kept in touch with me during the entire process. They did all repairs in 4 hours, compared to the 8 hours that my car sat at Viva without being touched. Viva wanted to charge me almost $1000 for tires and to fix my windshield wiper fluid tubes. Casa charged me $900 for tires, the wiper fluid tools, an oil change and my 30k mile service. Plus, they washed my dirty a$$ car! It was returned to me in spotless condition. I bought my car at Casa and will continue to do business with them! read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! The customer service is awesome but when it comes to fixing issues they have committed to fix they all of the sudden are "too busy", "can't answer", very unprofessional, I went in for service and they offer to fix a chip on my windshield for $60, I said yes, took off to work and left my car just so I can get a call 3 hours later saying they accidentally crack my windshield, they promise to get it fix the following Friday and it's been almost 3 weeks and nobody has taken the time to call back to schedule the appointment for replacement of my windshield, no follow up calls, NOTHING, I'm frustrated because all of this could have been avoided if they weren't so money hungry and should have just let me leave my car without doing "complementary inspection", now I'm driving with a broken windshield and it's dangerous! I do not recommend this location whatsoever! read more
