I took our iPad Pro 2nd gen to have the battery replaced. I had called first before going out there on a Sunday 6/28/2026 & was told they worked on iPads. We went in & I told the tech the problems that we were having , that it kept going on & off only that morning & that it was getting hot at the area where the battery is. Being a master electrician & working on UPS systems I knew it was the battery. I also know you can't screw up the computer buy changing the battery.The tech wanted to do testing on it & I told him it was the battery to just change it. He said he would deduct the testing from the quoted price. He turned on the iPad & it came on no problems. It was losing charge quickly so again it was the battery. He said he would run a movie on it to see how it does so I said ok. The next day he called & left a message that they do not work on that iPad model, I called back & he told me it was because of the screen. I went to pick it up & what he did was killed the battery. He ran the movie on it & drained the battery completely. Now I can't access anything on it because it will not take a charge. The dumbest thing about the whole situation was I told him it was a iPad 2nd gen (he should've known then they don't work on them)& also he could have looked up the model number & serial number that was on the back of the iPad to confirm it. But I guess these tech's aren't that smart & shouldn't be working on electronic equipment. I know apple doesn't repair older models just to get you to buy new ones. Run the other direction bro! This was our third trip to Tech Bros in two months. We were new customers when we first came in for a dead battery. The second trip was 29 days later, when that battery failed--still under warranty. We picked it up the same day, and while it powered on, the screen soon turned green at home. We returned again today for a third attempt to fix what was clearly caused during their repair. At checkout, they framed it like they were doing the right thing and "taking care of it" for us. But when we got in the car and turned the phone on, a new white flashing light started going off. This wasn't just unresolved--it was a final slap in the face. In retrospect, each time we went to Tech Bros, we experienced more damage. The way this was handled was completely unprofessional and dismissive. When we insisted that they fix the damage, they threatened to post our texts online like transparency would somehow make us look like the bad guys. Classic deflection tactic - trying to intimidate and discredit us because they know they've mishandled this, and we're holding them accountable. They broke my daughter's iPhone and then sent us a bill for an extra $150 to fix it. Save yourself the grief and go to a reputable company. Buyer Beware!!! read more

I started at Tech Bros to scrub an older Apple to pass along and it seemed like it was going to be complicated. I needed an external hard drive to accomodate all the photo files & that I would have to purchase at BestBuy. When I went to BB I was sold the ext. hd and a "protection plan." I went with Geek Squad housed inside BB to do the whole job hoping the "pp" would allow for some better service...When I got the new computer back home from Geek Squad none of my previous passwords would work. When I went back to GS (1st one on line when they opened) I was told to make an appointment and the only available was 5 days away... Went back to Tech Bros, where a helpful Bros showed me where I was going wrong... two minutes, got me up and running... They are now my go-to ... Several apps on my iPhone 14 pro max started acting glitchy. I couldn't save pics off Facebook; telegram wouldn't access my address book, etc.When I went to settings as instructed, there were no mechanisms to correct the problem.
