I might be old but I believe in customer service! I just walked around the entire store looking for a few things that I needed one was a iPhone holder stand for recording, and then other miscellaneous home items. The store was not busy. There was definitely more employees than there were customers at least I saw tons of blue shirts and not one person asked me if I needed help and I did need help, but I figured it out and found it on my own. I could suggest to Best Buy you could let a few people go and be saving some money because most of them were standing around talking not doing anything. I grew up in the restaurant business and customer service was mandatory. Amazon has better value and it comes right to my door read more

I took three older computers to the Geek Squad professional, Gabe, to be recycled. When I asked they wipe the data he said that required an appointment and a charge. But he said he could remove the hard drives for free. I agreed to that. He spent half an hour taking out tiny screws, opening the backs, taking out and handing me the drives and reassembling. I asked why he just didn't put the screws in a baggie (they recycle those as well) and he said he likes to deliver the units in good shape to the recycler. He's an amazing tech and so committed to doing the best he can for external customers like me and the recyclers. This is why I love Best Buy and Geek squad. read more

Awful service in Melbourne Fl store and online. Dropped off my laptop for 2 days to transfer files to new laptop. After the 2 days visited store and spent 3 hours online "elevated" level and still have same issues not all files transferred. Online support staff clueless and in store unfriendly or caring. My annual membership coming up next month for renewal...need to think over. Look up their Google reviews...2.9 which is shameful. Do not recommend signing up with Qeek Squad. read more

I bought a new radio for my car from the Melbourne Best Buy, cost me $400.00 Dollars. Well, I have to fold cards and put them in the right side of what they called a kit, just to keep the whole thing from falling out. Plus they broke my temp. control knob and it barely works because I have to move the knob slow or it comes off. If you like headaches, false promises and last minute delays then this the place for you. After purchasing a $3,000 televison and installation in the store with Daniel on 5/8/2025 I was given a delivery and install of tomorrow 5/23/2025. Mind you I had to pay it in full right to then have to wait 15 days for delivery. Only to receive an email at 5pm today telling me that my appointment didnt exist and if I wanted it delivered and installed I would have to wait two more weeks June 10th. Mind you I have like a dozen emails telling me to get ready for my appointment. So now I will be almost 5 week out before I might see this TV, paying interest for a purchase that I have not even received yet. We cancelled our Memorial day plans to be home for the delivery. Calling and speaking anyone that can really help you? Yeah good luck. I called the listed number for the store only to be told by a Carmen that it was a call center. Apprenely the stores stopped talking any type of customer calls two years ago or something like that. So I couldn't speak with a manager or anyone locally. Best advice I was given but their customer service was, "you can always cancel and try reording it again" Oh yeah and as far as making it right Literally go somewhere else if you are looking for customer service and actual concern to want to make it right. If I could give negative stars believe me I would. read more

I just spent 20 minutes back in the electronics section looking at cords and and adapters while the two individuals working in that area sat and chatted amongst themselves. When they weren't chatting amongst themselves, they were on their phones. I sat back there and eventually ordered what I needed off of Amazon while I watched them. That being said the gentleman at the front door was very helpful.. read more

I ordered a TV back on 7/21 and scheduled for delivery/installation on 8/13--the day after my move to Florida. The morning of the 13th, I get a call from the service tech saying the window would be between 12pm-4pm. At 614pm, I get a call from the same guy saying he wouldn't be able to make it because his last appointment was complicated and took longer than expected. I explained that I just moved to Florida the day before and spent the afternoon waiting for him when I could've been handling other stuff for our move. He assured me that we would be his first appointment the following morning. I called Best Buy customer service that same night for support to see if this was normal protocol for the company. The customer service rep and her manager were no help and apparently they couldn't track down our service tech. This morning, the service techs arrived and attempted to sell us a mount for $180 saying our mount wasn't wide enough for the studs but we used the same mount in my bedroom on the other side of the living room wall without any issues. I never had issues with Best Buy back in my home state but if this is how they conduct business in Florida, it's a hard pass for me moving forward. read more

Unfortunately, you have to pluck a few hairs to get someone to help you. I was looking for a new laptop and there were about 4 guys in this department who were talking in a circle most of the time until a customer came up to THEM to ask them a question rather than them reaching out to assist. By the time I was ready for assistance, they had all disappeared and were no longer available. I went to the front of the store and told the associate there that I wanted to buy a laptop but none of the associates were around. She said she would call someone. Finally, a guy wearing a Gemini shirt helped me (I didn't catch his name). He was incredibly patient while he described the features of the laptops and I stood there thinking. I am super happy with my purchase but it wasnt the most pleasant of visits, overall. read more

National store. This location in particular needs some work. Visiting my parents for Christmas and wanted to get them a new printer. Enter Best Buy! All the newest stuff. Loads of brands and price points for products. Staff are generally knowledgeable but it's a problem to flag them down. Usually one person working the checkout counter. We went in on the 20th of December so peak shopping time. We got what we wanted easy. They had a plethora of printers that did all sorts of magic. Took a stroll to look at their laptops, drones, GoPro items and accessories, Fitbit, headphones, Xbox and PlayStation games. Impressed by the variety and selection but why go to a brick and mortar if you can just click once online and be done? For the customer service. Still it was easy to grab what we needed. Look around. Checkout. Previous reviews mention issues returning items or getting help at all. Keep they in mind when visiting this store. If you know what you want things are simple. If you are walking around looking for help on the purchase decision you will leave with a few new grey hairs. read more

I don't know where to begin, I ordered 3 dash cams for three different vehicles. I called and talked to someone who recommended a model to me so I bought three dash cams, three hard wire kits and three extended warranties but when I looked up the dash cams they could only be mounted to a radar detector! I called to make sure and yes they can only be mounted to a radar detector, they transferred me to a installer or a specialist who would know what to order( sure), I looked the dash cams up with him and he told me everything to order and I did. Approximately a week later I had three reservations for the three cars for the dash cams, I should have listened to my head and the reviews and not gone here but lesson learned!!! I drive an hour from my house and they ordered the wrong hard wire kit! I canceled the order and will pay ANYONE to install these dash cams after I order them from any other store than Best Buy and geek squad and now know why they are both almost out of business! So I wasted 3 hours on a Saturday afternoon for nothing! Do not, I repeat do not use Best Buy or geek squad for anything!! read more

I bought and paid for a car audio unit, and for installation. After a 2 month wait and multiple reminders from BB to not miss the appointment, I got to the store and was told that the unit wasn't available. I had even called BB a week before the installation date and was told that everything was fine. I have spent many thousands of dollars at BB on phones, home theater, etc., but now I'll use BB to look at items I'm interested in and be sure to buy them somewhere else. Oh, and when I called and asked to speak with a supervisor (twice) I was told that one would call me back. Nope. Worst customer service ever! read more

I am extremely upset that I was told that my order is delayed as I was told I would definitely get it on Tuesday, before the hurricane. Today is tuesday and I get a message from Best Buy my package is delayed til between Wednesday and Saturday. One reason I ordered this is that I was told I'd get it on Tuesday, before the hurricane. the message made it appear it was a UPS problem. But UPS tells me they did not get it from Best Buy. I am very disappointed and angry. I needed this to charge my phone if we lose electricity. This particular model could have also charged my computer. I was told I would definitely get it in time and it has not even been brought to UPS. read more

The Geek Squad that came to my home yesterday were not worth the $350.00 we were charged. We spend over $25,000.00 from this store fir TV's, Ring Cameras (8) and other items. Three of the TV's did not sit flush against the wall because they used a regular plug instead of a flat plug. We had them come back out and they replaced two of the plugs and ignored the 3rd TV. They knew the 3rd TV needed a flat plug but they didn't have one in the truck so they ignored it. I discovered it after they left. The rep we are dealing with is off for a month and we have emailed his replacement with no response. I am disappointed and dissatisfied with the lack of care the two Geek Squad people showed. They deliberately ignored the problem and left. At this point I will not shop at BestBuy as the service the Geek Squad provides show's irresponsibility and lack of care. read more

I've been going to this store for years and have had good consistent service each visit. Most recently I had a manufacturer issue with my pc that unfortunately wasn't able to be fixed and ended up needing an exchange. First, Geek Support is not open on Sundays but the person did not tell me that. She answered the phone, kept me on the phone, & listened to my problem. She even tried to sell me a product before she told me that the Geek Squad wasn't there on Sundays. Today, I called not once but twice to get this problem solved. The tech did not know their own URL to log in Webroot. Second, he also thought Webroot & Carbonite accounts were the same (even after I told him that I had webroot only.) I told him I thought you had to pay for Carbonite & he said that you do. He also thought I needed a product. It went on so I said goodbye & hung up. I called back this afternoon only to have a similiar problem with someone wondered if I bought the Webroot from there (where else?) & I knew I was in trouble. She also did not listen to what I was telling her. I got home & called to speak to their manager only to find out that apparently you can't speak to the manager. I asked to speak to the manager & the recording will not let you (no matter how many different ways you ask). Sorry for being so long but they apparently are more interested in selling products & not listening. The manager is also not into customer-service apparently. Sad... read more

I needed a last minute (as in, day of, no shipping possible) iPad/computer but I knew going in that having never owned one, I had no idea what exactly I wanted or even what I was looking at. Luckily, Dyllan was one of the associates that was working that day! He was AMAZING. Some of the best customer service I've ever had. He was extremely helpful but not at all pushy. He was patient and walked me all over the store showing me what different items did until we had a better idea of what I was looking for. And he really knew his stuff, was able to answer every single question I had and tell me which items had sales going on. I am very happy with my purchase. Exactly what I needed. Thank you Dyllan!!! The geek squad and their repair center in Tennessee engage in dishonest, unprofessional, and incompetent business practices. I strongly discourage you from utilizing their services. I also wish to warn you that, should you solicit their help, you are likely to be the victim of negligent and unethical treatment. Upon my arrival, I was treated very rudely by the geek squad manager, Sherry for not having made a reservation. I was kept waiting even after all customers with reservations were assisted. I was eventually given an estimate of $90 for a minor hinge repair. A hinge repair - Nothing at all to do with the computer itself. It was just a hinge. Unable to make this simple repair themselves, my laptop had to be shipped to their repair center in Tennessee. It sat there for a week before I was notified that the estimate had increased to $650. Of course, I refused this estimate and demanded that my laptop be immediately returned to the Melbourne store to be picked up by me. At the time of pickup, the geek squad rep said that the policy of Dell and the repair center is to replace the computer screen whenever there is damage to the hinge of the laptop, regardless of whether or not there is damage to the laptop screen. In addition to finding this absurd, I was dismayed that neither Sherry nor the store rep. had informed me of this alleged policy when I brought the laptop in for service, knowing full well that their estimate was grossly underestimated. Throughout this experience, I dealt with the incompetence of Best Buy's phone answering system and each of the representative I eventually spoke to. It actually took me two days of continually calling and suffering through a phone tree intended to make it nearly impossible to speak to a human before I was able to speak to an actual representative. The first rep put me on hold, then disconnected me. The second and third reps, from an outsourced call center, did their best within the limits of the faulty system and inadequate training. And, of course, after all of this, no one was responsible for anything. Best Buy has set up a system designed to "pass the buck," so that, no matter how diligent you are, you will never get a first-hand explanation for anything. (Shame on Best Buy, and shame on Dell Computers). I have since found a mom-and-pop repair center that will make the repair for a minimal charge - without replacing my screen - without a month in limbo - without the harassment and neglect. I strongly advise you to do the same. read more

NEVER AGAIN! NEVER! Will never again buy from Best Buys. Shipping times seem to me like a scam. I don't think Best Buys ever intended to get the TV to me when they said. And Best Buys won't let me cancel the order so I can go out and buy a TV before Christmas when my family will be here. So no merry Christmas here. First the ad said my TV would be delivered that day, Dec 18. On the order page, it said the TV would arrive Dec 20. On the supposed delivery date - Dec 18 - I get an email the TV is delayed and if I don't get it by Jan 3, they will cancel the order! But I can't cancel the order. What? So I can't go out and buy a TV before Christmas when my family will be here. Tracked the TV and it still has not shipped. This is the absolute worst company I have ever purchased anything from! Over the last three years I have spent over $20,000 at the Melbourne store. I'm extremely disappointed in the geek squad. I have had technical support there for over three years on my computers and T.V's - it doesn't cover a damn thing - Total waste of money! This company already had one star so why aren't they trying harder? The manager was totally disrespectful and rude! She looked like she just got out of bed with her hair a mess and dressed like she was homeless. No wonder there aren't any more Best Buy's in Brevard County. And one more thing... I ordered a garbage disposal and had it installed by Best Buy's. I had the geek squad program that I had bought earlier in the year and that is why the decision was made to go with Best Buy's, because it was free install. Well sometimes you get what you pay for, In this case I sure did! My first install date was February 3, which they canceled the day before. The second install date was 8 February and after they completed the job, that evening I had done my dishes, and notice a leak from the garbage disposal. It was too late to call Best Buy's so called first thing in the morning, was put on hold and they never came back on the line. Ended up going to Best Buy's and they said they would get someone out to fix that day. Long story short they didn't show up. I went back to Best Buy's that late afternoon and they said I couldn't get on schedule not till the 17 of February. This means being without the sink in the kitchen for a week and a half unacceptable. After arguing and a few choice words, they finally decide to come out on the 10 February at 8:30 in the morning and they fix the issue, but was not worth the hassle or disrespect to the customer. After all done the issue was, they had damage the pipe to the disposal which was causing leak! I have to say thanks to the follow who fixed the issue and were very courteous and kind and couldn't apologize enough for the issues that I had experience.
