Great people to work with and very fair in their labor rate . In one case they even acted on my behalf with TireRack to obtain warranty work. read more

Very expensive. Took a week for the repair and a mechanic hit my car. But I have to give them that they did tell me and fixed it.

Mom was a 22 year customer here (I lived out of state.) Great genuine guys. Great service and a good hometown/local shop. Seems like a thing of the past but you still can get good mechanics! Thank you Joe for the check on the 1981 Mercedes! Andrew read more

Brought my Toyota Sequoia in for AC repair and they kept it for almost a week. Then said it was the condenser, but called back to say they had to remove the dashboard. They ended up charging me almost $3,000 and replaced the entire AC system. Never again. read more

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. They have serviced my car for years and have been honest and reliable about what they have to do to fix it. Since I am an elderly woman I certainly appreciate their honesty and reliability and respect them for the awesome people they employ. You will never get "taken " here. read more

I am not a big car guy, so repair situations can often be frustrating for me. That's why I am so grateful for a place like C&D. These guys are friendly, they are honest and they are knowledgeable. They will never try to BS you to make an extra buck. In Brevard County, a place like this is one in a million. I cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

Professional business with people who take pride in their work. They treated me as if I were a longtime customer on my very visit to buy a new car battery. I returned to have my oil changed and was satisfied with the service and the price. read more

Thanks guys! Once again came to our rescue with reliable honest service. The only mechanics we would trust.

These guys are great! Every time I come here I am more impressed with their level of honesty and fairness and expertise. I wanted my car to be checked out before a long trip and they didn't charge me anything. And they even topped off fluids for me all for free. These guys are in it for the long term. read more

These folks really took the time to help me out when I was traveling down I 95 and ran over something. I can't be more grateful because I had my 7 year granddaughter with me. They squeezed us in and we were on our way in no time! read more

Excellent service for a reasonable price. Diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts, set up a date and time for the service - no charge for the estimate. Completed the work within the timeframe promised and checked to ensure the problem was corrected. Completely satisfied.with the serviced provided. read more

For years I've taken my (slightly older) vehicle to the dealer, because they built the vehicle and have a great inventory of parts - I can get my vehicle back same day. A good friend recommended C&D Auto on U.S. 1... and they did not disappoint! C&D did a GREAT JOB diagnosing and replacing my a/c condenser. They are honest, savvy, forthcoming (they review warranty options very well) and have reasonable, fair prices. Icing on the cake- the mechanic personally brought out our vehicle and was very helpful. Highly recommend! read more

I had just taken my van to Gator Jeep for my oil change. They gave me my keys said everything was fine. It was not my warranty had expired and had to do a out of town drive. I could see leaking and spots on my driveway. My neighbor said take it to C&D. I couldn't afford for van to break down on trip and I just knew something was wrong. Thankfully even though I didn't have a appointment they looked it over and found the problem. Gator should have noticed it and failed to do anything. I will no longer use Gator Jeep services. C&D will now be the only place I take my van for services. They saved me from having the engine blow up, that could have happened if they hadn't fixed my van. read more

I had a full day planned, but when I went for gas, my 2009 CR-V would not start. A kind gentleman used his device to jump my battery. I went straight to the parts store where my battery tested as "Good", but it wouldn't start again. After reading reviews here, I called C & D, and Joe said, "Bring it down". It's now about 5 hours later. They diagnosed a bad starter, called for authorization with a quote, and we're back home with an economically repaired Honda; sipping a cold beer! These guys are worth their weight in gold! read more

Always busy but I do believe that is because they are really good. Have used several times and for mechanic shops I do believe they are the best I have ever used. And I'm kinda old. Honest and very high quality. Great value. Definitely recommend. read more

Came here for the first time to get my brakes done. They worked with me and my busy schedule so I could pick my car up after hours. Customer service was excellent. They told me what I needed now and what could wait until later. They were fast and very reasonably priced, and my brakes feel like new again! I'm new to the area, so I am happy I have found a reliable auto center that I am confident in bringing my car back to in the future. read more

Happy to see that other reviews were fantastic. New to the area and I took a drive over this morning because I had a nail in my front tire. Shortly after opening and the bay doors are up someone hard at work. I go inside a couple of guys sitting at the counter stop talking and look at me one asks if they can help me. I explain my tire has a nail and ask for a patch or plug. Response: Its going to be at least an hour and a half before we can look at it. Customer perception: Why do I have to wait an hour and a half for you have to look at it? It's a nail. Oh its not enough money in the job to warrant getting up from counter for 15 minutes and taking care of the customer. Found a place down the street that had half the guys working just as many cars in the lot and the guy at the counter got right up took care of it and had me on my way home in 15 minutes so I could go about my day. read more

They are truly honest, reliable, and have wonderful customer service! I had to have several things done on my car and they did a fantastic job. They did an estimate and it was a lower than we thought it would be. This will be the place we take our cars to from now on. They even picked me up since I didn't have a way to get there. Thank you so much! read more

C&D auto was recommended to me by a neighbor of mine. I usually do my own repairs however being new to the area I am not set up quite yet in my new home. I have an 07 Mercedes SL550 which sat for a few months while I was out of town. The battery died and could not be revived by recharging it. I replaced the battery myself but could not clear the battery alert code on my dash. In addition I had no A/C only hot air. I took the car to Mercedes in town and was promptly treated somewhat rudely and advised to come back at a later date. I remembered the recommendation of C&D and gave them a call. Within a few short hours my car was fixed for a very modest price. The shop looks very clean, the counter gentlemen were very courteous and it truly could not have been a better experience. I highly recommend C&D for your car repairs. read more

I absolutely love this place! I had been living in Central Florida for nearly a year and was preparing to head back to my home in Illinois. Quite a far drive. It was in my last week of staying with a friend in Melbourne that I noticed the gas in my car depleting quite rapidly. After finding this place on Yelp and giving them a call they were very warm and welcoming even over the phone. After telling them my situation these gentleman treated me almost as if I was their own daughter and made sure that my problem was taken care of and other services like rotating my tires and changing the oil were done so I wouldn't have any problems during my long drive back. All of which cost me less than I was prepared to pay! I was thoroughly satisfied and if I ever move back to Central Florida I will definitely be taking my car here! *Original review posted 09/10/2014 from previous Yelp account. read more

Crooked. Please stay away from this place. I had an issue with the AC in my Mazda flickering on and off. These guys initially diagnosed the issue as being the blower switch (a $150 fix). I waited a few months to get the work done...when I finally decided to pony up the cash to get this work done I brought my car in and they tried to tell me the original diagnosis was wrong and that my entire AC system had to be replaced for $1300. Luckily I decided to pull my car out off there and get a second opinion from Firestone on Palm Bay road. They determined that it was in fact the blower switch, replaced for about $150, and now my AC is working perfectly. I'm not sure why C&D decided to try and rip me off but, they have lost my business forever. I only hope that I can save others from getting ripped off by writing this review. read more

I have had my cars here a bunch of times and they always seem very honest. I originally had my car towed by AAA to them and they changed the starter. I had another problem 8 months later had it towed to them. They told me it was a faulty starter under warranty, no charge. Recently, I brought my car there for an oil change and engine service light on. They told me the service light was most likely gas cap issue, which was not a problem. These problems could have easily been written up for some other part or labor not needed and charged to me. I trust these guys and they treat you right. read more

Bob is great. I bought a used van in Orlando, drove to Melbourne and couldn't start it the next morning. I wasn't sure what was wrong with it, so I had AAA drop it off at C & D and for $40 they replaced the battery and electrical connectors. Back in business! Thanks Tony L.! read more

I have been going to C & D Auto for 7+ years. Joe is awesome. I sometimes have to go to the big box chains when I am out of town and they are always trying to up sell me, they put the fear of God in you saying "if you continue to drive this vehicle like this Blah Blah." Today I took my truck into C & D thinking the worse. It ended up being two minor issues to the tune of $300 (and that included an oil change) C & D is quick, reasonably priced and they have always treated me with respect. I never feel like I have been swindled after getting my truck serviced there. read more

Fast reliable. Went there at 8 am had my car back on the road before noon. Pricing was reasonable as well. Definitely would go back.

Love these guys! They were able to take my car in almost right away both times I had issues. They are extremely fair with their pricing. I asked a friend who works in the auto industry and he said the quote they gave me was great. Very professional, thorough, and nice. I'll be going there any time I have auto issues! read more

I don't understand the five star reviews I had my hopes high. I called on Friday to set appointment for Monday morning at 9am. I get up and drive over there he tells me a mechanic called in, huh. He says to bring it back at 2 pm what the hell. The place had cars parked all over the place I almost couldn't get in. I told him to take a look at it, he acted like he didn't want too. I don't understand brevard county, maybe I should be a mechanic I would be rich. They all charge 100 dollars a hour. I won't go back place looks run down and tells me to come back later huh. First impression are very important read more

Friendly, fast, professional, just all around great place! My car required a fix that was pretty pricey for me at the moment, and they came up with a solution that worked with what I could do. Joe is the one I communicated with and he was super respectful and patient despite my lack of car knowledge. I can not express enough how grateful I am. Two thumbs up! read more

Went in to a chain store for an oil change. When I went in an hour later to get my car, the manager at the chain store told me that my front and rear brake pads were worn down to the metal and that I needed to get a replacement right away - that I'd be causing damage to the rotors if I didn't do this. They'd put the wheels back on so I couldn't see the pads myself. At the advice of a friend I took my car to C&D. The employee there took all four wheels off and told me that I had at least 20,000 miles left before I needed any brake service. He showed me the brake pads and it was clear that there was a lot of wear left before I needed to get the brakes serviced. After all this - no charge for the service despite the time they took to look at my car and go over the info with me. So while I didn't use them this time I'll be a customer for life now. read more
