Friends recommended Brad's Auto and I brought my 2009 Accord there for a serpentine belt replacement and AC recharge. Everyone there was polite and helpful. Most unprofessional place and very rude. Paid for them to check for what was wrong with a car and when I didn't want it repaired, they didn't put it back together and threw the pieces in the front of the car - with a few pieces missing. They said, "Why bother, it still won't work." Not their call to make. Also trash talked the mechanic we were going with. I have never had a professional mechanic not put back together what they took apart, whether they do the repair or not. They even tried to pressure us to finance the repairs that would charge double if you don't pay it off in 90 days. I would never trust these people nor would I recommend this business to anyone! To whom it may concern: I bought my 2008 Ford Focus to you on Friday, October 16, 2020. The problem was that the handle on the driver door was not working. I had new parts already installed but the door would not work. I dropped the car off Friday morning and waited all day to receive a call on if it could be fixed and if so how much. I did not receive a call all day. I called you guys when I got off at 4pm and I was told that you it was unsure of what I needed fixed, (then why didn't you call me?) and when I said I just want the handle to work with the new parts that are already in there, I was told that it could be done now and that I would have to pay 130 ish by the hour. (It took no more than 25 minutes). I do not have a problem with the cost, I just waited all day for a call and then the car was fixed within 25 minutes. All I did was go to the bank and come to the shop and it was fixed within minutes, as I thought it was fixed. The door was not opening properly when I left, and I was told that it needed to be greased where the door latches on car. If you are a repair shop, why couldn't you do that before I left. The worst part is, now I have a broken piece in car where the controller controls the window and I was told that it was broke when I brought the car in. It was not broken when I brought the car in, it was not hanging from wires when I brought the car in. Being that it was 5pm by the time all was done, I was just wanting to get the hell out of your shop. But the more I thought about how I was treated I just got madder and madder. I am not expecting anything from your shop, not even a phone call. But I will spread the word of what happened and I am definitely going on the web sites and giving bad reviews for your auto shop. I was recommended to you by a close friend, and that person will not be coming back to your shop either. That person will also spread the word about your shop and will not be sending you anymore business as well. Robin Krause, I am sorry that you felt like we did a poor job. The first part of the day the guys had already looked at the vehicle. The shop did try to call you but the phone number that we were provided was wrong. When you called I was confirming what you wanted done. Once you confirmed you wanted us to try and fix what your son had already started and could not get done, we proceeded to finish the job which took about 25 min. The HR. rate for the shop is $115.00 after shop supplies (door clips that held the inner door panel on, lube, to grease up the inner cable and other mis. items) and taxes your total was $132.92. You still had to pull on the door handle to open it, was due to There where other issues with the door. Per the conversation we had you only wanted us to fix what your son started but could not finish. There for I did not try to sell you anything above and beyond what we talk about doing. When you dropped the car off the inner door panel was already removed by your son. We did not remove anything on the inside of the door including the part that has the broken clips and is hanging, that piece had to be removed in order to take the inner door panel off. I personnel suggested that if you buy the part, the shop would put it on at no cost. The tech. also informed you of how to do the fix so you could relay the information to your son so he could continue to fix it for you. We do record everything in the shop, at anytime if you would like I can sit down with you and review the video so that you feel conferrable that we did not brake that part. Again I am very sorry that you felt the way you did when you left the shop. Please feel free to call if you have any question. I have been a customer for a couple years Brad is no longer working there and it's a shame that he is not. I will no longer nor will anybody in my family take any of our vehicles there anymore and if you need somebody that's reliable and trustworthy Brad went to Tuffys in Vieira. I got charged $141 for AC check Refac service said my car was fixed sent me on my way with later had the same issue that my car was already in there for charge me again $140 took my car to another mechanic, and he found where the leak was coming from which was a five dollar part if they knew what they were doing over there they would've solve the problem with the car instead of scamming somebody out of money like that. That business will go down soon enough you do wrong to people and you get it back Brad would've never charged nor done that to me he has always gone above and beyond for anybody in my family! Excellent service! Brad's Auto was recommended to us by a friend who takes all three of his cars to Brad for service. All I can say is we are grateful and very glad he was able to look at our car! We had traveled cross country to keep our Honda at our Florida home and had it checked and serviced before we left. We were told we had an oil leak and Brad was able to look at our vehicle the next day. He not only fixed our oil leak but helped diagnose another problem before it became a bigger issue! Brad's Auto Service is excellent. I highly recommend it. I drove down to Florida from New York. The air conditioning in my car has not worked for years. After being in Florida for 5 weeks I decided to finally have it fixed. I planned on never fixing the air conditioning since my car is 10 years old and the Honda deal quoted me $1200 to replace the compressor. However, the thought of driving back to New York in the heat changed my mind. I called Brad's and was able to bring my car in the next day for an estimate. They open at 730 am. I got there at 9am and they looked at it right away while I waited. They have me an estimate of $880 and explained what was wrong with the AC. They ordered the new parts that were needed and I brought the car in the next day. While I was in the waiting room I talked to the other 3 people. One woman said she brings her car there all the time and could not say enough about how great Brad's is. I rented a car to use and brought my car the next day because it would take most of the day. Unfortunately, another part in the AC had to be ordered and replaced so I picked my car up the next day at around 11am. This was fine. Brad's Auto called me to keep me posted and explained what the problem was. I picked up my car the next day. The air conditioner works! It is great. Amazingly, Brad's Auto stayed true to their original price quote. I was amazed. I wish Brad's Auto was in New York. They were great, The garage is modest and there really isn't any place to walk to while you wait. Someone knowledgeable always answers the phone when you call. The one time I had to leave a message I got a call back within 45 minutes. They are professional and true to their word. Their pricing was amazing compared to the quotes I had researched. The best part is they were fast and the AC is fixed. I highly recommend Brad's to everyone. I am thrilled with my experience there. read more

I really thought I had found a good place to bring my car when I came across Brads Auto but I was fooled again . I brought my car for repairs after I had a mess of a car by another shop in PA. Brad at Brads Auto fooled me with his niceness but in the end it was a façade , he made it seem like he was doing me a favor by discounting 15% because I'm a Veteran but he gives that to everybody . I understand that my car doesn't take preference over another car but it took over a week for simple repairs which I should have done myself in the end . It took as long as it did because there were days my car just sat there and not touched . My biggest pet peeve is keeping my car clean since I use my car for car shows . It was finally the last day when I received my car I opened the hood and there was antifreeze that had sprayed all over my engine compartment and wasn't even attempted to be cleaned up . I used to work on cars and I would never return a car dirtier than I received it , My automotive instructor embedded into me and his students that the way you return a car after you have worked on it reflects the kind of work you do even if you receive the car dirty . My car was clean when I gave it to Brads but definitely didn't receive it back that way . Last but not least the icing on the cake as one would say was after having an installation done that wasn't done properly and I know this because I did the same installation to my car and had no problems and when I brought it to Brads attention he blew up at me telling me his technician doesn't make mistakes then has the audacity to tell me I'm full of shit ! and to get the F*ck out , well the difference between me and other customers is that I work on cars and I know what to look for and how the work should be done that's the only reason people give Brads Auto 5 stars .
