My tire obtained a nail on July 4th. I had my car insurance company send someone to change my tire to my spare. The rep from Insuranc, did not have the ability to remove/repair my tire so I had my spare tempor placed on my truck. I only live a few blocks away from Tire's Plus and my Shepherd and I walk thru their parking lot to go to the park everyday and we have made friends with the staff. with this being said, I felt it was safe to ask if Tires Plus could help me out by patching/removing the nail and placing back on my truck, for I now have no spare in the event something else happen..... WELL, THE GUY IN THE FRONT OFFICE SAID "$20" to fix it and I explained I am awaiting disability case thru SSDI and I don't have $20. He refused to help me out and actually was smug about it. Showed up on a Wednesday to see if they could replace my Halo light for my 2010 BMW ... no problem they said ... and we scheduled an appointment for Saturday morning. Dropped Car off are checked to make sure the right job was being done ... oil change and headlight replacement. Get a call an hour later from a woman saying I need new tires because thread is showing through the tire, alignment on the back is awful, and I had an oil leak .... Tell her to do nothing ... show up and ask to see the tire ... which is worn but fine. Then then tell me I need 4 tire pressure sensors for $120 EACH. Oil leak check, and rear tire ... only ones ... start at $680 for the pair. Get my car and leave with just the oil change done ... the guy apologized that he didn't understand what daytime running lights were and they don't replace Halo lights ... OK. Go to Discount Auto and get two new tires. $360 for both. They sold tire pressure sensors for $60 each but I just picked up 4 at Autozone for $30 and gave it to Discount to install. As the guy was taking my car he scanned both tires in back ... nothing wrong .. one was a 4 out of 10 and other was a 5 out of 10 on their scale. Came in for a 11am appointment, the place was EMPTY (should have been a sign). I was told to come back in an hour AC guy was at lunch. Came back , the quote was $1200 for a leak in the ac condenser. The person explaining the quote didn't seem like it was a job they wanted to do. He sounded disappointed that the part was in stock. I would have paid that amount if I felt like I could trust them. Unfortunately they made me feel more like an inconvenience and $1200 is to much to gamble with. Then he went on to tell me my dipstick was completely dry and wanted to do an oil change and fix my tire sensor that hasn't worked since I've owned the car. So CRAZY expensive quote on the work they didn't want to do and then try to fish for a easier job to do?? I said no thank you and was then charged $50 for the quote. After I left I found a coupon on there website for $9.99 to run the AC test ..... Beware you might be walking in to pay somebody to take your time. Never again read more

I arrive at Tires Plus on Eau Gallie in Indian Harbor Beach Florida, I have been here before for an alignment and was treated perfectly and while there were some issues with the process it was corrected perfectly. This time I had a screw on my tire and needed a patch. The "Manager" a 22 year old came out to the car and quickly told me the tire was not repairable. I have heard that story before but it was located in the middle of first set of threads from the outside. Truthfully I didn't question this because I am happy riding at highway speeds without patched tires. So sell me a tire. Quickly the Kid Manager tells me I have to buy two tires as I need to replace both because my other tire is worn and not the same height as the new one and the computer will go nuts and the transmission will destroy itself. I said I understand but I just want to buy one tire for now and I am not concerned about damage which he claims will happen. Then he notices it is a 4matic drive car and announces I need to buy 4 tires. I laughed and said just sell me a tire and I will be on my way. NO the sniveling little creep says, I will not sell you one tire as you may come back and hold me responsible if damage should occur. I said I just want to buy one tire and that is all. Having said that repeatedly to this moron he decides that since I am not agreeing with him I am calling him a liar. Liar? Just sell me a tire Man! Oh no you called me a liar and I never want you never to come back here again and went back in the store. So I left with a screw in my tire he wasn't concerned about that. Went to Tire Kingdom around the corner and had a new tire installed in 30 minutes. The idiot was more worried about my transmission than my safety with a screw in my tire. The exhaust system on my Mariner started to come apart on the way down from NJ to Florida. Having an automotive repair background I checked it periodically to make sure there was no danger of the exhaust falling off. (There wasn't) But yesterday (St. Paddy's Day) I noticed the exhaust was even louder than it had been the day before and checking it again, I did notice some 'sag' to the pipes. I looked online to see if any repair shop would be open on a Sunday, let alone a St. Paddy's Day and found Tires Plus on E. Eau Gallie. I stopped in and spoke with Brian who checked and found that the part needed was available and they could do the job that day. As much as I didn't want to spend more money on vacation, I knew the job needed to be done at some point so I gave the ok. I there was a call to me from Pedro telling me there was a problem when the exhaust was being picked up, but a further call a couple hours later said they were able to get the part on time and the car would be ready at the end of the day. Since we were already on our way to Disney Springs, it was too late to pick up the car that day, but it was ready as promised the following morning. Great customer service from both Brian and Pedro. Was in the area the week after Hurricane Irma. Picked up a roofing nail in the front tire of my truck. Stopped in to see if they could fix it for me. The gentleman behind the counter came out and said it probably did not need to be fixed as the tires had plenty of meat on them. He pulled the nail out and checked it for leaks. I am gravely disappointed with the mismanagement and sexism of this business. I made a 9:00 AM appointment for an oil change and arrived at 8:50. My car wasn't even taken into the bay until after 10:00 AM, as I watched at least 6 men walk in and have their mechanical concerns addressed promptly. I did request a new air filter, having the knowledge that my filter was dirty and this in an inexpensive part. Management did not disclose the price beforehand and charged me $47. RIDICULOUS. It costs $9.99 on eBay. I have been using Tires Plus for my mechanical needs for five years and never have experienced such disregard and disrespect for my time, my gender and my money. When Brian was the manager and Chris worked in the bay, they ALWAYS took care of me honestly and efficiently. I lodged a formal complaint with the corporate division and I am now looking for a new outfit to address my automotive needs. read more

Very friendly and efficient staff. Mechanic diagnosed our car with transmission failure. When we got a second opinion it was only a leak and the wrong brand transmission fluid put in the car (Hondas are picky). Two flushes and our car was back to normal. They knew ahead of time which tires she needed as she was matching 2 she got from the same location a year ago. No explanation or apology for the unbelievable wait time. This place is great for all of your tire needs. The shop is clean and efficient, and the crew here seem to work really hard. The one manager that I've had business with, Shane, is very friendly and helpful. This location can get a bit busy, but I think that is because of the excellent service. Used to take my Prius here but I recently moved and I am not happy with the Tires Plus near me now--this location was much nicer staff wise and selling wise, And does not seem as sleazy as most other corporate car repair places(even compared to my most recent visit to a different tires plus) . Boyfriend made an appointment to get one of his tires changed online because it blew out the day before. We drop off the car and physically show them the one tire he needed changed. Come back hours later and they have changed all FOUR of the car's tires. Then proceed to try to make him pay for all four because his online appointment said he wanted four new tires. We pulled up our confirmation from the online appointment which said one tire only. Then we get attitude because the store is closed and there's nothing they can do. We then ask to leave the car there so it can be fixed tomorrow. Nope! Asked to leave and come back in the morning. Got a no to that as well! So when we refused to pay for a $500 bill that should have been $100 they fixed the issue, not even one apology. NEVER GO HERE! read more

As far as tires Quality and prices are comparable and reasonable,however while having my tires mounted,I was told that my front calipers were freezing up,since I have an extended warranty policy through Ford I took it in the next day to be checked ,Ford found nothing to indicate any freezing was happening the rotors were ok and the pad wear was even and not excessive,there was some external rust as we live on the beach but no problem with the brakes,no pulling to one side you would expect with sticking calipers. Tire plus had quoted me nearly 1000 dollars for the job and if I didn't have a warranty may have paid them without a second opinion,which I guess from now on is a good idea with or without warranty. read more

Brought my car in for AC recharge and after two attempts they were unable to fix the problem--told me to bring it to Audi. And then the belt that they installed shredded into pieces less than an hour after I drove away from the place. It's ended up shredding and ripping my hood liner into pieces.
