I spent 4 hours at home and 1 hour at the Verizon store to activate my new phone. It was a BRUTAL day. .. but Teresa ( I believe that's her name ) ... we had the opportunity to get to know each other while waiting for the activation department to do their thing. She handled the situation with extreme professionalism. For the first time ever I really like a Verizon sales representative.

The tech examined the phone and told me I needed a new battery, that the original was swollen. OK, $85 no big deal. I call for a pick up and I'm told that after installing the new battery, the screen no longer worked and I would need a new one. Not good! No thanks, say I, I'll just pick the phone up. I get to the store and I find that they have replaced the screen at no charge, since it was functional when they accepted it for repair. I could not get Fiber, so I thought I would use it until Fiber became available. In August, the City of Ocala ran Fiber to my neighborhood, so I signed up for it and cancelled the AT&T internet and when I called to cancel, I was given a UPS label to put on the box to send the modem back. I sent it back and then was charged over $200 for rental of this box for the remainder of 2 years that I had signed for - I was told I was renting the modem, but not that I had to keep paying on it forever. I contacted AT&T multiple times - at first, I could not find the tracking of the return, so I could not get any satisfaction. Then I found it and called the LOYALTY department, figuring everything was going to be OK now. Wrong! This guy did not care that I returned it. I said that if I have to pay for it, why did you have me send it back? And if I have to pay for it, send it back to me so I can sell it to somebody. He refused. As soon as my obligations for the phones are up, I am out of there! Pretty sad public relations!

Everything was great till we discovered that he did not have the ability to DVR. We contacted Spectrum and learned that we needed a different box. We drove down and picked up the new box. On the way home, Dad asked if we could call and make an appointment to have a technician come out and install the new box as he didn't want to burden me with another installation. I called Spectrum and Jerry assisted me quickly by setting up an appointment for this afternoon. Randall showed up early and got straight to work. He not only hooked up the new box, but he also updated the box in the bedroom. He changed out the old cables as well. My Dad In Law was so relieved, happy and impressed with Randall's service and with Jerry being able to set up the appointment so quickly. With Dad approaching 92 years of age, customer service is so important and helpful to him and these two employees definitely deserve some recognition. Great service!

The second trip was 29 days later, when that battery failed--still under warranty. We picked it up the same day, and while it powered on, the screen soon turned green at home. We returned again today for a third attempt to fix what was clearly caused during their repair. At checkout, they framed it like they were doing the right thing and "taking care of it" for us. But when we got in the car and turned the phone on, a new white flashing light started going off. This wasn't just unresolved--it was a final slap in the face. In retrospect, each time we went to Tech Bros, we experienced more damage. The way this was handled was completely unprofessional and dismissive. When we insisted that they fix the damage, they threatened to post our texts online like transparency would somehow make us look like the bad guys. Classic deflection tactic - trying to intimidate and discredit us because they know they've mishandled this, and we're holding them accountable. They broke my daughter's iPhone and then sent us a bill for an extra $150 to fix it. Save yourself the grief and go to a reputable company. Buyer Beware!!!
