This place is a joke. I picked out a refrigerator and when it was delivered it was another one that was dented and they wanted ME to bring it back. The driver just left it outside without even a knock on the door. You get what you pay for with this place and I know better but wanted to save a little less than Home Depot. Like I said, they are a joke. I'm an avid reader of the BBB and I missed this one. A 1.2 rating will tell you enough and after reading a lot of the reviews, it was all similar to my experience. Matt, the store manager, was so friendly and helped me find the products that were simple and a good fit for my situation. He even offered to beat the Home Depot quote I had brought with me, by $100~$200 dollars! They delivered my new washer and dryer the next day! Felipe, the delivery man, not only called me and left a voice mail, but also sent me a text with his ETA. The 4-foot dryer cord was too short for my set-up, so Felipe let me run to Home Depot to get the proper 6-foot cord, which he swapped out, and then completed the installation by running both machines to assure proper functioning. Purchased a whirlpool counter dept refrigerator for almost $1800 in November of 2025, when it was delivered the delivery guys stated the wheels were not turning and the holders inside the door for dressing the 2 smaller ones were missing , I called the store several times and they said 'yes' that I can pick up the smaller holders, however everytime I called to say I was coming, they said they did not have it. when I called them repeatedly about the wheels under the fridge that were not working, they said the time has passed for them to come fix it and to call whirlpool. I called whirlpool and they want to charge a service fee to come out an look a the fridge. I purchased a 4 year warranty for what? now whirlpool is trying to sell me another warranty. I will never buy here again, I also purchased a washer dryer for around 1600 and in the past a washer for around 500. no customer service here, they dont care about you after they sell and deliver and the delivery guys do not care at all about you or tell you the appliance is broken or has problems upon installation. I found my refrigerator had stopped working shortly before having to head to work on a Friday (a few weeks ago). I walked into the Appliance Direct around 6:30 that evening. I walked out with an appointment for delivery set for Saturday. Brock and I raced around looking at all that met my needs and I ended up with a beautiful Whirlpool counter depth, French door refrigerator that is a perfect fit for our space and was a steal at the price. Delivery was made on the early end of our window and was completed smoothly and professionally. I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Had to return the dryer I bought 3 weeks ago. The dryer was considered used because of the installer. Had to wait 30 minutes by sale person named Brock Gual. Told me to come back in 30 minutes or come back tomorrow. He wasn't able to do the return since he did not sell me the dryer. He was rude, and gave the refund back only for the dryer and not the plug or the vent since he claimed it was used to install the dryer by the installer. I paid for the cord and vent and did not get that refund back and also restocking fee. I paid $471 total and getting back the refund in couple of days for only$276.41. I thought I needed a new dryer ,it turned out to be a bad outlet. I did not need a new dryer I bought 3 weeks ago. Very disappointed with the run around we have been receiving from Appliance Direct and their extended warranty company New Leaf. This washing machine(Samsung ) was purchased two years ago and is no longer functioning. Washing machines last from 10-13 years not two. New Leaf sent Goodman Home Solutions and based on Goodmans recommendation should have either replaced the machine or provided us with a store credit due to a nonworking motherboard. Since a replacement motherboard is expensive a replacement was suggested. It has been close to a month ( April 22, 2025) since the machine has not been functioning. New Leaf indicates there will be a store credit (but no amount and no check date) and Appliance Direct doesn't even want to get involved. Do right by your customers so that you can have repeat business. A resolution is what is needed. read more

We purchased a Whirlpool Oven and Dishwasher from Appliance Direct in Melbourne. While pricing and sales service was as we expected from our prior purchase at the Merritt Island store the installation team from Melbourne was very disappointing. The oven and dishwasher were delivered together. The installation crew was unable to figure out how to remove the oven and needed a "more trained team" that came 3 days later and handled the install. The dishwasher was installed by the original install team and was not installed correctly as the entire machine tipped forward each time the door was opened. We mad 3 calls to have it rectified and each time the Appliance Direct employee said, "we'll schedule a date and call you later today with a time." NO-call -NO- Date. After four weeks of the runaround, we hired a handyman to correctly install the dishwasher. read more

Incredibly rude salesman, Santos. He told me he would match the delivery fee for the Malabar Store. When I looked at the bill it was what he first quoted me and when I asked about it he said he was trying to meet me halfway. When I said he lied to me he said no I didn't, I can't change the computer. When I questioned him more, because the delivery fee was broken up with one charge of $35 and another one of $55, he started walking away and said it's been a long day and I can either leave or cancel the sale! It was 4:30 on 5/5/23. He also said it was possible that Malabar might be closed when I got there because they close early and that it happened to other customers. I canceled the sale!! Most of the Refrigerators on the Floor were "Red Tag" Prices, meaning Damaged. I saw one Yellow Tag that means "In the Box". That's how the Representative there explained to me. They have a lot of stuff, but I was seeking new. They don't crowd you with sales pitches while you are there, I was concerned about that, but they left you alone. Be careful with these people - they are all smiles when they are selling you, but when I needed help, all of a sudden they were busy. In my case, I specifically told the salesman that I needed a gas stove to work on propane. Think he might have mentioned that I needed a conversion kit? Nooooooo. Appliance Direct leads you directly to a dishonest corporate sales manager who lies about delivery fees and times. At no point was there a way for any confusion to occur as my question was "Can we get this delivered today?" "Yeah. It'll be $75.". We went ahead with the purchase, but we're charged $110. Partly due to weather our fridge was not delivered the same. Had the fridge been delivered at the time we were told, it would've missed the rain. This was not the delivery man's fault, but the salesperson's misleading information. I will never shop there again, nor will I recommend anyone going there. Salesman strong-arm specific models they want to unload, not what was advertised and what we wanted to purchase by claiming "we no longer carry that" after website claimed was still stock same day. Prices OK, but "savings" appear to what they reduce from MSRP vs. what others sell...most items we pre-researched and wanted were at, or even higher, than big-box stores or other independent retailer. We bought all new appliances that actually would have been a little cheaper from Home Depot with the military discount but we were already there and had picked out what we wanted so we went ahead and purchased them there. When they delivered our stuff them seemed to be in a bit of a hurry. They were careful with our new white tile floors and made an effort to keep the door closed while they were outside getting things ready (which I appreciated because we have a dog and cat, and it was a million degrees outside) so when they were finished I tipped them 50 bucks. They were polite, said thank you and left. After they left I went to get the refrigerator cleaned up and ready to use. There was part of a thick plastic wrap still stuck to the front of one of the doors. It looks like it melted onto the door after sitting in a hot warehouse or something. I tried for 3 hours to get it off. The delivery guys knew it was there and never said a word to me. I called the store multiple times but got the run around. It's been a year now and they have yet to even talk to me about making this right. They did give me suggestions on getting the stuff off the door, like I'm a moron who has no idea how to clean. We purchased a new KitchenAid dishwasher and paid extra to have Appliance Direct install it. Even though the installer did an "installation check", the dishwasher never worked. From the first time we tried to run a wash it has not worked. When I called Appliance Direct, the man didn't even apologize or offer to help in anyway. He just brusquely said I had to call the manufacturer. The manufacturer (Whirlpool/Kitchenaid) arranged for a service technician to come and they determined it had a faulty motor. I am now waiting for an out of stock part to become available... So it's going on a month and I have no dishwasher. Manufacturer said if after three weeks they can't find the part then they might consider replacing the machine. And they offered to extend the warranty by three months read more

Don't be distracted by the funny commercials. Went to Appliance Direct to get a new set of appliances- Fridge, dishwasher, and oven. Upon entering the store I was greeted by a sales rep, Guy. Upon the sale he seemed very helpful but he spoke quickly and rushed through the pricing / delivery information. I asked multiple times if the final price included delivery and installation and we both were in agreement. Upon my appliances being delivered I was told that I owed an additional $150. I immediately called the store because that's not what was agreed upon. I went right to the store to talk to Guy in person due to this misunderstanding and was completely blown off. Guy was rude and disrespectful. In mid conversation he took a phone call and walked away after stating he had done this for 20 years and would have never made that statement. do not buy anything from appliance direct in melbourne!! they sell defective merchandise and wont replace it!! i purchased a new side by side whirlpool refrigerator and 3 days later its still wont go down to the fda required 40 degrees even on the highest setting.  i reached out to the store manager anthony "trace" perri via text the day after  my delivery when he didn't answer my call and after he had his completely empty floor model/same as mine plugged in and down to 40 degrees in under 3 hours he still refused to replace my defective refrigerator. he never showed any empathy or offered any appology for the inconvenience of not being able to use a brand new $1200 refrigerator.  he spent 3 hours texting me continuously asking me where i had my thermometer located inside my refrigerator.  never once did he offer a solution. i called him a second time after 3 hours of texting with him asking me where the thermometer was placed in the refrigerator when i had alreadyanswered that questionthe first 2 times and i told him i wanted a new refrigerator and he hung up on me. after he hung up on me he text me offering to send a technician to fix what's supposed to be a brand new refrigerator. i told him yet again i want it replaced with a new working refrigerator.  i emailed the owner sam pak at his online listed email address sam@appliancedirect.com and got no response.  they deliberately sell defective/faulty merchandise and refuse to replace it!!! this is a scam!!! paid for a brand new working side by side whirlpool refrigerator and got a defective refrigerator that 3 days later wont go down to the fda required 40 degrees! it's useless!! read more

My husband and I were in Florida January 2020 and were having our kitchen remodeled and we told the salesman we were purchasing the appliances but were leaving for NewYork the following day and the contractor would let them in to deliver the end of January. The contractor did not complete the kitchen till the end of March. I am still in the New York and I had my nephew come to the condo to stay a few days, he was the first to use the stove and before he did he went to get new pots because the stovetop required a certain brand. Their delivery people broke the water faucet that fed my washing machine, told me to find my own plumber, I had to fight to get them to say they would reimburse me then they said it would be the next day before they could finish the install. I informed them I already had appointments and needed a two hour window, can't do that I was told repeatedly then said will do what he can. They are subcontractors and it it their schedule. Um don't the work for you? I have absolutely NO FATH this will be finished tomorrow and I am a truck driver and am leaving. The first two were fine, in fact the fridge I was replacing was purchased from them 16 years ago.... but this purchase has turned out to be a an ongoing nightmare. The purchase was easy, they were happy to take my money for the appliance package I picked out. I was thrilled when they said they could deliver the next day. Then the trouble started..... they caused damage to my home and even damaged the products being delivered. The hassle of getting things taken care of started immediately after the delivery with my phone call to the store and is still continuing today, 2 months later. After a big box store delivered 3 damaged refrigerators (over a three week period) to my son's new house - we gave up! We decided to call Appliance Direct to see if they could help us. Within 2 days they delivered the same exact same refrigerator and installed it! Worked fine for 3 months and then it stopped cooling. Immediately, they hooked us up with a very good repair service who came right out and diagnosed it: compressor went bad! After only 3 months! Anyway, repair company kept up with us and told us expected delivery of new compressor by a certain date. Then they contacted us again and said they were calling around and trying to get the part but they could not locate one and the factory could no longer give us a date. How long can we go without a refrigerator? I called Appliance Direct and glad I did! They arranged an exact replacement and expect to deliver in a day or two. We specifically asked if the refrigerator we were looking at was in stock and in the back. The Salesman walked in the back and said it was definitely in stock and so was the dishwasher. We explained at length that Lowes hadn't been able to deliver items for a while and why we were shopping for an in stock item. So we bought it and said we would come back the next day to pick it up. My husband drives to get them today and they said the Fridge is gone and they never had any and our Salesman was gone and the other one named Guy was short with my husband and rude. Just stating that," He made a mistake and I don't know what you want me to do and that other salesman has done that before and he tries to sale like a car salesman." That's an odd statement and is very telling of how they all are with each other sadly. Offered very little in help and said there was a delivery coming tomorrow. SO if they do not get one, we'll drive back up there and just get our refund. They did have the dishwasher in and so my husband grabbed that luckily. It's so sad to be lied to, after we spent about $1900. To which they did not care about us after they made the sale. Over the past 20 years my wife and I have purchased at least 4 appliances from this company. Four years ago we purchased a Maytag clothes washing machine. We also purchased the warranty sold "in house" which covered 4 years. The manager at that time told us that Appliance Direct would notify us when the warranty was about to expire so we could extend it if we wanted. We were also told that if we did not use the warranty in the initial period, a percentage would be rebated to us on the purchase of the new extension. We were not notified of the expiration of the original warranty, lost the promised rebate, and can not extend it as promised. The management and owner have been very rude when we approached them and stated that the person who told us the above at purchase was no longer with the company and was a "liar". There are many other options when buying appliances these days and we will certainly not shop here or support them in any way. read more

I was very disappointed to Appliance Direct. First hard sell. Hate that but went ahead anyway. But then installation was terrible. I'm on my third repair call after two weeks. I seemed to have a "unique" situation, according to installer because I have a "thin" granite counter and glass at the side so he couldn't install it properly. He said I had to hire a granite person to install a gismo to mount it properly. Funny, the warranty guy on the machine disagreed and said it was a simple fix. What the heck. Their response was that Maytag washers make that noise. I told him I want to return it because I don't want it if it makes the extra loud noise. Their response was they don't take used washers. After checking the regular places for appliances was disappointed as none could deliver within 10 days ... even when the item we wanted was in stock .... including the place that advertises next day delivery if this is the case. AND delivery WITH installation was WAY less than similar from the 'usual places'. Inside the store is certainly not fancy but I've no complaints about price or service so far. I'm a new fan ....
