I had an extremely upsetting experience at Best Buy today, and because of how I was treated, I will not be shopping there again. I went to Geek Squad for help getting a new battery installed for my cell phone. The tech said it would take 2 hours. During the appointment, the employee assisting me repeatedly entered my name in his laptop wrong and finally the wrong password into my phone without realizing what he was doing, which caused my phone to become locked for one hour. Since my phone was now unusable because of what happened during the appointment, I asked if they could contact the manufacturer to see if anything could be done. Instead of handling the situation professionally or politely explaining their limitations, the employee became rude. I asked to speak with a manager. A woman behind the desk told me she was the general manager of the entire store. She told me their policy was not to help customers with the locking issue and that I would have to come back another day. I tried to explain that I am a paraplegic, hearing impaired, 100% dependent on my phone and a senior, and that I cannot simply jump in a car and come back whenever it is convenient for them. I had made a special trip to Best Buy specifically for this appointment and had to pay for transportation to get there. Her response was dismissive and condescending. When I explained that I really needed my phone fixed and asked if there was anything they could do, her response was basically, "Yeah...COME back tomorrow." The way she said it felt incredibly cold and insensitive to my situation as a disabled customer. When I told her that I felt her behavior was not helpful, she threatened to call the police on me. She also had a security guard come over to physically remove me from the store. I rolled away and attempted to purchase a cord I needed before leaving. The cashier was already processing my sale when this same manager canceled the transaction, took the cord and told me to get out of her store. I was told by another department manager that she was not actually the general manager, but only a manager over the tech area. Another manager came over and defended her behavior instead of trying to resolve the situation. Meanwhile, an associate did call the police, wasting the police department's time over a customer-service issue that should never have escalated that far. I left without my phone issue being resolved. This was humiliating, stressful, and completely unnecessary. I felt like Best Buy showed no understanding or compassion for a disabled senior customer who had made a special trip and paid for transportation to get help. I believe Best Buy needs serious training on how to treat seniors and customers with disabilities. No customer should be spoken to this way, have security sent over to physically remove them, have the police called on them, or be forced out of a store while simply trying to get help with a problem that occurred during their appointment. No value at all in the service today! I will not return to this Best Buy location, and I will be sharing my experience with others. P.s. Apple was so appalled at how I was treated they apologized on their behalf and they are sending me a free refurbished iPhone. I will be sending them my current phone. So it worked out. read more

Beronica, the store manager, is a terrible store representative. I had a return that was not going through for some reason. I called support and it turns out there is some glitch in their system preventing the return. Beronica was there to "help" me with this. The whole way, she blamed me for initiating something in the system that was preventing my return. She had nothing but attitude in spite of hospitality. I had to go as far as having a Best Buy support rep on the line while speaking with her to move things along. Even after admitting defeat, Beronica was still there giving me attitude as if i had control of some faulty internal system. Stay away from this store and if you hear Beronica's name... Stephen helped me out and he was super knowledgeable about everything and really helped me out with my large purchases. They try to price match to a few other retailers for normal priced items too so it's literally a one stop shop. I'd expect a 20-30% discount from the retail price for all items here. Some more than others. Open box means usually someone purchased the item, returned in the 2-3 week return policy they have. Item goes through pretty detailed inspections to make sure the appliance works properly. If you have the total tech subscription thing, might be worthwhile for all your Best Buy tech products. If you're looking for a few appliances I would totally make the trip out. Might save a couple hundred-thousand bucks. read more

I had already browsed Costco and sears outlet and I decided to hold off and check here and I'm so glad I did !!! I found all three from LG for $1700 !!! The fridge alone was originally $4000 and makes sphere ice which just shows how bouji this fridge is !! They did have minor dents but nothing crazy or that noticeable so I didn't really mind! Wow some of these people that work here don't have no shame. Me and my wife ordered a washing machine that was listed as "excellent condition" for a great price. Im sorry but after we seen what they rolled out for us we literally had a hard time trying to listen to the reasoning for a "fair" condition item being listed as a "excellent " condition item. The gentleman that rolled it out tried his best to help with the situation and went and got the manager. She came with no concern on her face at all and literally looked over the beat up washing machine and stated yes its graded excellent but its a bit used, then we stared at each other like she assume i was going to say load it up then. When I finally stated this is not what i came to pick up she proceeded to take me around to look at more " fair" condition washers and ask what in particular was i looking for when the washing machine i ordered was clearly the one i was looking for. I dont believe i told her how far we drove but i told the gentleman we came 2 hours away for this crap. I bought my fridge online and walked in to pick up, first - no curb pick up available so I went inside. 4 guys standing next to entrance didn't even bother to help when we walked in. App said go to counter- looked around & only "counter" was empty, so I went to the 4 guys that were hanging out next to front door. One yelled at me, WHAT NAME twice! I asked them to put fridge on its back because I had a long drive, they said ok buy fridge couldn't be plugged in for 24 hours. I said ok. And they still put it standing up. Thankfully we had straps and were able to figure it out An elderly gentleman was in our same predicament and he was not assisted in strapping down fridge. Some of the appliances are brand new still wrapped just got to fish for the good stuff... we signed up for the best buy tech support membership which includes delivery, installation and warranty on all the products which means peace of mind too. Worst experience possible. Ended up buying a used dryer on Craigslist - which was delivered to us the same day and is working wonderfully. Do yourself a favor and save the headache... do not buy anything from this place. Customer service at the store itself was adequate, however, it's the third party delivery service they use and the customer service that were pitiful. Even the store associates gave us a warning that there "could" be problems with the delivery service and strongly encouraged us to pick up the dryer ourselves. We don't have a truck or the time, so we had no choice but to go with the delivery service ($75). How does Best Buy contract with a delivery service that is so inadequate and unreliable? Long story short - bought a dryer. Waited at home the entire day for the delivery. The dryer never arrived (despite a confirmation phone call and email the morning of delivery). Called customer service several times - only to be placed on hold repeatedly for up to 20 minutes - and then disconnected. Went back to the store a few days later to explain the problem. We were told the system showed that the dryer was "in transit" and they did not know where the dryer was or why it was not delivered. We were encouraged to cancel the order entirely, get a refund, and buy a new dryer. I got my refund for the dryer we never received but still haven't gotten refunded the delivery fee. That's a whole other headache. Apparently we need to call a number because the store can't refund the delivery fee. Second dryer arrived timely... but stopped working within 10 minutes. Anyway... long story I know but just avoid this place. Really. read more

Very shady practices at this place. Units that are clearly physically damaged with things that are marked as being in excellent condition on their open box price tags. Also every item states that no accessories for the other items are missing, but many of them have missing parts and or instructions. I had a very positive experience at this location. It's been one year and about 3-4 months since I purchased an open box whirlpool stainless steel refrigerator from this locations. Original price was around 1600 I got it for 779 + tax. The refrigerator still runs great, the associates at the location were helpful, attentive and they even recommended a local moving business which helped get the fridge to us. Like I said overall a great experience they even worked with me in pick up the manager was willing to hold the fridge for one extra day because the mover wasn't able to pick it up until Saturday of that week. read more

I bought a tv, installation, sound system and Trade Tech Support program- paid in full. The day prior the delivery I confirmed the appointment. The day of the delivery, I called a day off from work and waited til 6pm. I never got an email, call nor text. The purchased merchandises were never delivered. I called 3 times Tuesday, 3 times the following day. I was on hold more than 15 minutes each time I called. Got disconnected 3 times. My issue wasn't resolved. It wasn't the phone representative's lack of service. It is Best Buys procedure of taking orders, payment, but not delivering as promised. My order is delayed now over a month. Best Buy knew this would be an issue, and put in fine print a loophole of not being able to deliver as promised. I do not recommend purchasing any products from Best Buy. It was the second time I had a very negative experience with them. 2019, I purchased an item used my credit card, a few weeks later there was an unauthorized charge on my card. My bank traced it back to Best Buy using my card info. Best Buy denied negligence on their part- perhaps allowing an employee to misuse their access to customer info. I think it is the policy of Best Buy to be this shady. read more

I went there on 11/27 I had a Gift card the sales person did not know how to use it and told me to charge it to my regular card they were closing and just wanted to make the sale. Told me to come back tomorrow and they will credit my credit card and use the gift card, when I was leaving the sales person comes back and tells me oh sorry we can't do that. So now I can't use my gift card. It was really disappointing they were only interested in making the sale knowing they are lying to me. I received a text message that I would be receiving my refrigerator between 3-7 pm. I had plans for someone to be at my house at that time. I am at doctors and get a text that they are at my house at 11:35 am, WTH??? Then they send another text that they will be there at 12:55, I rush home and they don't show up. Then I call to find out where they are and I am told, "oh they won't be dropping it off til tomorrow between 7-11 am. I have to take off work to be here for delivery. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! I just got off the phone with them and they said there was a mix-up for tomorrow and they can't come until Friday. They sold a dishwasher for 860 including tax with 3 missing parts. It has been months that I am calling back and forth between BestBuy and Whirlpool and no one is willing to fix it. The reason that I purchased the dishwasher was that I was told by the sales rep over there that there would be a shortage of appliances soon and if I do not get my dishwasher, I might not be able to find one after few months.  The dishwasher was sitting in my living room since the kitchen remodeling took longer than it was supposed to and I had to leave CA due to my father's death. After my kitchen was finished, I brought a technician to install my brand new machine but it did not work. I was told by the technician that I need to contact BestBuy. I contacted BestBuy and a technician from Gig Sqaud came over (on the assumption that I had warranty which is another long story) and said that the machine has missing parts but since it is less than one year and even less than six months I need to contact whirlpool.  I have been contacting whirlpool for a long time and no result. It has been months that I am calling both BestBuy and whirlpool with no result.  In fact,  they refused to fix it since it is less than a year of purchase date and it should be covered under manufacturer warranty.  When I contacted Whirlpool, I was told that the parts are covered only thirty days.  I even asked Whirlpool and BestBuy for one-time good faith, but I just received a denial. Best buy is also denying the repair, reasoning that it was not either put in the machine in the factory or it might have been stolen in my house??????? I paid almost 900 ( please see the attachment) for a brand-new machine and it never worked. Now they do not even answer my phones. read more

If I could give this place a 0 star I will, bought a fridge that is defective, and about to buy a range hood which I thought its good deal ( it's too good to be true, wonder why it's cheap ) , the manager name Danny, told me it open box that's why it's a good deal, and didn't mentioned to me it's missing some parts and give me wrong information that all parts are complete, I'm glad that one of the sales (named Rayan) check it for me and found out most of the parts are missing, or else I'll be back for a return again. All sales are rude that it's seems all they want is rush sell ( commission based?) , they don't build customers satisfactory at all. This has had to the worst place to believe you would get customer service! I get that it is an outlet, however you should be greeted, you should be asked how can I assist you. Then it gets even worst, they check the TV it works, but has no leg screws, remember they are supposed to be the expert in TV, they give you screws that don't even work for their brand of TV! I bought a fridge and from where to park to getting assistance on the truck was deplorable.
