THEN as I am walking to my truck, I realized the qt can was drizzling paint all over me and was leaving a trail on the ground as I walked. The lid was not secured properly. I returned into the store. The man who sold me the paint opened the can and decided it was not enough to warrant a new can. I should have argued but I was just overwhelmed standing there with paint all over my hands, clothes and purse. A second gentleman did try to wipe the paint off my purse but to no avail. I walked out with paint all over me and everything I was wearing destroyed. The man who sold me the paint could not have cared less. After walking out I stopped and realized that I now have to spend more money to replace everything I was wearing, had to find a way not to get paint all of my truck and paid almost $40 for that little can of paint. I returned this time respectfully asking for the manager. I was told by the man who sold me the paint that he could refund me the cost of the quart of paint and I could keep the paint. I agreed. BUT again I stopped...why should I now need to replace my CROCS, jeans, jacket, purse and the shirt my grandaughter made me for Christmas, that were damaged as a result of the negligence of the employee who sold me the paint. I then went online to check pricing at other hardware stores...they were all HALF THE PRICE! I cannot speak to the service at other Sherwin Williams stores BUT the price of the paint sold by them is a scam! BEWARE!

It's so thick you can roll over pinholes and Tac nail holes flawlessly. The paint literally covers and fills the hole, you can also do this on small cracks. Other brands run right over the hole at the crack a trip down the wall if you put them on too thick. Color matching! These guys are good! They don't just point a laser at it and say this is color. They actually test the color and remix as necessary until the color is spot-on. They have color matched pieces of plastic from pinball machines for me, the color matched a tiny flake of wood from a cabinet but I was repairing. Service is always great, usually greeted right away and helped as soon as it's my turn. I've never had a problem with Sherwin Williams. They offer coupons on the regular! Get on them coupons a penny saved is a penny earned. With the Sherwin-Williams coupon the more expensive Sherwin-Williams paint becomes the same price as Home Depots watercolor paint buckets.

I rather shop here over the big box stores any day! Everyone is so helpful! If I want to buy a specialty screw I can buy just one instead of a dozen. Every employee I interact with is cool even when a bunch of nubs come in all in a panic because of a hurricane. Six stars to counter balance the one star reviews from the nubs. All the while she was extremely nice and helpful. I forgot to mention that I had come in close to their closing time, and not once did she make me feel like I was inconveniencing her. Every time since I have been in she has been extremely helpful, and leaves me thinking to myself, "how great would it be if everyone's employees were so helpful and nice."
