He thoroughly arranged the necessary tests, including MRI, biopsy, and PSMA PET/CT, which led to a clear and timely diagnosis. Because I was concerned about the risk of infection, I specifically requested a transperineal (TP) biopsy, and Dr. Shinghal was very receptive and performed it without issue. I truly appreciated how he listened to my concerns and accommodated my request. After the cancer was confirmed, he took the time to clearly explain the available treatment options, discussing both the benefits and potential concerns of each. This helped me make an informed and confident decision about my treatment. His recommendation of Dr. Yao for surgery was excellent and made a meaningful difference in my overall care and outcome. Dr. Shinghal is professional, thoughtful, and genuinely patient-centered. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy urologist.

When I got there I had two young girls follow me everywhere. They said I needed a urinalysis and then told me I needed a physical exam where the doctor inserts his fingers Into me. I let them know I was not comfortable with this given I was on my menstrual cycle. They both made strange faces, left, then t came back and told me the doctor insisted it get done or I can't be checked today. I was so angry given I brought him all my results, ct scans and we did a urinalysis. I hesitantly agreed since I was not feeling well and as I was changing, without knocking, both girls walked into the room. They didn't even apologize and opened the door wide. They proceeded to do something then left while I'm sitting there half naked. When it was time for the check, the doctor came in and was immediately smug about my symptoms. While checking me both girls stood and stared up the curtain which was so uncomfortable. After the test, the doctor came back and said he couldn't be sure it was a kidney infection and gave me some random medicine samples. I asked if I could get the results of the urinalysis and he said I could call if needed. Well I called and emailed twice, and never got a response about the urinalysis results. Needless to say I was traumatized and angry. I did not know about my next appt and did not get any notification it was coming up (I of course would've canceled). And now I get a bill for 50 dollars for missing it. I went to a normal urologist, who never had to insert their fingers in me, who did everything the way he was supposed to and yes I did have a bad infection. AVOID!!!!

His office is prompt and efficient, and his staff is nice to work with. My issue was in the quality of service. After an initial urine test for any obvious infection, the Dr. essentially went into "it's all in your head mode". He didn't really listen to described symptoms, didn't really discuss options, or explore what might really be the issue. He basically said, no obvious infection, here try this supplement. A few visits of this, and I gave up.

My husband was seriously bleeding from his prostate and was requiring blood and these big bags of water. Dr Saleh was trying real hard to get him in for an operation and finally, one evening when he was not the on call Dr he came and said we need to do an emergency surgery. He afterwards told me he couldn't stop all the bleeding but he tried real hard but he was worried that his heart which needed a valve couldn't handle more surgery. I recall meeting the Dr the next day after being up most of the night and having a full day of treatment I met the Dr in ICU and I asked him would he finally be able to get some rest and he said, "no, his 5 year old son had a science project that he submitted. The Dr treated him kindly and when my hubby who was in the hospital for a month was taking it badly he would just talk to him for 5-10 minutes. Also, in Aug 2020 he caught COVID before vacines. Putting a catheter was always tricky for something they called a secret package but the Dr had a family emergency and before he left he took care of my hubby. Dr. Saleh is the best, kind, caring, very knowledgable Dr. and we have been blessed to have him as my hubby's urologist. There is a comment by an Albert M. and truly it does not seem like we are talking about the same Dr. The World in my opinion is a better world because it has such an incredible Dr. This is long overdue but I am so glad to be doing it.
