FANTASTIC Experience! We have been working out of our home since March of 2020 so we decided now would finally be the time to upgrade the kitchen to one we had been dreaming of for many years. We did our homework, read reviews and visited the S&W Kitchens Showroom in Melbourne, Florida. We were greeted by Laura Scott who was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and honest, which made it easy to quickly develop a trust relationship with her. Laura ultimately became our Designer and as she gathered our requirements, she listened to all of our wish lists and concerns, and she shared lessons learned to help guide our decision making. She offered excellent suggestions and ultimately created a design that far exceed our expectations and enhanced the layout and function of the original blueprint. She also provided quick and timely communication throughout the entire process. Laura delivered on every promise she made, and she routinely stopped by to check in on the progress and make sure our expectations were being met. We had a pre-construction meeting at our home where we met the various superintendents and project managers that would be overseeing the job. We were provided with documentation that included all of our diagrams and decisions, and a thorough timeline of when we could expect events to occur. They offered expert advice on what to expect and answered all of our questions. They even were considerate of our dogs and ensured us of their safety. Our Project Superintendent, Vinny Mallo, provided excellent communication on scheduled workdays and arrival times. He worked closely with the crews and provided thorough oversight. The crews (demo, plumbing, electrical, cabinet install, backsplash tile, countertops) were extremely professional and provided quality work in a timely manner. From the virtually invisible seams on the beautiful quartz countertops to the expertly laid intricate backsplash tile, we were so impressed with the quality of work. They were always on time and presented virtually no disruptions to us, even in our telework environment. We were also impressed with how clean they kept the environment, hauling away debris at the end of the work days, and keeping all of our areas orderly. Bottom line...we are EXTREMELY happy, highly recommend Laura Scott, and S&W Kitchens and would definitely use their services again. read more

We were fortunate to have Laura Scott and Dale Thomas create a gorgeous master bathroom for us where none existed before. There wasn't any existing plumbing and the electrical had to be totally redone as it wasn't up to code. We live in an old 1935 house and they turned what used to be a very small 10 x 5 enclosed front porch into a spa like retreat. It definitely was an adventure as we encountered many stumbling blocks along the way as one does when challenged with renovating an old home. You never know what you might uncover including a few extra layers of floors, extra layers of ceiling and extra layers of walls. The original design would have been beautiful but because of all the adjustments we had to make the design morphed and developed along the way and it came out even better than the original plan and I wouldn't change a thing or the process that got us here. Laura was fabulous to work with and from the moment we met her we felt like we had known each other for years. She was such a joy to work with and we felt that we were always on the same page when it came to coming up with materials or ideas. She definitely got our vision. I couldn't have asked for a better team. Dale our construction guru was incredible when it came to having awesome and unique ideas that fit perfectly with not only our style but the style of the house. We kept having to change materials and adding and subtracting things and he was always so creative but always keeping in mind the era of the house and the fact that we were trying to stay true to that and we had a great time feeding ideas off of each other with the end result that the finished product was something we can all be very proud of. We are glad the we used S and W to do our kitchen and flooring remodel! We reached out to them after a friend had used them for two separate remodels. They had worked with Laura Scott for both projects, and we were fortunate to find Laura actually at the Wickham Road showroom when we dropped by. For this project we provided a general wish list of changes, and provided some photos of our existing space. Before charging us anything, Laura and the construction estimator Robert Husband came out to photograph and measure our space. From that information, she developed a preliminary design for us. She cheerfully made changes that we requested, and met with us several times to assist in picking out cabinet styles and colors, flooring, hardware, countertops, backsplashes, etc. When we asked for suggestions, we got them, and when we stated our selections, they were welcomed. Once the construction started, we only had the dumpster in our driveway for a few days. This was a significant redo, with everything in the kitchen, and the tile flooring, being replaced. S and W uses a lot of subcontractors, including some from the Orlando area, and the project was run by a single construction manager, Stephan Preisendanz. All of the subcontractors and S and W employees did good work, and were respectful while working in our home. There were few issues that came up during the construction, but all were resolved quickly and amiably. Be advised that a project like this takes a significant amount of time. The design phase took about 4 months, and it was just under 5 months from signed contract to project start. The kitchen was functional at the 3 1/2 month mark, and punch list items completed at just over 4 months after start. read more

15 December 2022 After doing such a nice job with our kitchen in 2019, we decided it was time to enlist S&W to update our bathrooms that were sorely in need of change-out after 36 years. Once again Laura Scott took the project helm and guided us through the design process of color, cabinet, tile, fixture, and accessories selection. She is so easy to work with. Her knowledge of fixtures from years in the business was invaluable and she has a wonderful sense of color. She also brings a good eye for detail, both in her planning and execution of the work. The S&W work team is so courteous and pleasant to have around. Their work quality is very, very good. They are careful how they work and try to minimize the inevitable dust and debris that accompanies a remodeling project. They were also good about cleaning up after themselves. I was amazed that they were able to wrangle the old tub out and the new tub in through a somewhat challenging corner without ever hitting the walls. However, near the end of the project we discovered a ding in the tub interior where a piece of tile must have fallen into the tub. They arranged to have the ding repaired and didn't just settle for anyone, but chose a top rate company. We are pleased with how the repair came out as it is effectively invisible. I am very happy with the new bathrooms. The fact that we had them come back for not just one but two bathroom remodels, speaks to their work quality. S&W Kitchens did a fantastic job on our kitchen remodel and new floor install. Bethany's design for our space was creative, well thought out and detailed. She took into consideration our price point and helped us decide what was worth the spend and what we could save and it really made the space functional and lovely. They have a great selection of products to choose from for any budget with great quality. Bethany was always available to us throughout the project and was very easy to communicate with regarding issues and changes. Our construction project manager, Carlos, was very helpful all along the way. He always was available and checked in frequently to ensure we were clear on the plan for the week and next steps. Carlos is organized, knowledgable and willing to go the extra mile for the project and his customer's satisfaction. He worked hard to keep the project on the timeline but it did take longer than expected due to scheduling constraints. However, the finished result made it well worth the wait. Highly recommend them if you want work done with an expectation of high quality and accuracy. Very pleased with the results of our project! Karen found just the right tub for our bathroom and the right sink for our kitchen. She listened and made sure my husband and I were happy with the design. Kevin, the superintendent, is very customer focused and we found him to be very responsive to our needs, which is indeed unusual in the construction industry! The sub-contractors, managed by Kevin, were very professional and customer focused. For example, Brian, the person who completed the Demo, was outstanding! He was very professional and cleaned up all debris. Tyler, who did the "punch list" and other items, was also excellent at his job! Overall, all the sub-contractors were customer focused and did a very nice job. The tile work we had done and the new tub area is beautiful and we are very happy! The one thing I would mention is the setting of expectations. This job took longer than expected and if there was more communication in the beginning about the start date, I would have felt better. However, once they got started, Kevin did a great job with his communication and the pace for the project was very good and as expected. read more

We bought a fixer upper condo on the beach. We had heard so many horror stories of remodels gone bad. We hired S&W because of their great reputation for customer service. We were not disappointed. Lindsey Schwartz was our designer. We did a complete remodel of master bath and kitchen and minor remodel on the two guest baths. She clearly knows what she is doing and was a pleasure to work with. We were impressed with the quality of work and how easy it was to work with S&W. All workers are given background checks. This was important to us because our condo was not going to be livable during construction. Dale, the construction superintendent, was great. He impressed our condo Board of Directors. We needed their approval to proceed, so this was important. We did not get nickeled and dimed to death. The price in the contract is what we paid. Every Friday, I received an email from Lindsey with photos on progress for the week and plans for the next week. Everyone who has seen our remodel is totally impressed. They are a high end remodeler and you will be happy you hired them. read more

We are on our third home remodeling project with S&W Kitchens because they are the best! We met Lindsey when we walked into the showroom on a whim in 2022 and she has been the most amazing designer to work with. She has designed all of our spaces to our needs, suggesting just what we needed each time when we didn't know what we wanted. Throughout the entire process--from measuring and designing to completion, S&W has been thorough, knowledgeable and personable. Our project superintendent, Stefan, has been meticulous in planning, scheduling and making sure our project is done correctly and to the highest standard. The S&W staff who have worked in our home, Tyler, Paul and others are courteous, clean, prompt and respectful of our spaces. Our house is 100 years old this year. To call this project a 'kitchen renovation' is an understatement. We believe the kitchen area was last updated in the 60's, and our project actually involved 5 rooms (kitchen, laundry room, pantry, bathroom, and butler's pantry). 126 calendar days, 71 actual on-site work days. 11 different contracting entities, 39 total people. Yes, there were unexpected twists, but we've worked with Justin on previous renovations, so we were confident in his insight and abilities. S&W provided reliability, responsiveness, and quality. With such a complex project, it was a relief to know what to expect on a daily basis. From the initial design phase through the hiccups and adjustments, there was constant communication in both directions. Our master bath remodel was our second project with S&W. Once again we are delighted with the results. Not only is our new master bathroom gorgeous, it is efficient and functional. S&W Kitchens does fantastic work--from the design all the way to the punch list. They were perfectionists with our home. Our designer, Laura, listened carefully to our needs and came up with a beautiful design. She gave us just enough choices that we felt like it was our personal design without being overwhelmed by selections. Both the primary and guest bathrooms were completely remodeled. The transformation is stunning! From my initial contact with the designer, Justin, and then throughout planning, selection, coordination with HOA policies, installation, and follow up, I was 100% satisfied. Justin was always quick to respond to my questions/concerns. The communication with Carlos, the project supervisor, was seamless. The few minor adjustments which needed to be made were completed quickly by professionals. Bruno, Paul, and Cary were very efficient in their skills to correct minor concerns. Feeling comfortable, confident and safe with the various members of the team was extremely important to me. Each one was always courteous. TOTAL KITCHEN REMODEL: S&W Kitchen's team of James, Aniko, Robert, and all the sub-contractors, gutted and completely remodeled our kitchen in Celebration, FL. They worked with us from design and planning through demo and rebuilding. Great care was taken with each step of the process and they helped us to make several changes when issues arose from the original plan. I cannot recommend them enough. I have lived in many homes in several states and have lived through many remodeling projects, and I can say they were among the best! If you have a major project for your home, and you need help from soup to nuts -- a turn-key situation -- S&W Kitchens is the way to go. S&W has great staff and addressed every question and concern I had throughout my renovation. I decided to renovate my two bathrooms at the same time. it was a challenging project and I always felt I was in good hands. DeAnna in the office who fabulous and my go-to person, Steven who was in charge of everything and everyone and worked way too hard and way too many hours and Matt and Jason, capable, pleasant industrious worker bees. The finished bathrooms exceeded my expectations and they're absolutely gorgeous. All we can say is WOW! S&W Kitchen did a fantastic job renovating our kitchen. The difference between our old kitchen and new is like night and day. Our kitchen was old, falling apart, cabinet doors not closing, bowing shelves and poor lighting. Lindsey Schwartz, our Project designer, was great to work with. She guided us through choosing cabinets, flooring, backsplashes and every detail of our kitchen make-over. She pointed out less expensive choices although we did not always listen, and different options. The demolition and installations teams were all very professional and courteous. Very happy with Laura Scott and her team at S&W Kitchen. Laura walked us through the whole process, and really made the renovation project easy. Once the permits and materials were in place the whole job took about a month to complete. The actual construction was painless, the workers were very respectful and minimized the noise which is great since I work from home. The results speak for themselves, the new kitchen really brightens up the house and the colors make the space feel larger. It really does feel like something you would see in Home and Gardens. I worked with designer, Lee Reeve. Lee has a great personality and sense of humor which helped in the overall process. Lee is a designer that gently guides without pressure. He allowed me to make my choices and helped when I was unsure. He was a pleasure to work with. The cream on top was the project overseer, Carlos. As with any construction there can be a few hiccups. Carlos went over and above to make sure they were handled well and efficiently. Carlos is warm, helpful, and a dream to work with. I considered him a friend by the end of the project.
