Tom seemed very helpful at first, said he can fix the screen for about $200 dollars. It was an iPhone 13 Pro Max and we just wanted to get it done so we said okay. He said he ran a test on her battery - said that it was needing to be replaced. We never came in for any battery problem. He then pressured us into replacing it, claiming that we need it and he only gets "authentic" batteries so there's nothing to worry about. We ended up getting the battery replaced as well. After some time we noticed that her phone is dying incredibly fast. It got so bad that she had to keep the phone plugged in most of the day to just keep it on. What's funny is, she even started getting notifications on her screen that Apple couldn't verify the battery percentage because it isn't a genuine part. (see pics attached) After prolonged frustrations, we finally decided to give him a call. He repeatedly dismissed our concerns and insisted the battery could not be the issue. He said it can't be the new battery, it's your phone's board. After insisting he should check it out - he finally said to come to his shop on the weekend around a specific time so he can take a look. When we arrived at the agreed time during posted business hours, the shop was closed. So to sum things up, if you're looking to support a small business that provides honest, quality work - this isn't the place. I paid $280 and an additional 20 dollars for a screen protector just to end up replacing the phone after a few months anyway. If you end up going to his shop, expect him to give you a hard time if you have any problems with your repair. I'll also add a picture of the receipt incase he tries to say my review is fake. Update: The phone is at 100% battery because it needed to stay on a charger all day to even be used. The problem wasn't the fact that it couldn't charge up all the way, it was the fact that it drains to 0 within less than a hour of screen time. Sometimes it would even die before it gets really low.

We went in & I told the tech the problems that we were having , that it kept going on & off only that morning & that it was getting hot at the area where the battery is. Being a master electrician & working on UPS systems I knew it was the battery. I also know you can't screw up the computer buy changing the battery.The tech wanted to do testing on it & I told him it was the battery to just change it. He said he would deduct the testing from the quoted price. He turned on the iPad & it came on no problems. It was losing charge quickly so again it was the battery. He said he would run a movie on it to see how it does so I said ok. The next day he called & left a message that they do not work on that iPad model, I called back & he told me it was because of the screen. I went to pick it up & what he did was killed the battery. He ran the movie on it & drained the battery completely. Now I can't access anything on it because it will not take a charge. The dumbest thing about the whole situation was I told him it was a iPad 2nd gen (he should've known then they don't work on them)& also he could have looked up the model number & serial number that was on the back of the iPad to confirm it. But I guess these tech's aren't that smart & shouldn't be working on electronic equipment. I know apple doesn't repair older models just to get you to buy new ones. But you can buy other brands of batteries that will work. This was a dick move they did screwing up our iPad & then claiming they don't work on that model. This is a unprofessional company

Directv contracts with MasTec in Ocala,Fl. and so MasTec sent out a service technician to repair the satellite. First I would like to point out that I only know the first name of the service technician that showed up. His name is Michael. (I should have asked him his last name). But the reason I am writing this review is to let you all know that Michael was the most pleasant, professional and knowledgeable service technician that I have come across in a great while. It seems that customer service in most places is non-existant, but MasTec must train their employees well, as I was very impressed. Michael called prior to showing up, showed up on time, was extremely pleasant, explained everything he was doing and showed me what parts failed and why. He quickly troubleshot the problem and figured out why we had no signal and quickly got the satellite working again.
