A total great experience!!…read more Welcomed upon arrival and seated promptly with a reservation (suggested). Welcoming decor and staff was friendly throughout visit. The food! Meatball appetizer, big and rich in flavor with meatballs not too soft or hard. Great with warm bread that was provided. Main course was beyond big and easily two meals on each platting. Chicken parm was tender and nicely seasoned with pasta side. I had a special of peppers and onions in a spicy red sauce with crumbled sausage and bucatini as the pasta. It was cooked well and had a nice warm spice, but not over powering heat, easily two meals. Drink prices were market priced with a wine $ 8.00 for a good pour. Server was personable and attentive throughout our visit. It would appear the kitchen is small and staffed accordingly. I hear they limit take out orders when very busy and best to call ahead for complete info on a weekend. Overall great experience and will visit again.

It's a big open room with a moderately sized and full-service bar. The food is well-made traditional Italian with generous portions. We've tried a lot of the menu and haven't been disappointed. The meatballs are great. The wait staff are attentive, conscientious and clearly care about your experience. This is a family place, but dress appropriately and only bring your kids if they're well behaved. This isn't a place for unruly toddlers or crying babies. Make a reservation a few days in advance and show up 15-20 minutes early. You'll be happy you did and happy you came here.

Consistency like this is rare, and it says everything about the standards they keep. I started with the Pomegranate Granita Oysters, and wow. Bright, refreshing, unbelievably fresh, and balanced perfectly. They were the kind of oysters you slow down for because you don't want the bite to end. I ordered the duck ragu again because I couldn't stop thinking about it from my last visit -- and once again, absolute perfection. Rich, comforting, layered with flavor, and yes... I cleaned the plate spotless. Not a drop left behind. From the hospitality to the execution of every dish, everything about this restaurant screams class, quality, and a superb dining experience. The team makes you feel welcome, the food exceeds expectations, and you leave already planning your next reservation. Manchester is lucky to have a place like this.

It's very new agey and different for the sake of being different. But, the pasta was delicious and high quality! The place has a major attitude problem, though. The aesthetics are off-putting and attract a crowd of the worst types of people. Had to listen to nothing but whiny spite and anger my entire meal from multiple groups of guests. The waiter was the worst aspect, though. I didn't even know he worked there when he approached me. He was dressed down more than a lot of homeless people I've seen. He also shared that same attitude of the guests and made my business feel like an inconvenience the entire time, having the nerve to expect a tip for bringing my food out to me, which I would have just done myself to avoid him. I can recommend carryout, if you absolutely have to have some pasta in this area, but not eating in, and don't get anything that seems weird on the menu. We ordered the Arugula Roasted Beet salad. The arugula was super fresh and good, however, it overpowered the beets which were thin and underrepresented. We also enjoyed a shrimp cocktail which was very good. For mains we had the roasted duck breast and the braised short ribs. The duck breast was a bit more well done than we normally have preferred, but was delicious, tender and moist. The short ribs were melt-in-your mouth perfect. We both accompanied the mains with a glass of red wine (one of the Hout-Plaisance and one of the Pessac Leognan). For desert we tried the carrot cake and the peanut butter pie. The carrot cake was good but the peanut butter pie was heavenly. In all a very well prepared dinner. However, we expected more creativity from the chef compared to other meals we have enjoyed in the region. Pricing was on the high side.

I said you browse; I'll stand out here in the shade. Then I spied the sign for Chateau on the Lake, which said they were open for Happy Hour between 2:00pm and 5:00pm. So, I sauntered down Allens Alley towards the Chateau. Place was empty, except for the bartender. I announced I was here for Happy Hour, but was informed it's not really a Happy Hour, it's just that bar is open for business. Okay, I'll have a Heineken ($8). Then I went out back, sat in the shade, enjoyed my beer, looked at beautiful Lake George, and waited for the wife to call and say she was done browsing.

Sam's is in a small plaza set back from the street. Inside you find a nice casual pizza place, as you come in you have the pizza kitchen with the large wood fired pizza oven. You can order slices or whole pies, they also have salads, wings and a couple of sandwiches. We ordered a large mushroom pizza and grabbed a table by the small bar area. The bar has beer and wine, they offer a very nice selection of local brews. After settling in the pizza showed up quickly. Sam's pizzas are thin crust, nicely cheesy and have a good basic tomato sauce. The pizza are very good with a nice balance between the yeasty crust, the pungent cheese and the slightly sweet sauce. The mushrooms were a nice touch to add some extra umami to the pie. The pizza was well cooked, although I would usually like it a bit more well done. On the table is garlic powder, hot pepper, oregano, grated cheese and even some hot honey, so you can modify your pizza to your taste. The large pie made a nice dinner split between the two of us, we each got 4 good sized slices. Sam's is a great casual pizza joint, the atmosphere is relaxed, service is quick and we even had some very good live music to compliment our meal. If you are looking to get some good pizza and some beers you can't go wrong by heading to Sam's Wood Fire Pizza.

The space was repainted and still retains the same tile walls and flooring as before and a chalkboard menu with specials high above the counter. The place is order at the counter and there is table seating in store. They offer pizza by the slice, pizza pies (10"-12"-14"-16"-18"), gluten free pizza, calzones, strombolis, salads, fried appetizers, wings, garlic knots, subs, grinders, burgers, pasta dinners, desserts, and cooler drinks (Coke products, Monster drinks, yoohoo, juices, PowerAde). I stopped by Indulge Pizza recently for takeout. I ordered a Cheese Pizza Slice ($2) and a Spaghetti with Red Sauce & Breaded Chicken with Melted Cheese ($14 plus tax) dinner with side salad and garlic knot. I ate the cheese pizza slice while I waited for the Spaghetti & Chicken to be ready. The cheese pizza slice was reheated in the oven, which had a thin firm crust with bubbles, a decent red sauce and melted browned cheese, decent overall. The spaghetti & chicken with salad and garlic knot was all set to go in 17 minutes after ordering. I headed back to headed the house and the good sized dinner was still very hot in the round foil container. The spaghetti was cooked just right with a thick red tomato sauce and a thick breaded chicken cutlet topped with a thick layer of melted cheese. The hot baked garlic knot was great with the pasta. The side salad (in a plastic box) had a mix of iceberg lettuce, tomato slices, cucumber slices, red onion and dressing in a side cup. Overall, I enjoyed a good takeout dinner from Indulge Pizza while watching some college football.
