I went back to where I made the purchase and they told me once the tint is in there's nothing they can do. In my distressed state I stopped at this store on Palm Bay road before you get to Babcock. Terry an associate in the store greeted my wife and I. I explained to him my situation, he asked that I bring him a can of this paint, from then he added some other colors and remixed to a beautiful burnt dark orange, he asked if we liked the color. Once he got our approval, than he remixed the other nine gallons. We are very thankful to Sherwin Williams for allowing great dedicated staff as Terry and his associates to service the public. All the while she was extremely nice and helpful. I forgot to mention that I had come in close to their closing time, and not once did she make me feel like I was inconveniencing her. I go into Lowe's to buy a few things, when I get to the checkout, which is self checkout ... I scan…read moremy items and try to ask for the military discount. The lady told me I had to put my number in... I did and it didn't give it to me. She called a manager, and they said they can't give it to me until I register online. I had my ID in my hand, but that's not good enough. You have to get verified online otherwise they won't give you the discount. So disappointing and frustrating. I did not buy the items I came for. The crazy part is I was going to write up a positive review because I saw so many things that support the military... hence the photos I first took. But this is terrible service. "You have to pay for your things now without your discount but you can go online and register for it for further purchases". I used to be able to just show my ID card for the discount. Why would I want to return after this inconvenience and terrible customer service? I believe in technology and the world moving forward with progress, but sometimes common sense has to play into things and there should still be a way to show my military ID card and get my discount. What about the elderly vets who don't understand how to do things online? I guess they just don't ever get their discount. Why not set up a computer in store that people can register in person by showing their actual ID? Instead you tell them they can't get it for this purchase because they have no way to help you. Makes you wonder if they don't do this to prevent some of us from receiving it... makes more money for them. Seems awful convenient they have made it difficult for us to get it the discount.
