I went to Lowe's today. It's been awhile and I have to say, I was impressed today. Jody was fantastic in the lumber section and Eddy was great in the paint department. Both salesmen knew their stuff and very helpful. Checking out, I didn't catch the young lady's name; she had blue hair. She was very helpful in self checkout. Using multiple gift cards for paying and she was a Godsend with her lucky penny scrapping off the PIN. Thank you for some great workers helping me today. read more

I go into Lowe's to buy a few things, when I get to the checkout, which is self checkout ... I scan my items and try to ask for the military discount. The lady told me I had to put my number in... I did and it didn't give it to me. She called a manager, and they said they can't give it to me until I register online. I had my ID in my hand, but that's not good enough. You have to get verified online otherwise they won't give you the discount. So disappointing and frustrating. I did not buy the items I came for. The crazy part is I was going to write up a positive review because I saw so many things that support the military... hence the photos I first took. But this is terrible service. "You have to pay for your things now without your discount but you can go online and register for it for further purchases". I used to be able to just show my ID card for the discount. Why would I want to return after this inconvenience and terrible customer service? I believe in technology and the world moving forward with progress, but sometimes common sense has to play into things and there should still be a way to show my military ID card and get my discount. What about the elderly vets who don't understand how to do things online? I guess they just don't ever get their discount. Why not set up a computer in store that people can register in person by showing their actual ID? Instead you tell them they can't get it for this purchase because they have no way to help you. Makes you wonder if they don't do this to prevent some of us from receiving it... makes more money for them. June 5, 2026: Pro desk to order 2x4s and plywood. Waited for associate to make plans for her mother's birthday party (wish I remembered her name), then ordered ~$350 worth of materials, plywood was to be cut into 2x8 pieces, associate said she entered cutting info into delivery comments section. June 6: Materials were delivered by 8:30. Plywood UNCUT. Spoke in person to a lumber associate that afternoon, he told me no such notes were written. My wife verified that she said they were. Lumber associate said he would have the plywood picked up, cut and redelivered on Monday, June 8. Plywood was picked up at 8:30ish on Monday. On Tuesday morning, I called Lowes 12, yes, 12 times to get a return status. 5 times, no answer, 2 times, transferred to the wrong department, 4 times Randy? couldn't hear me and hung up. 1 time I got a person who took my number and said a lumber associate would call me back. 9:30 a lumber person called and said they considered my order too small to be handled right away and asked if Thursday was OK. I had no choice and accepted. Next time, Home Depot will get my business. read more

I'm quite surprised to see the number of negative reviews for this Home Depot store. My wife and I moved here full time from Nashville in 2017 and have shopped here numerous times without disappointment. Our latest experience involved purchasing a new washing machine. A sales associate named Christopher was extremely helpful to us, not only explaining all the differences between the options available to us, but once we'd settled on our final purchase, he was able to help us get some additional discounts. He was also extremely helpful in getting us set up for the delivery and installation of our new washing machine. I have no problem whatsoever with recommending this Home Depot. read more

Visited the store today, looking for birdseed, and the birdseed department was atrocious. Apparently, they have a rat problem and have made the attempt to enclose the birdseed bags in plastic containers, which seems like a good idea, however, in practice, it is not! The tops of the plastic containers were covered with rodent urine, I suppose, and other dirt. To access the seed inside, you have to actually touch the surfaces where rodents have traveled. Much of the seed inside was rotten, showed signs of insect infestation, and I observed live worms within the bags. Suffice to say that it creates an unhealthy and hazardous situation for customers being exposed to rodent excrement and urine. I certainly wouldn't feed my wild birds anything from the store. Lowes, you can do much much better here. This department deserves a one star rating, but I will give the store overall a five. read more

We have been Home Depot's customers for years, but lately we changed to shop at Lowe's due to low quality of service at Home Depot...hoping for better services here. More helpers on the floor but not sure about quality, maybe just one bad apple?...the guy told us that he only gonna do one cut, if he does more cuts the management would yell at him and he would have to "here" all day to help with the wood cutting...how would that make you feel? I took my Dad here to buy a few items he needed. One employee we asked for help from was helpful but while helping us another employee told him someone else needed help so he had to leave us. Then when checking out my Dad had a couple of gift cards he wanted to use and we went to self checkout they didn't work. The guy tried helping us and said he didn't know what was wrong but to go to the customer service counter because he never had that problem. My dad ended up just paying cash and we went over to the customer service where 2 women were standing talking to each other. When I asked if I could get some help with the cards they acted like it was a bother. They told me he'd have to go to a different register next time or back to them to cash out using the cards, they did write the balance on both so my Dad knows what's on them. What a hassle! Hopefully it will go smoother next time my Dad goes to use them. read more

Very disappointed ! Especially after I make 3-4 trips here a week! For years. Spending lots! But the "new" return policy is horrible. And the manager here today- 10-7-23 was NOT helpful. Hard. Cold. Who cares kind of attitude. I used to choose L over HD. But. Guess that's gonna change ToDAY! Im so shocked at the staff. Of course the service rep was just an hourly. But! I don't recommend buying an appliance here. They gave me the run around for appx 9 months. Nobody ever knew where my order was or when I would receive it. I was promised a $300 gift card for my troubles, but all the supervisors conveniently forgot about it. I asked for a manager to call me back but I was told that they are all too busy for me. LOWE'S is not a stand-up company--multiple misrepresentations, failure to provide product as ordered, delivery of defective units-originals and replacements, reckless disregard for customer concerns. Result: significant stress, loss of any progress, loss of contractors who have moved to other jobs, and substantial out-of-pocket expenses. Bought double vanity, multiple storage units and tower through Lowe's. Eight large pieces all manufactured by KraftMaid. Lowe's order taker failed to order as directed. All delivered units were either defective (cracks in structure, doors opened wrong way, sink units could not accommodate sinks) or had nicks and other marks. All pieces returned with representations that replacements to be expedited. That did not occur. Instead, months later received defective replacement units (cracks in structure, cracked or broken components). It is now almost seven months later, and Lowe's has failed to deliver a product that can be assembled and installed. No response, NONE, from Lowe's corporate consumer relations. It is 26 days and counting since the store manager wrote on May 22, 2023: "I will reach out to you tomorrow." read more

LEAKING WASHER INSTALLATION - Purchased a new washing machine from Lowes and had them install the unit with new connections from their store. The water lines developed leaks in a couple weeks. The significant damage is under the house (raised) where the garage ceiling collapsed on my car. Called Lowes and someone took the information and then the next day I went to the store and talked to a Manager at the service counter and also walked back to the appliance area and talked to a couple associates. Yelp said that it was open until 10:00pm. 3 minutes into trying on getting some one attention, I got the attention of this young guy called Justin. Justin is an assistant manager and listened to me explain that I was there and although the store was close I wonder why Yelp said it was opened. Justin went ahead and explained and after all still helped me with my 3 min transaction. I am so glad that Justin was working tonight and professional to helped me. Before going to the store. I checked to see if the item I wanted was in stock. It was 26 according to the app. Located the aisle and bin no item to be found. I asked the employee stocking in the aisle where I might find the item barely grunted at me, never stopped what they were doing to help me find the item. I went to customer service to see if they could help. I was told yes the item was in stock should be where the app said it was and would send someone to help. No one every should up. Went to Home Depot just down the road found everything I needed in less time then I spent at Lowes getting nothing. Great in-store effort but disappointing microwave installation support. This is my go-to place for home repair. The staff is excellent and always informed and helpful. If it were just the store I would give them 5 stars every time. This last time I bought a new microwave and paid for installation. I set up a time and when the day came, the person to install did NOT. They said they had called but there was no message, no call and no phone number. I checked on the ticket and my phone number was correct. When we called the store said that the person had attempted to contact us. That was not true. I ended up cancelling the installation, picking up the microwave and installing it myself (saving $135). read more

The 10% veterans discount is always appreciated as well as the veterans parking spots. They walk the talk when it comes to recognizing military service. I also like the 6:00am opening. So I went there to exchange the 2 damaged fixtures but they wouldn't exchange them because their price on them was higher! Made me take a credit and had to buy them at a much higher price! I just need to share my extreme disappointment and frustration with Lowe's. We purchased a dishwasher, refrigerator, and the warranties for these appliances on Nov 1st. From what I understand, the dishwasher needed to be on its own transaction due to the installation. Later in the week, I discovered that the refrigerator was on sale. I called customer service and asked if there was any way to do a price adjustment. They had no problem doing so. This was completed on Thursday November 6th. On Friday, we received the refund for the price difference. Since we hadn't heard anything about delivery, we called Lowe's Saturday morning. Lowe's told us that they could not find the transaction in their system. We were now panicked that our order was missing. We called multiple times and were put on hold multiple times as the employees spent an hour trying to find our order. Instead of waiting around, we went back to the store with all our receipts. Long story short, after going through multiple employees and a manager, we found that one of their employees decided on Friday to refund and cancel our order for our refrigerator and warranties. We were not notified of this and had we not gone to the store, no one would have told us. Now we were left with no refund money (we still do not have the refund money), no refrigerator, and a dishwasher with no warranty. The service from the store was absolutely horrid as they told us they couldn't help us and we would need to wait for our money to be returned so we can they repurchase our appliance. We are so extremely angry with Lowe's for ruining our appliance order and I cannot believe that they are hiring such incompetent employees that would decide that it makes sense to cancel an entire $2000+ order for absolutely no reason without permission from the customer. This kind of awful service is unacceptable when trying to run a business. We will be only shopping with home depot from this point on. read more

Do not buy equipment from lowes. They contract out to Roth electronics. We had a new washer/dryer installed 4 months. Washer broke 13 days ago. Per lowes,after we called for ETA, Roth electronics was coming today. After speaking to Greg,owner of Roth electronics, he has my part but cannot guarantee when they can come to fix my washer. He also could not call us personally,after 13 days of waiting for a part, to confirm an appointment or tell me when someone would come out. He's the owner and he can't give me information? Very disappointed, I purchased a full line of Samsung Kitchen appliances from the store located at 2150 Minton Rd, Melbourne, FL 32904. During my purchase I was asked if I was interested in a three year extended warranty which would begin to take effect after the one year manufactures warranty ended. My husband and I decided to purchase the warranty. Since our purchase we have had continuous issues from both our refrigerator and our range. We have had them repaired almost a dozen times now. Aside from those frustrations, my biggest disappointment was learning that the sales person had given us incorrect information. I called in to make yet another claim on my range yesterday and was informed that my warranty is no longer active. I asked why it was inactive and was told that it was expired. I was then informed that my warranty started on the date of my purchase and that it did not in fact start after the one year manufactures warranty ended. I think it is very unfair and unacceptable to sell a warranty with incorrect information. It is also unfair and unacceptable to start a warranty on the date of purchase when my delivery was so far delayed due to the store not having my appliances in stock. Needless to say, I intend to take my business elsewhere from now on. read more
