True story... I bought a membership because the strawberries I tried from my Aunt were so good, I wanted to come get some myself. I happen to come on the Sunday they had an offer for "free weekend". So they had some cool goodies for me signing up. I got a nice gift bag from the front and another from the pharmacy... u also got a $5 coupon from the optical shop. Vivian at the desk was amazing!! So sweet, kind and caring. She really made my sign up easy and fun. Now, I did have an issue. I snagged my new jacket on a sharp piece on their cart ... when I talked to the manager, Kristen, she advised I can try to take it to a seamstress and bring the receipt back to them. If the seamstress can't fix it, bring the jacket receipt back to them. So I will do that. I hope a seamstress can fix it, because it would be a nice win-win, since the jacket is $140. Anyway, I really liked this place, the people who worked here, all the goodies they gave away and the delicious strawberries. I'll be back!!! Add on - went back on Tuesday to handle the jacket issue since a seamstress couldn't fix it, and Amy was so helpful and kind. The staff at this Sam's is top notch!! Thanks everyone. read more

We love this club! Obviously every Sam's has issues with parking but I don't think it is too bad. The line for food always goes quickly and the staff is nice. The club is always clean and organized. It is warehouse store....lots of big packages of stuff.....obviously you buy a lot of stuff for a lot of money that you probably do not need or want to spend....They do have a really good return policy and really it is a Walmart on steroids. I like that ~15 years ago Sam's switched over to more Costco-like products and I like that Sam's is selling some nice meat. The employees act like they are doing us a favor, instead of being happy to help. Produce is very difficult to get through in the early morning hours due to so many pallets parked all over the floor. There are a few employees that I really do like, but it is just the way Sam's is run, all over the country, that just makes for a bad environment to shop. BTW: Costco opens their doors 10-15 minutes before their posted hours, Sam's usually opens 1-3 minutes after. Not a big deal, just an example of the difference in culture and what importance each places on their customers. read more

I was in Sams over the weekend because I had to return something. Laura was working customer service and was VERY rude. Rolled her eyes several times when asked questions. This behavior was not only directed at me. I watched her mistreat an elderly man who seemed a bit confused. I feel if people are that unhappy in their job they should probably make a change. I needed to get a new card since mine expired. I stopped at 8am only to be told I may not enter since I didn't have my card on my person. After explaining it was expired and I didn't have it with me, I was denied entry. Told, this morning was for members with a plus account. I said I had a business account but only wanted to renew. Denied entry. I guess the greeter need to understand consumer experience. Costco and BJ's will treat me as a valued customer. read more

A great place to shop and get gas This location is right off the south side of US-192 sandwiched right next to a large movie theater. There is a gas station right up front by the road. If you have a membership you can get gasoline often at a very good discount. There may be lines but it is worth the wait with gas prices as high as they are. The store proper has plenty of parking in front and a tire/automotive part on the west side of the building. They will deliver to your car. Those spaces are adjacent, near the front but to the west side (Right as you face the front of the building). The store itself is typical of many Sam's clubs with large shelves stored with everything from TVs to food. They often give away promotional snacks to advertise different food items that are available. The prices are very reasonable for most items with the understanding that you are buying in bulk. Checkout is either self-service or a check-out person. There is a small snack bar after checkout if you are hungry for pizza, sodas, or other items. Overall, it is a very nice store, well-kept and clean, with reasonable prices and friendly staff. read more

So we went in to renew our membership this weekend and Mellisa and Kelly the manager assisted is. They determined that we had been double charged for additional Plus memberships last year and immediately apologized and gave us a cash refund. It took a bit of research to figure it all out but they went out of there way to provide honest and exceptional service. read more

Be careful when you purchase an extended warranty on an item as sams club! Sams will take back items that you buy from them however if the return goes past 30 days they will not refund the extended warranty even though you did not use any part of the warranty. Most items you purchase at Sam's club can be purchased on Amazon, many times at a cheaper price. If you purchase an extended warranty at Amazon for the item you purchased and decided that you wanted to return the item, Amazon will return the warranty as well. Amazon will be my go to store from now on. Thank you sams club for helping me to decide to go to Amazon full time. read more

There is an app you can use to ring out / purchase your items. It would be...COULD be helpful. That is if it ever worked. But it doesn't. So I asked customer service to help and I was advised that it is my phone's fault; I have to log in to Sams WiFi or it won't work. Okay -- got it. The next time I was in the store, I used only the Sam's Club WiFi. Contrary to what I was told, it still didn't work. I checked back with customer service. This time, I am advised the app not working is my fault; I need to delete and reload the app and then it will work. Got it. Went back to Sam's Club...logged onto Dam's WiFi, fired up my newly-loaded app....and it didn't work. Against my better judgment, I went back to "customer service" and I was told "the app is useless. You need to call 1-800-WALMART and tell them." So I called. I sat on a looping hold for 22+ minutes before I had enough. Remember the days when the Walton family owned the stores outright and gave a hot darn about customers? Too long ago to be recalled. Lesson learned. I'm heading to Costco -- it's not that far and I get treated much better. read more

My favorite place in the world!! Crab cakes is the bombs, I originally bought these crab cakes for just me and my husband to try out. The crab-filled, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth tasted won us over, and we now buy them regularly. I served them at a recent dinner party, and they were a hit with everyone! read more

This is mainly a review of the snack bar that is so pathetic for service they should just close! After waiting for 15 minutes I gave up and walked out leaving a long line of people waiting. This was the third time we walked out in the last few months for the same reason. No skill employees who can't wrap a hotdog without chit chatting with each other. Or worse they can't seem to understand when the last piece of pizza is purchased you must bake another DUH! For three weeks the Coke zero was out of order. Apparently these people have no ability to multi task. Or even task for that matter. I asked one of the employees to tell the manager how terrible the service is at the snack bar and she said "no one listens to me you will have to tell him". So that comment said it all!! Time for new management at Sams Cub Melbourne If management can't even get the snack bar working efficiently what does that say about management's ability to serve their customers in all of the other departments. read more

I bought a Christmas item today that was over 6ft tall, in a box, and fairly heavy, that first had to be brought out from behind several Christmas trees on display, then brought to my car, and loaded into a sedan - I don't have a truck or SUV. Every step of the way the staff at Sam's could not have been more helpful. In the end, 4 people ended up assisting in some way, including the young gentleman who helped me out to my car with it. We then had to unpack it from it's box in order to get it in the car. He couldn't have been nicer about it. That kind of service is what makes me return to Sam's Club in Melbourne! A great place to buy bulk items and food. For example today I bought laundry detergent, dryer sheets, shampoo, conditioner, vitamins, and toilet cleanser tablets. All super sized so running out anytime soon is not very likely. Gas is especially cheap. Filled up premium unleaded for $2.69 a gallon. Not bad at all. read more

It's pretty much like any other Sam's Club. The store is very well organized and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I don't buy food by the bulk, I don't have a big family. But if I did, I would definitely get it here. The prices and selection are very good. If I don't get food here, then what do I get? Everything else! Things that I hate running out of I buy in bulk. Sam's Wholesale Club is similar to other wholesale clubs in many ways but different in others. This location seems to have wide clear aisles, but they be just the feeling that the lighting gave one. Both the grocery and non-grocery aisles are labeled, so you don't have to go down the aisle first to find out what there is. Ckeckout lines moved fairly quick. read more

The Pharmacy staff at this Sam's Club location gets 2 thumbs up. They are knowledgeable and friendly with prompt and personal service. I am always greeted with a smile and "hello." In addition they will take a lot of time trying to help with insurance and medical questions and problems. The pharmacist is always available and eager to discuss my meds and the pharmacy techs go above and beyond all expectations of positive customer service. Have a local business and used to use Sam's for beverages. On several occasions we have not been able to purchase product during prime hours (4pm) as the beverage area was closed for re-stocking with fork lifts in the isle. Who stocks in the middle of the day? Employees were in no rush to get anything done even though there was a line of frustrated customers waiting on them. Then, tried Sam's shopping online. When I arrived to pickup, there was no employee at the pickup counter to process the order (at 5:30p). Other employees tried calling for someone to help but no one came. I left and returned the next day but was told the order had been cancelled and restocked because I didn't pick it up. Unbelievable. Anyway I've discovered that beverage prices are the same at Wal Mart and now shop there. Sam's Clubs are usually well run but this location is just very poorly managed. read more
