Outdoor seating... View from host table

The sprawling deck, outside bar and boats docked on the Hudson all give the Basin Grill a full-on vacation vibe. I didn't feel like I was in Schuylerville when we took our seats on the patio overlooking the outside seating (since it was fully shaded). Friendly staff, pleasant service and some tunes in the background added to the relaxing environment. We started with the Brussels sprouts-a very generous portion of larger sized sprouts adorned with smoky bacon crumbles, dried cranberries and balsamic drizzle. Tangy, sweet, crunchy and cruciferous-ey. My only issue was that several sprouts still had the base/stem attached and were difficult to eat. The only other "complaint" is that the sharing plates were not entirely clean-something was stuck to the bottom of one (that was stacked on top of the other). No biggie. The cheeseburger and fries got rave reviews...from a burger "connoisseur". I grabbed several fries and they were just right...smaller, crispy and not greasy. I ordered three different tacos ($6 each): pulled chicken, blackened mahi mahi and regular mahi mahi. The corn tortillas were very tasty; each one of the tacos were excellent (because sometimes corn tortillas are meh!) and filled to the rim. Really enjoyed my experience and would definitely go back for another good, laid back meal.

So this place has outside seating And depending on where you sit outside a view. They have a tent with sides and pumped in heat with picnic tables that allows for social distancing. The draft beer selection is very good some local some seasonal. We ordered a few sandwiches and I ordered the fall risotto. This was a full meal in itself and delightful. The mascarpone risotto has excellent flavor was well cooked with perfect texture and with the micro greens and sliced radish on top I was extremely happy. The sprouts I added on in case the risotto was served in a way to make it an actual appetizer. They were also well seasoned and the drizzle on top to add the salt and vinegar flavor were good. I got a bunch stolen from our party. Go. Order just the risotto. You'll be glad you did.

Great location, very good menu and we really enjoyed all meals. Great service. Highly recommend the Brussels sprouts as appetizer and the fresh mozzarella. Great salads, sandwiches and desserts.

    My loves lobster salad!

Our first visit to this establishment in Schuylerville NY. We arrived around 4:15pm to an almost empty space which surprised us as it was a delightful day. Casey our cheerful waitress was an awesome first introduction to the restaurant. My Manhattan was superb earning the bartender a special tip. Casey delivered our dinners with an amazing presentation. Our dinners were fantastic, just the right portions and so flavorful! I believe we have discovered a new favorite!

Food was good. Took a while to get silverware and napkins. Waitress was really nice and apologetic. Place looks great.

However they do deserve a five star rating because they are offering something different compared to any other place in Catskill. The place is called "The salad bar" however their sandwiches are just as good if not better than the salad. The ingredients are always fresh and I've never been disappointed. Prices are fair considering the quality and overall we need more places that are different and unique like this in the village. They have small cozy area for you to chill and enjoy your meal and the service is always quick and friendly. Many of the towns in the Hudson Valley have been revitalizing their downtown areas with great success but Catskill Village seems to be moving a lot slower compared to those other areas. The salad bar is one of those places that's helping it move forward.

And found this place. Not a big Mexican food fan, but I would find something. This place is great. I, being like a 5 year old kid, ordered a plain chicken burrito. They thought I was kidding. I get that a lot when I order at restaurants lol. They were THEEE nicest guys that worked here. Was kind of refreshing tbh bc you go into most places these days and well....they are people who truly hate working with the public lol. Prices weren't bad at all. It was legit worth every penny and then some. Even if I ordered some plain sh*t, the chicken was SO good and spicy. I know this place already does amazing even without reviews. BUT! If you are in the area and need a restaurant that doesn't close at like 6! Bc Manchester legit shuts down SO. EARLY! Avocado Pit, I believe is open until 9. Smart move on their part. Check it out. You won't be disappointed. Wish we had them here in Idaho. Thanks for reading, YelpAvocado'ers! Cheers!

It's a really outstanding addition to the area, filling a vacuum let by the exodus from the nearby Galleria 7, incredi.bowl (just going to call it Incredibowl because I don't know whether to pronounce the 'dot' or not) offers a very simple menu of three major warm grain bowls -- Morrocan, Harvest, and Mediterranean - and five salad bowls - Kale, Greek Goddess, Chickpea Avocado, Thai Yum, and Mexicali. Everything ranges between $12 and $17. You can also do a build your own starting at a $10 base, and they have three kinds of proteins available - salmon, tofu, and chicken - which you can substitute freely in any of the salad or grain bowls. We have tried all the warm grain salads during their soft opening and two of the salads, and they've all been really outstanding. Healthful, outstanding preparation, some unique tzatziki, made fresh right in front of you. My main quibbles such as they are: - the servings are enormous (it's a good value, I note, despite being pricey) and the bowls aren't quite big enough to split outright, so it's awkward sizing especially for lunch. I'd suggest they offer a bowl at just over half the size (maybe 5/8ths?) for 2/3 the price for those that don't want to commit. (I will add everything was excellent leftover the next day or two later, so the large size won't go to waste no matter how hungry you are). - they close at the awkward time of 7 PM. Even just extending it to 8 will get more dinner business from us on those "I forgot to plan something for tonight and we need something quick" nights. - just a few hiccups that go along with the break-in period which I trust will get resolved (mostly in order management, and the packaging of the bags needs to be sized to the bowls they're using - getting more than one bowl in a bag is a precarious operation). The inside is identical to when Ayelada (the quite excellent but poorly located frozen yogurt shop) was there - casual industrial vibe with stainless steel tables and a quick-eat layout. There's outside seating as well just to the side, not bad even though your view is a parking lot and Route 7, although it's too cold right now to enjoy. Service was relatively fast and friendly from the family owners. Warmly welcomed to the list of options on the Latham-Niskayuna border.

I thought I'd leave a review because Incredibowl seems like it's just starting up and I think they deserve a visit.
