I thought my 2017 Chevy Volt needed an A/C recharge. Assured auto works has the special equipment to recharge A/C on cars with electric compressors. Turns out I was wrong about needing a recharge, since temperatures and coolant pressures were all in the normal range, with no leaks detected. I would like to thank JD, Carlos, and the Team at Assured shop for fixing the issues on my 2019 Blazer so quickly. I was driving down i95 2ish and my truck gave out of power. Shut down completely in the middle of the Highway. This was a scared moment of my life. I called the tow truck company; Premier Towing and Transport, they with came less than 20 mins. I still can't believe they came that fast. I called Assured Auto and explained to JD what happened to my truck. I was heading home back to Tallahasee from vacation. JD told me to get the truck tow there. We got there at 2:35pm. They completed a full diagnostics. They noticed some bolts was loosen on my Alternator. They tighten it. They also noticed something no connection to the car giving out of power. JD suggested for me to go back to the Auto shop who completed the work because of warranty JD took picture of it and printed it out to give to the Shop. Truck was Tested drive it no more power issues. I was back on the road by 4:30pm. I'm so grateful for them to get me in and out so quickly. They also have Complementary varieties of soft drinks for their customers and when you leave, they write a personal note with a blow pop sucker. This was so sweet. With what's going on in the world, it's the small things like this can bring a big impact on someone's life. Again, super grateful. Best customer services I've received in years at an Auto Shop. I've been taking my 05 Lexus LS 430 to Assured Auto Works for well over a year now and they have been nothing but trustworthy and awesome automotive technicians. That's the only way I could describe them, they will not do any unplanned work. Often I have received videos of the work process whether it be old parts removed from my car or the results of troubleshooting to find the root cause of whatever issue I had with my vehicle at the time. Wow, where to begin. We recently had the engine light come on, since we are new to the area I started to look up auto repair and Yelp led me to Assured Auto. Called and talked to JD, explained everything and made an appointment. Remember this was an engine light, which could lead to many, many issues depending on the findings. This is generally a red flag because an auto repair shop could say this and this is wrong leading to $$'s in repair you may have to accept. We could only cross our fingers on this one. The next day we took the car to Assured, they hooked up the diagnostics to get the OBD codes. After 40 minutes they not only gave us good news that they cleared the warning light but also said that what they found was not so serious to prevent driving but to keep an eye on the warning light and to bring it in again if it lights up. When we asked how much we were flabbergasted when they said it's no charge, keep an eye on if the light comes on again and how much it would be if it was necessary to bring it back for the same codes. Assured is one of the best auto repairs we've dealt with, very happy with their service and ethics. I see why the other reviews are good. Rest Assured . Had a problem with my car running. I tried several things and then remembered Assured Auto Works reviews. I took it there and was greatly impressed with the shop. It was clean and pleasant. They took my car and checked it out. They found that cylinder number two was miss firing. So instead of just changing the parts they moved the parts to cylinder number three to see if the problem moved with it. The problem moved which told me that it was absolutely the problem. Great to see someone make sure its the problem and not guessing. They suggested to change all the same parts on each cylinder to make sure it didn't happen again. That made a lot of sense so yes take care of it. I have found my go to place. read more

JD was very communicative and honest. They use a cool system that allows me to see their notes, quotes, and give approvals in real-time. They quoted me a certain amount but charged me much less because the fix turned out to be much quicker than the manufacturer suggested. They didn't have to charge me less but they were honest. That goes a long way in my book. Also, they saved me over $5k compared to what the Lexus of Melbourne dealership tried to charge me. I am very impressed with Assured Auto Works! I was a few hours into the start of a three-day family road trip from Fort Lauderdale to Boston when my SUV started vibrating while we were on the highway. We pulled over and checked the tires, but they looked fine. Still feeling uneasy, I searched for mechanics on Yelp and decided to go to Assured based on previous reviews. Even though they had other appointments, JD was able to fit us in since we were just passing through. After a quick drive around the block, Brin was able to determine that my rear passenger tire had tire tread separation. Fortunately, I had a full-sized spare that he was able to change out. In less than 15 minutes, they gave me my keys back and said I was ready to go. I asked how much I owed them and they said it was just a tire change and there wouldn't be a charge! I was surprised and so appreciative of their honesty, integrity, and amazing customer service! If I lived in the area, they would be the only auto shop I would ever go to again! read more

On my drive down to key west, my car started smoking and the engine check light came on. Desperate for help, I called AAA who said it would be 2 hours before anyone could get to me. I was only 15 minutes away from Melbourne when this happened to my car so after it cooled down, I made the drive to Toyota to see if they could help. Toyota turned me away and said that if I didn't have an appointment there was nothing they could do to help me. After doing some research for auto shops in the area, I found Assured Auto works and decided to try there. I talked to the owner, JD, who said they were really busy for the day and wouldn't be able to fit me in until the following day. They were kind enough to fit me in and take a look at my car and keep it an additional day. JD and his staff were so kind, informative and helpful during the process. They gave me great advice for my drive back home and showed me and explained a detailed report of everything they found. I brought two different, vehicles in this week. The first vehicle I brought in my own part for them to put in. Not many places do this but they did it they did not charge me a lot and they did not give me a hassle. The second vehicle I brought in was a starting problem and true to their word they diagnosed the problem first then called me with an estimate and fixed the issue . So, auto shops are a tricky thing for most people. The average person doesn't really know a lot about cars beyond putting in gas, lets be honest. So when something goes wrong, we are really vulnerable putting our faith in the experts. Most people, I think, would agree that auto shops tend to have a bad reputation because of this and many people are skeptical of being taken advantage of. Now, for me, being a female that is especially true. While I actually tend to know more about cars than most men even including my husband (thanks dad!) I certainly am not a pro. When a shop tells you that you need a $500 repair, that's a tough pill to swallow and many people wonder "do I really? I have no way to know if thats really the problem or how much it should really cost". So needless to say finding a place that you think is being honest and helpful is worth a lot. We had a broken down car, its 12 years old with over 150k miles on it. So we knew repairs at that point could be any and everything and costly. After we got the estimate here, I had questions and concerns, just wanting to fully understand what I was getting into. I called the shop and was put on the line with the owner. Now, I am sure he is a busy man, but this is not an exaggeration. He spent almost an hour on the phone with me. He went over the ins and outs, he was candid with me about the entire process and acknowledged the bad rap that mechanics can get. He didn't talk down to me (like other mechanics can do, you know what I'm talking about). He did not just pass me off in a minute with a "this is what you need deal with it" attitude that I have dealt with in the past at other shops. I was really impressed that he took so much time to speak with me and make sure I was 100% understanding, comfortable and in agreement with what he was telling me needed to be done. I will also just mention that I believe I am a great judge of character as a general thing, and this man seems honest. I can see through scammers, fast talkers and liars every time. I don't believe that there are any of those working here. After that call, they got the work done quickly and the car has not had any problems since. With an older, high mileage car, we know other things will eventually need to be done and when it does, we will return here. read more
