Dwight, Malcolm, and DJ are just the best. These guys are awesome and would give them 10 stars. We were moving from Seattle to Sacramento in a month and was deciding which was the best method to move. It was an extremely stressful time and situation and decided having movers would be the most stress free. And we do not regret it at all. We contacted them about a month before our move and was able to schedule a date. We were able to talk to them on the phone and was emailing all throughout the weeks and days before the move. We packed all our stuff that we can in boxes, and left the big appliances and furniture to them. These included our TV, dressers, couch, peloton, and king size bed. We were all packed the day of the move and they took about three hours to load the truck and pack the remaining items. We lived in the Central District in an apartment complex and it went very smoothly. The delivery would have been completed in two days, but we added an extra day due to logistics. During the move in day in Sacramento, they did a fantastic job putting all the boxes and items in the rooms. One of the best decisions we have ever made. They are incredible and I highly recommend them. read more

Malcom, Dwight and DJ were great! I highly recommend them. They helped us with our move from apartment to our new house, they were prompt, efficient and took care of everything the moved. They had lots of equipment to help protective furniture and other valuables which I appreciated! When I asked for a quote they responded right away, and there were no hidden fees like you might get from some other moving companies. If we ever need to move again we will definitely be using their services and I will recommend them to anyone that is need of movers. read more

Dwight and his crew were fantastic - they were on time, wrapped everything prior to loading, unwrapped everything at the new place, and kept everything clean across the board. Not to mention they wouldn't leave until they were sure we were happy with where they'd placed everything... which, when you've got other moves to get, shows dedication to your customers. Great experience across the board and would recommend them to anyone that needs a move, whether local or long-haul. read more

Malcolm, Dwight, and DJ were great! I was referred to them by "Can't Stop Moving" who told me they had worked there and then branched out into their own business, and I'm really glad I got that recommendation. They'll really take care of you and your possessions, and are very friendly, easy to get along with, and have upbeat attitudes. Communication: Very responsive via email and text, and phone as well. I had an up-in-the-air moving date, and did a lot of back-and-forth emailing on timing, and they were very patient and accommodating. Handling/Care: They laid out lots of moving rugs and runners on my hardwood floors as to not damage the flooring. They carefully wrapped my bare, un-dismantled furniture in moving blankets, and nothing was damaged, including gently handling very large and heavy gym mirrors that I couldn't wrap myself. Speed: They were very fast, strong, and efficient! Didn't loiter around in order to unfairly charge you for more time. Rate: Their rate was very reasonable for the amount of people to move you and the equipment they brought (truck ramps, handcarts, tape, blankets, etc.). I believe it's a 1-hr minimum, and you pay for the time it takes them to drive to your place, which seems to be a policy with other companies too. Timing: If you have an afternoon move (they offer two blocks: morning and afternoon), they might arrive late if the morning move took longer than expected (not their fault in my case: sometimes people underestimate the amount of stuff they have and think it'll take less time than what is realistic, causing the move to take longer and eat into other people's appointments). I would highly recommend them, and hire them for my next move. read more

Malcolm, Dwight and DJ were awesome. We hire them to move our belongings from storage to a Upack shipping container. We had two containers delivered and they managed to get all our belongings into one so we didn't need the other which save us over $2,500+. Really happy with their service and would highly recommend them. Thanks again for the awesome job. read more

We moved right as Seattle was locking down and these guys were amazing. We only moved a couple blocks but their team was efficient and friendly. They arrived on time, wrapped our furniture and moved our boxes without any issues. We loved that they were communicative, quick and careful. Highly recommend this business and we'll be using them again if we move in the future! read more

These guys did a great job! They moved us from one house to another house in the same city. They used 3 guys and 3 trucks. They were a referral from a friend of mine who had a great experience as well. They had a great attitude the entire move day and were super friendly. They worked hard and fast and were very price competitive. I would definitely use them again. read more

Very happy with the services provided by Best Coast Movers (Dwight and Malcolm)! We hired them for a recent move out of our Wallingford home and it couldn't have been more smooth. They were efficient, friendly and helpful, even though it was a rainy Seattle day. They easily fit everything we owned into our 16 foot moving van with extra room to spare. I would trust them to move anytime. Thanks for the great service! read more

This was the second time we used Best Coast Movers and we couldn't be happier. They showed up on time and we very efficient during the move. Every move is stressful but having a trustworthy company like Best Coast Movers makes the process a lot easier. Communication was great throughout. Look no further! Malcolm and Dwight just helped us with a local move. On time, friendly, careful & courteous - they check all the boxes. Best Coast Movers came to use via a referral (from another moving company!)....and we couldn't have had a better team to make our move easy. Two thumps up! read more

Our fourth move with Best Coast Movers, and a fourth five-star experience. This was a shorter move, from Kenmore to Kirkland. Once again, an exceptional experience. They were booked a few weeks out, but fortunately we had contacted them well in advance of our move date. These guys have 70+ FIVE STAR reviews on Yelp (and nothing less) for a good reason. They work quickly and carefully and they are a pleasure to deal with. It's like having your friends move you (except they're careful with your stuff and you have to pay them ). read more

I cannot say enough good things about Best Coast Movers. We were new to Seattle and needed to schedule a last minute move and BCM jumped on it and were there for us. We live on the third floor and these guys dominated carrying our million boxes, and heavy furniture. We have several antique pieces that are very sentimental to my husband and they took great care with them and delivered them with not a single scratch on them! The move was as quick as humanly possible. They definitely worked to get us moved in the shortest time possible - which equals the lowest cost to us possible. Their prices are more than reasonable - especially for the short notice we gave them. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone else looking for a move in WA. I believe they do moves to other states too - so just ask! read more

I've moved 11 times in 16 years . . . I swear I'm not running from the law. Of all those moves, my experience with Best Coast Movers was the best. Malcom and his team were professional, strong, communicative, and friendly. I hope I don't have to move again any time soon, but if I do I'll be calling Best Coast Movers. read more

These guys are top notch in every way. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a great price for fantastic service. I have moved many times over the past few decades and I can honestly say Best Coast Movers are the very best! These guys did great work, including showing up in the middle of the snowstorm we had last week and trudging through the snow with all my stuff. they took the extra time to make sure everything was placed where I wanted it, and took extra care with my peloton. Was super impressed with their efficiency and professionalism. Thanks again Dwight, Malcolm and DJ for your help! read more

Dwight, Malcolm and their crew were awesome! They were very responsive leading up to the move and answered all of our questions. We were moving into a new construction home which had multiple closing date delays and they were always very accommodating with our multiple rescheduling requests. On the day of the move they were on time and very professional. They worked hard and were always moving. Our furniture was wrapped well and we didn't have any damaged items during the move. They got done so quickly that there was enough time left from our minimum charge for them to put together some of our larger items that needed assembly. Besides being hard workers they're a friendly group of guys. I would highly recommend Best Coast Movers! read more

Best Coast Movers are amazing! Moving is stressful and working with Dwight, Malcolm, and DJ was one less thing to worry about. Communication was really clear and prompt and they are really well priced too. These are the hardest working guys you will find. From start to finish they took such great care of our belongings and made us feel at ease the entire day. Hoping we never have to move again, but will definitely be recommending them to all of our friends. read more

Dwight, Malcolm and team were a pleasure to work with. They were very responsive as we set-up our move appointment and showed up on time and ready to work the day of the move. We especially appreciated the teams flexibility in handling some of the loose odds and ends that didn't end up getting neatly packed prior to their arrival. Also impressed at how diligently and efficiently they worked ensuring absolutely zero damage to any items moved or the house we left or moved into. Finally, they moved some very large and heavy metal shelving in our garage, which saved us time disassembling and re-assembling this shelving. I would highly recommend Best Coast Movers for all your moving needs! read more

Dwight, Malcolm, and DJ made the moving experience absolutely seamless. They were very responsive and professional as I was in the process of getting quotes, provided a fair and reasonable estimate, and were punctual and courteous when moving day arrived. Highly recommend their services! read more

Dwight, Malcolm and DJ are THE BEST!!! I will use their company each time we move and share their contact with everyone I know. They responded quickly to my request, answered all of my questions in setting up the move, started right away and were professional the entire time. Thank you team BCM! read more

Dwight, Malcolm, and their team are really fantastic! We hired them to unload our moving pod when we moved to Ballard and again 2 years later when we moved out of our apartment. Both times went flawlessly, with great communication via email and great rates. Even though we had packed all our items and just needed help loading the pod, I was super impressed that when they even took the care to wrap furniture up carefully. Absolutely nothing was broken upon arrival two weeks later. They were careful, personable, and efficient without rushing. (They were also COVID-safe!) read more

These guys easily deserve a 5 star rating. I needed help packing up as well as moving and they took such care to make sure everything made the move in great condition. They are very professional and hardworking. They got the job done quickly and there were no hidden costs. There was great communication via email and they called me the day before the move to make sure I didn't have any questions. Super nice team. It really couldn't have gone any better than it did, they are absolutely the best! read more

I highly recommend using this company. I have used them 3 times in the last year for local moves in Seattle and they have been awesome to work with. Great team, responsive, on time, quality work, reliable. read more

Just Wow. This will be long, but the details really mattered to me here. Let me start with that they totally get that moving is really, really stressful. I sold my home of 16 years, where I raised my kids, and had long time beloved neighbors. I moved to a new town, and into a home of a dear friend. Packing was emotional and difficult and took forever. I had to figure out what would come with me, and what would go into storage, and label boxes accordingly and be super specific on contents so I could get to things if I needed to. Nutshell: not a simple move. I picked Best Coast based on their quote, but also their communication and the way they answered my questions. Here's how it went: - They showed up on time, and within an hour of them being there, I started to feel like I was going to live through this. They were, of course, professional, and also personable, interested, flexible (no 'rules' like, if it's not in a box we won't take it, kinda thing), upbeat, and never stopped. They took great care to wrap furniture and artwork (and there was a LOT), and of fragile items in loading. We were on our way in 2 1/2 hours...I was blown away. - First stop was my new home, to unload some furniture and boxes. My new bed room is super tiny so they made suggestions about how to rearrange it to accommodate my bed which they assembled), etc, and then moved my housemates furniture accordingly - including loading her bed into the truck, and heavy dressers to the other side of the room. They also then loaded another 20 or so boxes and some furniture I had moved to my housemates' garage when I listed the house into the truck. - Off to 2 storage spaces nearby - one for furniture (which they packed in to be 'earthquake proof', using lots of paper pads and cardboard to protect the pieces), and one just for boxes - which they loaded in with all labels facing out, and with isles so I can see and get to everything as I need to. Had to stop at the box space first, then the 2nd to unload the furniture, then back to the 1st box space to unload the rest (they were on opposite sides of the storage facility). They were done and on their way just after 5. They were spot on in their quote on man power and materials. Dwight, Malcom, DJ and Bryan could NOT have been more helpful or attentive, and had great suggestions over the course of the move. They worked hard and fast and remained totally upbeat with me and each other throughout the process. AND the final bill came in UNDER their quote. The decision to sell my home, getting it ready to list, packing, and prepping for the move was crazy hard. But Best Coast made the part I thought would be the hardest, the smoothest. Just hire THESE guys. read more

I've moved six times in five years, including one cross country, and these guys were by far the best movers I've ever had. So friendly and nice. They were right on time and pricing was reasonable. Also, they handled my stuff super carefully and nothing was damaged in my move. Would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again! read more

After doing a lot of research, I contacted 3 movers for an upcoming move from Seattle to LA. Based upon their stellar reviews and phone conversations with me, Best Coast Movers were chosen. They were great to work with, especially since we ended up having to change the move out date. The crew is pleasant, hardworking, efficient and helped make a very stressful move easier. My daughter was at the move in location in LA and gave them a big thumbs up. I highly recommend this trustworthy company, Best Coast Movers & Dwight & Malcolm. I would hire them again with no hesitation. Thank you for being the best movers! read more

Can't say enough good things about this team. I've moved a lot- probably ten times in Seattle alone, and these guys were far and away the best experience I've ever had. The communication before my move was amazing. Friendly and polite-- extremely quickly too (my whole move was planned and confirmed with a date change in under an hour). I loved that they called to confirm the afternoon before, open to questions or concerns, and told me to feel free to call if anything came up. The move itself was just icing on the cake. They had my entire apartment emptied in 30 minutes (granted I was ready to go, packed and organized). They wrapped every piece of furniture including my bike-- though they mentioned what pros they've become on moving Pelotons! The whole thing was over in about 2 hours and they HUSTLED. Made it look easy and believe me-- I had some heavy stuff. Totally professional, friendly, I trusted them instantly and would recommend them without reservation. I'll be using these guys the next time I move for sure! read more

I'm astounded by the level of customer service demonstrated by Best Coast Movers. We had numerous scheduling curve balls thrown at us after we set our first move date due to closing dates changing, contractor install dates moving at the new place, and surprises around inspections at the old place. Despite all this, Dwight and co. were accommodating, friendly, and never made me feel like the bad guy for having to change the plan yet again. This level of personal, friendly support from a business during something as stressful as a big move just doesn't seem like 'a thing' you can expect any more, but BCM has demonstrated it consistently since our first interaction. On top of that, responsiveness has been second to none with replies to my 'sorry, but what do you think about this' emails coming same day every time. Thank you, BCM, for taking care of this critical piece of our transition to a new home!! -JD read more

I worked with Dwight, Malcolm, and DJ twice now - once in 2018 and once in 2019 for moves within Seattle of a 1-bedroom apartment. I expect I'll be calling them again in 2020. * They work fast. They are well-prepared with all the right tools and can optimize the number of trips to and from the truck. Also, having a well-coordinated team of 3 makes a huge difference, compared to 2. * They don't waste time. When the loading space was occupied by an Amazon truck who just wouldn't leave, they quickly found another spot down the street and started hustling and unloading my stuff. * They wrap furniture carefully. I wasn't expecting them to, but I appreciated that they even wrapped my $15 IKEA coffee tables. * They were able to accommodate my requests and changes. I'm grateful for their flexibility, but it's certainly not an expectation! * Last and most importantly, they're honest and upstanding. They don't try to pad the time or bait-and-switch or tack on additional charges (they do charge for tape, which I knew upfront) or any of those modern business practices that I've come to expect from every single company. They treat me with respect, and so I have a lot of respect for them. Lots of things are unpredictable during a move, and that's why you need people you can trust. I'm a frugal person, sometimes excessively so, but every dollar I've spent on Best Coast Movers was absolutely worth it. I'd much rather hire them than sign over my hard-earned money to my apartments' greedy and parasitic lease renewals. Go read my other reviews - most of them are complaints - but I'll gladly give Best Coast Movers 5/5 stars. read more

I had an excellent experience with Best Coast Movers about 1 month ago for my local Seattle move. Dwight and Malcolm showed up exactly on time and moved our furniture efficiently and everything arrived up in perfect condition. They wound up taking less time than expected and the cost wound up being less than we anticipated. They also gave a generous cash discount. They were super friendly and a pleasure to work with! We were debating renting a u haul and moving ourselves but this was the best decision we've made in a while. Will absolutely use them again! Thanks Dwight and Malcolm! read more

Dwight, Malcolm, and the Best Coast Movers Team: Thank you for your hard work, your skill, and the great conversation during our move last Friday! Your team was professional, fast, and willing to work with us when timing of our move was last minute. Thank you for your patience, especially on a day when the elevator was down, while you waited what seemed like forever to move each piece of furniture two floors. We enjoyed the entire process, which was fast, easy, and bolstered by quick, two-way communication. You guys are the best, and when we move again, we'll be calling you! We've already told our neighbors and friends about our positive experience and hope to send more customers your way :) Thanks again! read more

I hired Best Coast Movers to move my apartment into storage while I move and remodel a new place. The team is punctual, friendly, careful, and efficient. I just moved from an apartment to a home and had a couple of recommendations for Best Coast Movers and decided to use them. Dwight, Malcolm and DJ showed up on time and were very courteous and professional. Their efficiency amazed me and they even moved my e-bikes, large potted plants and other odd items without a scratch on the items being moved. And not a scuff on the walls and floors of the home being moved from and the final destination. They never stopped moving and their hourly rate was well earned and the move was done in at least 2 hours less than I had planned for. I hope I never move again but, if I do I would not use any other mover. I would recommend to family, friends, or any other person who needs a mover. Moving is stressful, and these guys make it so much easier. read more

OMG Kevin and Alex saved the day!! After Established Movers who I originally hired bailed on me after a four hour postponement, I needed to hire another mover asap. Not only did Best Coast immediately respond with a very reasonable quote, but they could move me the very next day!! Everything went so smoothly which was in sharp contrast from the day before with Established Movers. Best Coast were professional, on time, answered calls and communicated frequently with updates, got the move done on time and even offered to assemble my things. Kevin and Alex were kind, friendly, very hardworking and I felt comfortable and relaxed with them moving everything. Now I wished I would've given them a bigger tip!! Like my husband says, these guys are bad as$! Don't know if I can say that on yelp but it is true. The best movers we have ever had. I searched all of the yelp reviews for the top rated movers in Seattle (including the hidden ones) after we had a nightmare experience with Bekins movers on our move to WA. Bekins scattered furniture parts all over our storage unit and we were very worried that we would have to throw away a lot of our furniture. Well Dwight and Malcolm from best coast movers handled the move out of the storage unit like champs and they were able to put together the furniture using the parts Bekins scattered all over the place with no labels. Our stop involved 3 stops and these men were fast and efficient, on time. I was like, they are already done? And while hard at work, they maintained a positive attitude all day! They also had great judgment when it came to where to put what. I love when people take pride in what they do and wish there were more companies out there like best coast movers. From now on we will only ever use best coast movers for all of our moves. Top notch! read more

My husband and I had to move about a year ago and did not have a great experience with that particular company and didn't want that to happen again. After receiving a referral to book Best Coast Movers for this recent move, we decided that we'd give them a shot. Dwight and his team were fantastic! Prior to the move, Dwight reached out to confirm the details. The day of the move, the team showed up on time and even added an extra person to help with our move without charging us. Very kind!
