COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!! I had looked at reviews after my accident and based on their Google reviews I chose Pronto Body Shop. I recently had my white Ford Focus towed to their shop in August 2024. Laura was really nice and got the paperwork started. Unfortunately, my insurance decided to total the car based on its age. I decided to go ahead and work on the vehicle instead of releasing it to the insurance and having the car junked. I proceeded working with the manager, Tiffany Menefee, who truly made me feel like she understood my financial situation. I was given two estimates, one to make the car drivable and the other for cosmetic repairs to the vehicle. This was done so that I could determine financially whether I could proceed to the next step. They were careful to select salvaged mechanical parts that were in good condition to keep my expenses low. They also worked in stages by first addressing the mechanics and drivability. They did not want to remove any of the damaged fiberglass paneling incase I could not financially proceed to the estimate for body work because it would have been impossible to get the fiberglass panels back on due to them being bent out of shape. They worked methodically to ensure that I did not exceed the mechanical drivability estimate, not only did they not exceed the estimate they had provided but the total actually fell under the estimate. This is how businesses should be run! No surprise overages where you feel taken advantage of. Because of their dedication to details and constant communication to verify any changes or charges I was able to proceed with the additional body work. Everything together was still under the estimates I was initially quoted and the work was excellent. As a woman, I have been made to feel ignorant by some mechanics when I have struggled to ask technical or mechanical questions. I have felt their impatience with my lack of knowledge. However, I was never made to feel that way by Mrs. Menefee. She went over every detail step by step. Every question was thoroughly explained in a way that I could understand. As a previous insurance adjuster, she explained how to proceed with my insurance and the process of obtaining a salvage title. I felt like she treated me like she would have treated a family member. She was patient, understanding and walked me through the whole process. I could not say enough good things about her or Pronto Body Shop. As long as she is there I will continue to take my cars there.

I'm not sure why I never received a call back, but it didn't seem feel like they wanted my business. I was going to pay cash, which to me, would have been best for them, but I guess they run their business a different way. I went because it's woman owned and saw some great reviews. I'm disappointed to say that they're not all that interested in providing a job for a woman. They make their money. I'm just one person. I wish them the best. Just not with my money.

Hence, there seems to be high need for craftsmanship that is necessary to work a dent this way. That said, these guys repaired a door dent I had on a leased car that was being returned. Reasonable price and I could not tell that there was dent the size of a half dollar when they were finished. Plus, they fixed it the same day I brought it to them. Great place - hopefully, I won't need to go back!! But if I need service like this again, I'll be back to Empire.

I brought all of this to the "manager"s attention (he wasn't a manager as I found out later on) and he said they would fix it, the next day I can to pick it up and the gap was still there and the door trim was still high and I again brought it to their attention and they said for me to talk to my adjuster and find somewhere else because they did all they could and that they work on brand new cars straight off the lot and they know what they are doing because the manager has worked at Rudolph and other places so he knows what he is doing. When I went to leave my car was left dead and when they jumped my car they blew something in my electrical and caused a huge problem with my key and the car itself. As I drove home I noticed they cracked my start button by dropping something on it, my plastic by my shifter gear was chipped presumably by the same thing happening and my car was incredibly dirty in the inside. If I could give negative stars I would I will never ever bring another vehicle to this shop again, they only care about people that have money like the Porsches outside and the expensive cars they supposedly work on, if you are gonna go through insurance for any reason avoid this place bc they will charge the insurance alot and give you the bare minimum work.
