Royal Battery of Palm Bay is terrible! First of all they have insane High prices! Almost everything…read moresold at this location is 2 to 4 times what you can get it for on a normal internet e-tail site. Then, the worst part, THEY DON'T HONOR WARRANTIES! There is absolutely terrible customer service at this location! When you have any problem with you battery expect to be hassled nonstop by the manager Gary. He tries to blame you for dropping the battery after a quick 2 second glance at it. Then he tries to make you feel guilty you even brought the battery in to be tested and that hes being bothered to even deal with this. I brought in 2 x BRUTE FORCE PURETRON AGMBPL31S batteries 2 months ago and both exhibited signs of cell failure as the batteries after a full charge would go from 13.2V to 8.1V after only 2 hours of load....sometimes they would die after no load even and just sitting for 5-6 hours. So, after my "nazi-like" interrogation by Gary he reluctantly warrantied 1 battery. I took the other battery to two different automotive stores that tested the other battery on 2 totally different testing machines and the other battery failed badly on every tester at AutoZone and Discount Auto in Sebastian. I go back To Gary at Royal Battery and he quickly dismisses the auto shops battery testers as "junk". He says this other battery looks ok and promises to load test it again over Labor Day weekend. The tech calls me after the holiday and states ."YES, the battery is bad and failed on both our machines". I said GREAT!, glad you finally believed me and see that these batteries were both just bad. I ask if I can then pickup a new one. "Oh, he says no because your battery is only 2 year warranty and is out of warranty". I say what?? This is a 3-4 year $400 commercial battery! He says no....but he'll check it more. I then text him from the manufactures pages that this battery does have a 4 year warranty ( I mean honestly, should a customer have to show a company the warranty specs??, what is wrong with these people??). So 15 minutes later, I get the call from the tech, Yes your battery is under warranty but your battery is damaged and so the manager Gary says" NO replacement!" I was flabbergasted! The battery was installed by SeaVee in April of 2018 and was never taken out of the boat until it was brought to Royal. So how could it be damaged?? And, why would they even test the battery if it was damaged?( see pictures of my battery attached). These idiots act like I am taking money out of their personal pockets! I have never dealt or been involved with such a thing in my life! And then being treated so rudely and denied a warranty claim on an obviously defective battery! Fortunately SeaVee is having Royal Battery in Miami replace the battery for me. Sure I have to go to Miami but at least a customer is being treated fairly. They also could not believe what I had to endure to deal with a simple warranty claim. Stay away form this place as you may get treated ok on the purchase but expect to be treated like liar and scammer if you ever require a warranty service. Also, never buy this Brute Force Brand Battery..it is complete junk! I know thousands of people in this town an word will get out on this location and how they treat customers of Royal Battery.

A very disappointing consumer experience. The service did not actually solve my problem and instead…read moreput me under pressure to spend more money. My car got a flat tire on the road, so I found this roadside tire service online and arranged for a technician to come out and help me. When the technician arrived, he removed the tire and inspected it. Because the puncture was somewhat large, he initially used a basic plug-strip repair method. However, the tire continued to lose air afterward, so the problem was clearly not resolved. The technician then repeatedly told me that the puncture was too large to repair and strongly recommended that I replace the tire with a new one, which would have required me to pay significantly more money. I have some knowledge of cars and tires, and based on the location and condition of the damage, I believed the tire could still be properly repaired. Therefore, I declined to replace the tire. In the end, at my request, the technician only temporarily filled the tire with air so that I could drive somewhere else to have it checked. I then took the vehicle to another professional tire shop. They inspected the tire and repaired it using a single mushroom plug. After the repair, the tire held air properly and did not continue leaking. This left me with a very simple question: If another tire shop was able to properly repair the tire, why couldn't this company provide the same solution instead of repeatedly telling me that I needed to buy a new tire? What made the experience even more frustrating was my communication with their customer service afterward. I requested a refund because the service I paid for did not actually resolve the problem. Their response was essentially that they had already provided a service and therefore I was responsible for the full charge. But my point was very clear: Yes, someone came out and performed a service--but did that service actually fix my tire? No. The tire was still leaking afterward, and I ultimately had to pay another shop to properly resolve the problem. The customer service representative kept repeating that they had "provided the service," but that does not address the actual issue. Providing a service and successfully resolving the customer's problem are not necessarily the same thing. I also told them that I understand there are labor costs involved with sending someone out, and I was willing to pay a reasonable portion of the labor cost. I was not asking them to provide the service for free. However, they refused and insisted that I pay the entire amount. Instead of taking responsibility for the fact that the original repair did not work, the conversation became a frustrating cycle of excuses and responsibility being pushed back onto the customer. If a roadside repair service cannot properly repair a tire, I understand that there may be situations where a replacement is genuinely necessary. But in my case, another tire shop was able to repair the exact same tire successfully with a mushroom plug, without replacing it. For me, this was an extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. The initial repair did not solve the problem, I was repeatedly encouraged to spend more money on a replacement tire, and the customer service team refused to offer any reasonable resolution afterward. I have saved screenshots of my entire conversation with their customer service and will be sharing them along with this review so that people can see the interaction for themselves and make their own judgment. If you are dealing with a tire emergency on the road, I strongly recommend doing your research before choosing a roadside tire service. Make sure you understand what repair options they actually provide and what happens if their repair does not solve the problem. In my experience, this service did not solve my problem. I ultimately had to find another tire shop and pay again to get the issue properly resolved. That is why I am leaving this review.

So many times they wouldn't have what you needed, or it would be quite expensive, or they'd have to order it from 'the warehouse'. Recently, in the past couple of years, I've been loyal to O'Reilly Auto Parts. Their stores are meticulously clean, well stocked and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. This morning, I had the 'Check Engine' light come on in my 2013 BMW. I was NOT happy about that, naturally. Plus, I'm in Melbourne for a reunion, I live near Tampa. So, I pulled into the closest O'Reilly to see if they'd run a diagnostic check for me. This service is FREE. I was immediately greeted by Anthony. The first thing he asked is "Did you just get gas?" Right then I knew he was in the know! I had just gotten gas the night before. Next he asked if my gas cap was on correctly. I answered "Yes". (Bad gas and a loose gas cap are the two MAIN reasons for an unexplained Check Engine Light usually). We walked out to my car, he hooked up his OBD(On Board Diagnostic) tester and quickly pulled up a trouble code and a description. Fortunately for me, it was a very minor issue that would likely resolve itself, would not damage the engine or affect driving and did not require any parts. (No good for O'Reilly!) I couldn't have been any happier all the way around! With O'Reilly, Anthony and a simple answer not requiring BMW-type expenses..... Thanks!
