I had the misfortune of dropping my pristine iPhone X and the screen popped out of the frame a wee bit. Still functional, no cracks or visible damage. I called Re-Tech and the tech told me he would re-insert the screen for no charge. Great! I wiped the phone and went to the store. The tech examined the phone and told me I needed a new battery, that the original was swollen. OK, $85 no big deal. I call for a pick up and I'm told that after installing the new battery, the screen no longer worked and I would need a new one. Not good! No thanks, say I, I'll just pick the phone up. I get to the store and I find that they have replaced the screen at no charge, since it was functional when they accepted it for repair. This was the right thing to do and I'm a happy customer. 5 stars. read more

So my iPad Mini's screen shattered after I accidentally dropped it at work. I use my Mini for everything I do at work and its a very vital tool for me. I took it into Re-Tech just after I got off work around 6:30pm, they told me that it would be ready around noon the next day. I took an early lunch and picked up my iPad just before noon. Everything completed and they gave me a Military discount as well. Very Professional service compared to the iFixIt shop in the Paddock Mall. My sister had gotten a new iPhone XR at an "authorized dealer" store, as opposed to a corporate store. As a result, the staff was less than helpful, discontinuing the cell service on her old iPhone and starting service on the new one before helping her understand how (or doing it for her) to back up her contacts, apps, settings, etc. Unfortunately , it made it very difficult for us to get the backed up documentation saved to the cloud so it could be uploaded to her new phone. When we went to a corporate store the gentleman there was quite helpful and referred us to Re-tech Phones since the Wi-Fi in their store was too weak to get this accomplished with any reasonable amount of efficiency. We were fortunate to get Ricardo to assist us. He quickly and courteously resolved our concerns in a matter of less than 15 minutes. He was knowledgeable about all features of both cell phones.The price charged was very fair and I would not hesitate to use them again for anything related to my cell phone. read more

Been using them for years. Recently the screen installed on my I7 was replaced. The replacement screen did not even last 10 minutes before part of the touch screen died. I then had to wait for them to get more. I even bought an i6 for my son. I planned to use till mine was repaired then give to him. The phone I got had a dead battery that I questioned them about. They plugged it in and it jumped high on the garage again and was told that happens when they sit for a while. Well I charged it for over an hour. Got to over 80% then by the time I drove 10 minutes the battery was almost dead again. Now the I7 I had them replaced the screen on touch screen died on again. Took back and they did a reset, just like I had tried to do for a hour. They then told me that my screen basically had no warranty now because I did not buy a screen protector from them and now it is "all scratched up". The said they could not send it to the vendor so they will not warranty it any longer. I can not believe them. It is not "all scratched up" it has a couple minor ones due to the soft glass they used. I have spent crazy money over the years with them. No more. Freaking sucks they have chose to start using cheap parts and not stand behind their work any more. read more

I took my LG phone to have them look at it because I could not hear people when they called me and couldn't hear them on the speaker phone either. The young man took my phone called it and said I will be right back. He walked down away to some tools on the tool bench and took the back off did some thing to the inside (looked like he was brushing the inside.) He put it back together and tried it again and then handed it to me to try he called it and it was wonderful I could him hear him loud and clear. I was ready to purchase a new phone but a friend told me to take it to Re-Tech first and let them look at it and I sure am glad I did and when it was all done I said OK how much do I owe you he said "nothing". You rate a business not so much when things go as planned, but how the business responds when they DONT go as planned. I took my HTC 10 in for a new battery, and they ran into some issues. The manager and techs went above and beyond to get my phone fixed as quickly as possible!! Great prices, outstanding customer service. I purchased a screen about a year ago and it was never 100%, even after returning to the store to get it resolved... they became hard to deal with so I left it at that and dealt with the some-what glitchy screen up until the lcd started to show lines very badly, enough to where you can hardly see words and such... I go into the store and the tech tells me the screen WOULD be covered by the lifetime warranty they advertised when i purchased the screen originally but with the "deep scratches on the glass" it voided the warranty. Mind you the scratches are from everyday use and weren't noticeable until he started to clean the screen and hold it up to the light... you cant feel these "deep scratches" by touch but yet they were considered "deep scratches"... blows my mind the customer service they have trying to warranty anything out or even fixing their own mistakes.... just terrible!!! read more

Great customer service and great job on my screen it looks and works perfectly if not better. It was pricy but it's the closest place you will get to quality and price being the same or worth it. They even fixed my sux cord love it so far thank you so much. read more

The reason I give re-tech a one star Is the simple fact that I've contacted the business three times told him what's wrong with my phone and told me it would not be a problem that they would buy it back came back the Fourth time and now they're telling me they can't buy it back because it messed up or been fixed at another place well maybe if you get all your employees together and make sure everybody understands that you guys do not buy back phones that's been worked on your customers won't be wasting time and trying to doing business with you guys very unsatisfied very on organize would never recommend this place to anybody read more

Ok folks I took my iPhone 4 which I use as a mini ipad at home on wifi via airplay to my apple tv. I had taken it for repair of LCD & back cover 361 days ago. They state it has a 1yr warranty. Today they tell that it needs a new LCD again & that it will be $49. Yet they also stated that it might just need a cleaning. Why wouldn't they tell you that first. I opted to leave it for the cleaning. I did tell the person that took care of me what happened to the 1 yr warranty. They stated I should have brought it earlier. I just went here yesterday to get my phone fixed because it wasn't retaining charge. The guy that helped me when I was dropping it off was super friendly and helpful, got me all set up and told me that if they replace the battery it would normally be 39 dollars but they had a 15% off deal because it was Black Friday. He asked me if I wanted the screen replaced but I said no because I examined my screen and there was only one single crack in it so I said it wouldn't be worth the 99 dollars to get it fixed since you couldn't really see it. When I went to go pick it up a different guy was helping me. I was really excited until I was told that I had to pay 41 dollars..I had to remind him about the 15% off so I'm not sure how many other people were accidentally charged full price without the 15% discount- lame. Also I was shocked to see that my screen had a huge new crack across the top and a scratch down the middle!!! I said something and the guy went to check with the tech but came back saying that the tech had notated the other crack when it was dropped off, before he started working on it.....first, I'm not crazy so I think I would know a lot better than the tech if that second crack was there when it was dropped off, and I would not be the type to complain about a bogus scratch if it was there before. Second, that 'notation' system is absurd because there is no regulation so he could write down anything he wanted and it can be taken as true as far as they are concerned. I felt really uncomfortable because it was his word against mine, and when the guy came back I was expecting that he would at least offer me something (like half off for screen replacement or SOMETHING, now that it's got a huge new crack in it???) but he basically just stared back at me so I left disappointed. Be careful when you go here to pay attention to what marks and scratches/cracks you have on your phone! read more
