I have been being my car to this location for over a year and usually account for the incredible inefficiency on the weekend, but this is Wednesday afternoon with a very slow flow of cars. I bring my Honda in for an oil change, alignment and rotation. Not a difficult job to accomplish in a timely manner. The car is sitting outside the garage now for 25 minutes and the vacuous front desk must need an eye check up, because they can not see someone at the desk waiting to talk about their car that is sitting gathering dust. They attempted to rip me off for an overpriced break job that I didn't need. On my inspection they didn't mention that I had a major leak.. when I called back "they don't do leaks" but they made sure to try to rip me off for breaks! I went in two weeks ago with a not working air conditioner. They told me they couldn't find any leaks or anything wrong besides low freon. I paid almost $300 for that to get topped off and then two days later had issues with my air conditioner again. Yesterday I brought it in to another business and they immediately found issues with my air conditioner that they don't know how the people at Firestone missed. I'm now looking at over $3000 in repairs for a leaking evaporator and compressor. Went in for a diagnostic to find out why my vehicle wasn't starting. Had to wait an extra day for their most knowledgeable engine guy to come in. After the diagnostic I was charged over 200 for a diagnostic I couldn't even use. Had to send it to a shop where they could actually fix it and was charged and additional diagnostic because they wouldn't go by firestones. read more

I gave one star because there is no option for zero stars. This place is a RIPOFF! I came in on a Sunday with a screw in my tire. The tire wasn't leaking air but I knew I'd better have it checked. The screw was in the center of the treads at an angle. The girl(?) that waited on me stated that because the screw was at an angle they would probably need to replace the tire. I told her I knew better than that. I ask them to just patch the tire. She called me back and said the tire couldn't be patched. I stated just to leave it alone and she stated they had destroyed the tire. I was stuck buying something I didn't need. And they charged me $160 for a tire for my Jeep Grand Cherokee. What a ripoff. Discount Tire I later found out patches tires for free. They wanted $42 to patch and then screwed me for the remaining $100. Don't let these knuckleheads screw you out of your heard earned money. read more

Went in today for a basic oil change tire rotation and wheel balance on my 2010 Toyota tundra with over 130,000 miles. Got all my services completed within the time promised, they even found a nail in one of my tires which was covered under warranty and the best part was they picked up the fact my passenger side windshield washer nozzle was an operative. They were able to repair it Phiant stalling a new washer tee. The shop is by far the best and South Brevard County, I would not take my vehicle anywhere else. Hands down the most honest repair shop I've ever been to. Brakes were squealing and I thought for sure the pads needed replacement. They checked and informed me the pads and rotors were good and did not need replacement. The only thing they recommended were wiper blades. I've been to this Firestone before and had a similar experience with my other vehicle. I don't even live nearby but make the extra drive to come here, it's worth the honesty. I was there from July to August with a problem, but they told me I was wrong, nothing wrong with my car. Then they put the wrong oil in my car!!! Seems like alot of the reviews that are favorable are from out of towners with limited consistancy, but, here's mine. I rented a 2010 Dodge Charger from the local Enterprise Rental and fell in love with the car. Rented it for two years and finally bought one of my own. During my rental period, I was told to take the car to Firestone off Palm Bay Rd for routine maint. The way they treated that car impressed me so much, when I got my own, I started taking it there for it's maint. Seems like when the car reached it's 100,000 mile mark, that's when service went out the door with these guys. Even a simple oil change became an issue. They seemed to have lost the oil pan drain plug and replaced it with another plug that ended up leaking oil in my garage of my new house that was just built. Took it back to them only to have a plastic washer installed with the same leaky plug as a fix. Been complaining about the brakes squeeking, and during every replacement, have the same problem get worse and worse. Was heading out of town to visit family and was told that my front brakes needed replacing and paid for that. Still had noise. Went back changed out the rear ones, and during a test drive after the repair was told that because there was still vibration and noise at the front to bring the car back and they would fix it because they did the work. Set up another appointment, only to have the serviceman that set up the appointment with me not to be there, and the guys that was there drive the car and report that they couldn't hear anything. I literally pulled into the place squeaking like crazy that day.... and they couldn't hear anything. Rep told me that for another $450.00 they could replace my rotors because that would fix my problem. Quick back story, before I bought this car, I kept a 1989 Pontiac Grand Am rolling for five years doing my own work on it, so, I know about basic vehicle maint, so, to try to give me a Snow Job was a really bad idea. Didn't change my rotors. Took my Charger back to my house, looked at the brakes and discovered that though I was charged for "Premium" brake pads, they were the cheap-o's from Autozone. After less than a month driving in regular conditions, they literally cracked in the center of each pad and the heat of the rotors while driving makes the crack larger, hence, the squeeking. Changed out my pads with True Premium pads through Autozone as a Partner Store on my website, got cash back, and Business Volume that paid me back for the purchase. No more noise. During all this... and they work these guys do, they offer alignments with the service on brakes. Bad idea as well... been complaining for years that the alignments seem off because when I roll down the highway over 50, 60, or 70 the whole front end shakes irratically and the steering wheel shakes as well. At each interval of those mph, I've had alignments done... the car test drove by these guys... only to have the car shake more going 10 mph higher than the next. Needless to say that was my resolve to have regular maint done somewhere else. Went to Discount tire right up Palm Bay Rd to have rear tires replaced recently. They replaced the tires and changed the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems) on both and did an alignment. Was on highway, and was shocked at when I expected that car to shake at 60 mph, look down at the speedometer to discover that I was doing 80 and the car rolled like it was new! Summary... Always get a second look on your vehicle if you think you're being shafted, and, DON'T take it to Firestone off Palm Bay RD! If you're handy and have a few minutes... Get a Haynes book and turn a wrench. read more

They are a very Honest Car Repair Center. I went in to them for an AC Blower motor that I bought from another Firestone store that was not blowing very well anymore. They did not give me a hard TIME and replaced the AC Blower motor under my Warranty Guarantee and all is working great again. I originally had bought it hundreds of miles away at another Firestone. So it pays to buy from a repair center like Firestone so you do not have to worry and hassle about traveling far for a non chain repair center if you ever need warranty work done. read more

I had a lot of hesitation that I thought was normal due to other reviews written on line however, not only did they fix the problem they found some smaller concerns that they recommended but didn't insist. I accepted their expertise and I just drove it to work and I am in wow. Not to mention when they rotated my tires they cleaned and polished the tires which made it a pleasure to pay the very reasonable costs for the tune up, tire rotation, and rear drum tightening which also made a huge difference in my braking. read more
